Army units carried out operations against terrorists in several areas, killing many, injuring others in addition to destroying their dens.

Rocket launch pads, mortars destroyed in Aleppo

A series of special operations were carried out in Aleppo countryside during which the army units destroyed rocket launch pads and mortars and targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings.

A military source told SANA reporter that an army unit ambushed a group of terrorists in al-Lairamoun area, leaving many of them dead and wounded. Terrorists Anas Malek Hammoud and Jum’eh Hussein were identified among the dead.

In the meantime, 3 trucks loaded with weapons and ammunition were destroyed in Abo Jabbar village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, the source said, adding that several terrorists’ gatherings were destroyed on Einjareh road, Aleppo-al-Atareb road and in al-Naqarin and al-Mintar village, along with their weapons and vehicles.

According to the source, units of the armed forces killed and injured members of terrorist groups and destroyed their weapons in the villages of Kweiris, al-Jadideh, Erbid, Kaskees and Rasm al-Abboud.

The weapons, the source said, included rocket launch pads, mortars and heavy machine guns.

Also in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, the army units destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in Tall Sabeen village.

Members of an armed terrorist group were killed and injured as they were trying to attack the residents in the surrounding of Samiramis building in the old city of Aleppo.

5 weapons caches destroyed in Idleb countryside

Five terrorists’ weapons and ammunition caches rockets were destroyed during army operations in different villages and towns in Idleb, in addition to killing and injuring many terrorists.

An official source told SANA that units of the armed forces destroyed terrorists’ gatherings near al-Muallaqeh village in Jisr al-Shughour and killed many of them, including terrorists with ties to Jabhat al-Nusra.

Terrorists Nawar Hussein al-Hassan, Abdul-Hakeem al-Ismail, Hassan Najib Haj Hassan, Abbas Kamal Qousareh and Tawfiq Mohammad Dib Lattouf, in addition to Ahmad Abdul-Jalil Zein-Eddin, leader of the so-called “Junoud al-Sham Battalion”.

The source added that an army unit destroyed a terrorists’ cache including Grad rockets, 23 mm caliber anti-aircraft gun and 4 other weapons caches in Kansafreh village in the countryside. The operations resulted in the death and injury of several terrorists.

Meanwhile, a military source said units of the armed forces destroyed terrorists’ dens and gatherings and killed numbers of them in the villages and towns of Laroz, Kafr Oweid, Hallouz, al-Alliyeh, al-Tleiheh, al-Bareh, Bzabour and Kfarroumeh.

Weapons and ammunition loaded on a number of vehicles were destroyed in Binnesh village.

Terrorists killed in Damascus Countryside

In the same context, an army unit clashed with armed terrorist groups on the western-northern axis in al-Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside, according to an official source.

The source told SANA that a number of terrorists were killed and wounded in the operation. Among the dead were Atef Tawfiq Assaf, Hussein Qarmouz, Hussein Wafa, Yaser Darwish, Mohammad Hussein and Abo Abdo al-Ghaffar.

Army eliminates terrorists in Deir Ezzor

Units of the Syrian Arab Army eliminated terrorists who were trying to enter a car loaded with weapons and ammunition into Deir Ezzor city and destroyed their dens and gatherings in al-Merieh village.

An official source told SANA reporter that the army razed to the ground dens and gatherings of terrorists in al-Rashdieh, Sheikh Yassin and al-Matal al-Qadim neighborhoods.

An army unit eliminated 7 terrorists near the al-Maamel roundabout and destroyed four cars loaded with weapons and ammunition.

Terrorists’ infiltration attempt from Lebanon foiled

In Homs, an army unit foiled, in cooperation with border guards, terrorists’ attempts of infiltration from the Lebanese territories into Syria in Talkalakh area in Homs countryside.

A military source told SANA reporter that terrorists who attempted to infiltrate from the Lebanese villages of al-Noura and al-Debbabiyeh to Syria from al-Ramel, al-Daliyeh and Edlin sites in Talkalakh countryside were confronted.

The source added that the army unit carried out direct blows against the terrorists, forcing them to flee into the Lebanese territories.

Tens of terrorists killed in weapons cache blast in Homs

In another context, scores of terrorists were killed and others were wounded in a blast which took place inside a weapons and ammunition cache in al-Mitras village near Talkalakh.

SANA reporter quoted an official source as saying that among the killed terrorists were 6 non-Syrians.

Terrorist groups’ leaders killed among others in Lattakia countryside

Army operations continued in the northern countryside of Lattakia, with many were killed and injured in Marj Khoukha village, including Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorists.

A military source told SANA that Ezz Eddin al-Mahamid, leader of an armed terrorist group, was identified among the dead.

Another army unit killed 4 terrorists and wounded 5 others in al-Qasatel village. Among the dead were Ammar al-Mohamamd and Hatem al-Hassan.

In Marj al-Zawyeh village, 3 terrorists were killed, including Abo Abdo al-Turkman, while 6 others were killed and 9 wounded as the army targeted their den in Saqiyet al-Kart village.

Abdul-Rahman al-Dimashqi, leader of an armed terrorist group affiliated to the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham Brigade” was identified among the dead in Saqiyet al-Kart.

Units of the armed forces thwarted an attempt by terrorists to sneak from al-Shamsiyeh village into Wata al-Khan village having killed a number of them and destroyed their weapons loaded in 3 vehicles.
