Delegated by President al-Assad, Minister Azzam offers condolences on demise of President Chavez
Mar 09, 2013 – cARACAS – Delegated by President Bashar al-Assad, Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam offered heartfelt condolences, by the name of President al-Assad and the Syrian people, to the government and people of Venezuela on the death of great leader, late President Hugo Chavez.
Minister Mansour on Friday took part in the solemn funeral of Chavez held at the Military Academy in Caracas.
The Minister conveyed President al-Assad’s condolences and the Syrian government and people’s regret and pain feelings to the acting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on the loss of a dear friend for the Syrian people.
Azzam also offered condolences to the Family of Chavez and a number of Latin American leaders.
Syrian Ambassador in Venezuela Ghassan Abbas joined Azzam in offering the condolences.

L’Ambasciatore siriano in Venezuela, Ghassan Abbas, e il Ministro degli Affari presidenziali, Mansour Azzam, hanno offerto le condoglianze da parte del governo siriano e si sono uniti al dolore e rimpianto del popolo venezuelano e del neo-presidente venezuelano Nicolas Maduro per la perdita di un caro amico e sincero del popolo siriano, rinnovando l’amicizia e unità d’intenti che legano il Venezuela e la Siria.
