The European Solidarity Front for Syria and the National Union of Syrian Students in Czech called for organizing a mass rally in solidarity with Syria at St. Wenceslas Square in the Czech capital Prague.
The Front said that ”Syria has been facing a war over two years waged by US and EU-funded terrorists, in which churches and mosques were destroyed and civilians killed, not to mention a widespread destruction of infrastructure in the country”.
The Front urged the Czech citizens to turn out to show support to the Syrian people and emphasize that Syria’s fate “is not a matter of indifference to them.
The rally is scheduled for Saturday July 20, under the title ”Gathering to support Syrian people”.
