DARAA – 1 Mar 2012 – Visiting Daraa Province on Thursday, a joint Russian-Spanish delegation expressed denunciation of the conspiracy hatched against Syria with the aim of undermining its stances and role in the region, calling upon journalists to visit Syria and to inspect the reality of the situations in it.
Touring the headquarters of the Justice Palace and of the TV & Radio Center in the Province which had been destroyed by the armed terrorist groups who stole their contents, members of the delegation affirmed that the life in the city is normal and that peace prevails in most of its parts.
They indicated that they will convey a true image about the reality of the events on the ground, referring to the fierce media campaign launched by some Western and Arab countries against Syria.
Meeting the delegation’s members, Daraa Governor, Mohammad Khalid al-Hanous, indicated that Syria is facing a global media war and conspiracy led by the US, France and England and some of the Arab countries with the aim of undermining its security and stability and of dissuading it from its key role in supporting the resistance in the region.
