DAMASCUS, (SANA)- The participants in the Forum of Syrian Arab Tribes in Aleppo and its countryside, held in Damascus, stressed their support to the homeland and the Syrian people to face the plots targeting Syria’s unity and stability.
In a concluding statement on Wednesday, the tribes’ representatives reiterated their confidence in Syria, which they said will remain “an alphabet of amity and resistance” and will always be the fortified castle against its walls the conspiracies break.
They affirmed their standing by the army and the armed forces in confronting the criminal tools of the foreign powers that are conspiring against Syria.
“We are all one hand and one tribe in the face of the saboteurs and the conspirators,” said the statement.
The participant sheikhs stressed their complete rejection of any form of foreign interference in their country’s internal affairs and their full support to their national leadership, expressing their readiness to sacrifice everything for the sake of the homeland.
They said confidently that the conspiracies hatched against Syria by foreign parties and by the Gulf states, “which have abandoned their Arabism and the Arab causes, on top being Palestine,” are doomed to failure.
The sheikhs stressed that Syria’s territorial integrity and the Syrian Arab army are “a red line”, voicing the tribes’ determination to defend their homeland until victory is achieved.
