Iranian deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs says Syria does not require the Islamic Republic’s military assistance in its fight against foreign-backed Takfiri militants.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Thursday that the recent victory scored by Syrian troops in the strategic town of al-Qusair was the result of the struggles and perseverance of Syrian nation and Syrian Arab Army as “the Syrian government does not need Iranian fighters and weapons.”
The Iranian diplomat made the remarks in response to a Wednesday statement by White House spokesman, Jay Carney, claiming that the Syrian government “could not contest the opposition’s control of Qusair on its own, and is depending upon Hezbollah and Iran to do its work for it in Qusair.”
Amir-Abdollahian, however, reiterated that the Islamic Republic will continue its strong support for Syria.
Syria’s state television reported on Wednesday that the Syrian Army managed to fully recapture the western town of al-Qusair, an important center and supply route for the foreign-sponsored militants fighting against the Arab state, following three weeks of combat,.
Many of the foreign-backed militants and members of the armed groups were reportedly killed or injured during the Syrian Army operation to clean al-Qusair from terrorists.
Foreign-sponsored militancy in Syria, which erupted in March 2011, has claimed the lives of many people, including large numbers of Syrian soldiers and security personnel.

Now it´s time to march to Alepp and Homs, cities and expulse the terrorists still inside some districts of these towns. Sorround them, and they will have no choice, or give up fighting, and put theirs weapons down or die like ragged dogs.
Your comment is very good and we totally agree agree to it, thank you.
