CAPITALS, (SANA)-The National Union for Syrian Students and the Syrian community in Italy, in cooperation with the Syrian-Italian Friendship Committee staged a stand in solidarity with Syria at the Flaminio Square in Rome.
Participants in the stand expressed support to Syria and rejection of terrorism which targeted it, denouncing the Israeli aggression on Jamraya scientific research center.
They raised the Syrian flag and photos of President Bashar al-Assad and chanted slogans which confirm rejection of the foreign interference in their country.
They also expressed appreciation for the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab army to restore security and stability to Syria.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Students in Cuba and the Cuban National Students Union staged a stand in solidarity with Syria and denunciation of the Israeli aggression on one of the scientific research center in Jamraya in Damascus countryside.
Participants in the stand expressed rejection of the foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs. They raised the Syrian flags and photos of President Bashar al-Assad.
In a statement, the Syrian and Cuban students condemned the Israeli criminal aggression on the center, asserting that this criminal act proves Israel’s involvement in the aggression on Syria.
They also expressed support for the Syrian leadership, army and people.
Deputy Chairman of the Cuban Students National Union expressed Cuba’s support to Syria, condemning the terrorist acts perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups in Syria.
She denounced the Israeli aggression on Jamraya scientific center as a flagrant interference in Syria’s internal affairs.
Mass Rally in New Delhi to Express Solidarity with Syria
Huge crowds went out in a mass rally in the Indian capital New Delhi to express solidarity with Syria against the Israeli aggression on Jamraya scientific research center in Damascus Countryside and the terrorist war waged by Israel’s allies and the agents of the US and the West.
Members of the National Panthers Party and other parties, civil organizations and NGOs as well as Syrian students, expatriates and businessmen in India participated in the rally.
The participants denounced Israel’s recent aggression on Syria and chanted slogans against Israel, the US and the western countries which support terrorism in Syria.
They also greeted the Syrian and Indian peoples, calling for amity, tolerance and peaceful solution to the crisis so that security would prevail in Syria again.
The participants raised Syrian and Indian flags, posters of President Bashar al-Assad and banners which stressed that Israel and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group are partners in terrorism in Syria.
They also hailed the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army in the battle against terrorism.
The participants walked to the building of the Syrian Embassy in New Delhi where they observed a moment of silence for the souls of Syria’s martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defending Syria’s dignity and sovereignty.
Speeches delivered during the rally affirmed the need for halting violence and condemning the Israeli aggression and terrorism backed by the US and the western countries agiasnt the Syrian people.
Leader of the National Panthers Party in India, Bhim Singh, said that Syria is paying for its national stances against the Israeli aggression and occupation of the Arab territories in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon.
He called upon the Arabs to wake up and stand by Syria to combat the Zionist imperialist policy in the region, reiterating support to Syria’s people and leadership in their battle.
Singh expressed confidence in Syria’s steadfastness and ability to achieve victory.
For his part, Head of All India United Democratic Front, Mohammad Siddiqui, denounced the terrorist crimes committed against the Syrian people in the name of Islam, calling upon the Arab countries to support Syria and retaliate for the terrorist Israeli attack.
He stressed that the US supports terrorism and terrorist groups in Syria serving Israel’s interest in the region and divert the world’s attention from Israel’s continued occupation of the Arab territories.
In turn, the Syrian students and expatriates in India reiterated support to the homeland and condemned the Israeli aggression on Jamraya scientific research center in Damascus countryside.
