IHRC: “Il cosiddetto ‘esercito siriano libero’ è solo un branco di terroristi”.
L’International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) dice che il cosiddetto ‘esercito siriano libero’ è solo un gruppo terroristico, sottolineando che Turchia, Qatar e Arabia Saudita forniscono denaro e armi ai terroristi in Siria.
In un’intervista rilasciata alla TV araba siriana mercoledì, il capo dell’IHRC, Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan, ha detto che IHCR condanna il terrorismo in tutto il mondo, senza alcuna eccezione, aggiungendo che i rapporti diffusi dai media dei paesi occidentali e di alcuni Stati del Golfo Persico, riguardo agli sviluppi in Siria, sono “falsi”.
“La Siria è stata vittima dello stesso tipo di terrorismo che ha preso di mira il Pakistan e altri paesi, a causa di al-Qaeda, che stava combattendo contro l’occupazione USA in Afghanistan ed ora è presente in Siria”, ha aggiunto Khan.
Il capo dell’IHRC si è scagliato contro il Qatar e la Turchia a causa del loro perseguimento di una politica basata sul finanziamento ai terroristi per destabilizzare i Paesi islamici.
Egli ha invitato tutte le parti in Siria a mettersi in gioco nel dialogo e a trovare una soluzione pacifica alla crisi in atto nel paese, invitando i gruppi dell’opposizione a modificare la propria politica di sostegno al terrorismo e di smetterla di essere semplici strumenti nelle mani di altri paesi.
Amin Khan ha osservato che la IHRC ospiterà una conferenza internazionale per risolvere la crisi in Siria, in Libano il prossimo febbraio, dicendo che molti capi di Stato e capi di organizzazioni internazionali saranno invitati alla manifestazione.
Il 31 dicembre scorso, il primo ministro siriano Nader Wael al-Halqi ha detto che Damasco risponderebbe a qualsiasi iniziativa destinata a risolvere i disordini in Siria attraverso il dialogo.
“Il governo sta lavorando per sostenere il progetto di riconciliazione nazionale e risponderà a qualsiasi iniziativa regionale o internazionale che possa risolvere l’attuale crisi attraverso il dialogo ed i mezzi pacifici, per evitare l’intervento straniero negli affari interni della Siria”, ha detto Halqi.
Molte persone, tra cui un numero elevato di appartenenti alle forze di sicurezza, sono stati uccisi nel tumulto che ha avuto inizio in Siria nel marzo 2011.
Il governo siriano dice che il caos è stato orchestrata dal di fuori del paese, e ci sono rapporti i quali confermano che un gran numero di militanti armati siano cittadini stranieri.

The International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) says the so-called Free Syrian Army is just a group of terrorists, stressing that Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are granting money and weapons to the terrorists in Syria.
In an interview with the Syrian Arab TV on Wednesday, IHRC Chief Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan said the IHCR condemns terrorism across the world without any discrimination, adding that media reports by Western countries and certain Persian Gulf littoral states about the developments in Syria are “untrue.”
Syria has been the victim of the same terrorism targeting Pakistan and other countries because the al-Qaeda that was fighting against the US occupation in Afghanistan is now present in Syria, he added.
The IHRC chief lashed out at Qatar and Turkey for pursuing a policy based on funding the terrorists to destabilize Muslim countries.
He invited all sides in Syria to get involved in dialogue and find a peaceful solution to the ongoing crisis in the country, calling on the opposition groups to alter their policy of support for terrorism and to stop being mere tools in the hands of other countries.
Amin Khan noted that the IHRC would host an international conference to solve crisis in Syria in Lebanon next February, saying several heads of states and chiefs of international organizations would be invited to the event.
On December 31, Syrian Prime Minister Wael Nader al-Halqi said that Damascus would respond to any initiative meant to resolve the turmoil in Syria through dialogue.
“The government is working to support the national reconciliation project and will respond to any regional or international initiative that would solve the current crisis through dialogue and peaceful means and prevent foreign intervention in Syria’s internal affairs,” Halqi said.
Many people, including large numbers of security forces, have been killed in the turmoil that began in Syria in March 2011.
The Syrian government says that the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the armed militants are foreign nationals.
