Killed the last Christian who had remained at Homs
The last Christian, who had stayed in Homs after the evacuation of the civilian population, was killed yesterday.
According to the Vatican News Agency ‘Fides’, Elias Mansour, 84 years, a Greek Orthodox Christian, had not wanted to leave his home, on the road to Wadi Sabharwal, ’cause he had to take care of his son Chris, handicapped, although he knew that his life was in danger.
The area of Wadi Sabharwal, inhabited by Christians and Sunni Muslims, was the middle of fighting between the regular Syrian army and the mercenaries jihadists. But still some terrorist snipers are around, hidden as sewers rats.
Mansour was killed yesterday. Days before he said he would not leave his home for no reason and that, if he had met the jihadists, ”he reminded them the Ten Commandments and the Holy Scriptures”.
He was killed by a sniper while he was down in the street after the explosion of a car bomb, to check the damage and if he could give relief to someone.
The funeral takes place today in an Orthodox Church. An Orthodox priest is trying to track down her son, who is handicapped, whose fate is unknown.

Ucciso l’ultimo cristiano che era rimasto a Homs
E’ stato ucciso l’ultimo cristiano che era rimasto nel centro di Homs, dopo l’evacuazione della popolazione civile.
Secondo quanto riferisce l’agenzia vaticana Fides, Elias Mansour, 84 anni, cristiano greco-ortodosso, non aveva voluto lasciare la sua casa, nella strada di Wadi Sayeh, perche’ doveva prendersi cura di suo figlio Adnane, handicappato, anche se sapeva che la sua vita era in pericolo.
L’area di Wadi Sayeh – abitata da cristiani e musulmani sunniti – e’ stata al centro di combattimenti fra esercito regolare e mercenari jihadisti. Ma ancora ci sono alcuni cecchini e terroristi nei dintorni, nascosti come topi di fogna.
Mansour sarebbe stato ucciso ieri. Nei giorni precedenti aveva detto che non avrebbe lasciato la sua casa per nessun motivo e che, se avesse incontrato i jihadisti, ”avrebbe ricordato loro i dieci Comandamenti e le Sacre Scritture”.
E’ stato ucciso da un cecchino, dopo essere sceso in strada, successivamente all’esplosione di un autobomba, per verificare i danni e se poteva prestare soccorso a qualcuno.
Il funerale si celebra oggi in una chiesa ortodossa. Un sacerdote sta cercando di rintracciare suo figlio, che e’ disabile, e di cui non si conosce la sorte.
