The Regional Leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP) stressed that the battle in which the Syrian armed forces are currently engaged is the decisive battle for saving the national and pan-Arab project given that the majority of Arab regimes have become tools for the anti-Arab Nation project advocates.
In a statement on Thursday on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of Tishreen (October) Liberation War, the Regional Leadership said the anniversary revives the feelings of national pride in victory which led to the emergence of the culture of resistance and its liberational impact on the Arab land.
“Our armed forces’ battle today against the enemy which, along with its tools, have become inside our homeland, is the battle of saving Syria which has always been the hallmark in the region’s history and geography,” said the statement.
It added that millions of honest people in the world realize that what is taking place in Syria is a decisive battle between an international oppressive unipolar system and a more just and balanced new universal system.
The Regional Leadership expressed the BASP’s congratulations to the Syrian people on this glorious occasion, reiterating the Party’s standing with the Syrians in the ongoing battle on which the destiny of the homeland’s future depends.
It highlighted that the theory of ideologized army consolidated by President Bashar al-Assad was proved effective and necessary, noting that what is meant of ideology here is that of the national and pan-Arab ideology which is committed to the issues of people in the Syrian homeland and in the countries of the Arab world, expressing the BASP’s pride in adhering to this ideology since its foundation.
The statement reaffirmed that the armed forces’ current battle is central and important for the battle of Syria and the Arab nation that is aimed at liberating the occupied Arab territories and confronting the Zionist project in the region.
The Regional Leadership concluded its statement by saluting the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army on the anniversary of October Liberation War, which it said boosts confidence in victory and reveals the importance of unity between the people, army, state and political leadership in Syria.
