Competent Authorities Clash with Armed Terrorist Group in Idleb Countryside, Seize Weapons in Homs
The competent authorities on Monday clashed with an armed terrorist group at al-Zawieh Mountain in Idleb Countryside as a number of the terrorists were killed and others were wounded, and an amount of weapons and ammunition was seized by the authorities without any casualties among its members.
The confiscated materials included rifles, launchers and sophisticated communication devices used by the armed terrorist group in perpetrating its criminal acts in the area.
In Hama Baida (Semi-desert) an armed terrorist group on Sunday evening stormed into the headquarters of al-Bela’as nature reserve and destroyed its contents.
An official source in the province mentioned that seven terrorists opened fire on the checkpoints of the aforementioned reserve and destroyed the contents of its headquarters and smashed its doors and windows, in addition to threatening the guards to kill them if they don’t leave the headquarters.
Car Loaded with Weapons and Bombs Seized in Homs
Authorities in Homs governorate hunted a suspicious Kia Cerato car with a fake plate and seized the weapons and bombs inside it at Homs detour.
The seized weapons included 40 mortars and a launch platform, explosive charges, grenades, TNT explosives and fake license plates.
Lieutenant Colonel Ammar al-Hafal Martyred in Hasaka Lieutenant Colonel Ammar al-Hafal was martyred on Sunday when he was chasing arms smugglers in al-Houl area, 40 km east of Hasaka.
A source at Hasaka National Hospital said that martyr al-Hafal died when a shot ripped his blood vessels nourishing the heart.
The martyr was married. He had 2 sons and 3 daughters.
