Syrian Army hits terrorists’ dens in Homs

Dec 11, 2013 – Homs – Army units on Wednesday killed a number of terrorists and destroyed several of their dens in the neighborhoods of al-Qusour and al-Waer in the city of Homs, according to a military source.

The source told SANA reporter that other terrorists’ dens were destroyed in the villages of al-Ghasbiyeh and al-Khaldiyeh in the countryside.

Army presses on with operations against terrorists

Provinces, (SANA)- The army is pressing ahead with operations against terrorist groups in various areas around the country, killing many of their members, in addition to destroying their dens and weapons.

Terrorist groups eliminated, cars destroyed in Damascus Countryside

A number of terrorists, including leader of the so-called “al-Qasas al-Adel Battalions” were killed in a string of operations that targeted terrorist groups’ gatherings in various areas in Damascus Countryside.

Several armed terrorist groups were eliminated in Rima farms to the southwest of al-Nabek city, with their weapons and ammunition getting destroyed, according to an official source.

The source told SANA reporter that Iyad al-Khatib, leader of the so-called “al-Qasas al-Adel Battalions” was identified among the dead, alogn with Diaa Ghannam and Adnan Abdul-Rahman.

An army unit, the source added, clashed with a terrorist group in al-Jam’iyat neighborhood in Maaloula, leaving most of its members dead and injured.

Another army unit destroyed a rocket launch pad in Joubar neighborhood and razed terrorists’ dens in areas in Douma city, killing many terrorists during the operations.

Salim al-Hfeiri, Khalid al-Ajwah, Ibrahim al-Shamma and Anas al-Halabi were among the dead.

A number of terrorists’ gatherings were destroyed to the north of al-Moadamiyeh town, while several members of terrorist groups were killed and injured and their weapons were destroyed in Daraya city, including a Libyan terrorist.

Meanwhile, a military source told SANA that army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles along with the weapons and ammunition inside and killed many of the terrorists in Tal al-Kharnoubeh area to the northeast of al-Dmeir and in al-Maghar mount to the east of al-Rheibeh town and to the west of the Electricity Institute in Adra al-Balad area.

An army unit, the source added, destroyed a B-10 anti-tank gun near al-Hassan Mosque in al-Qaboun neighborhood in the city of Damascus, while another unit killed a number of terrorists in Barzeh neighborhood.

Fahd al-Ghoutani, Ra’fat Dayoub and Mehi-Eddin Makkiyeh were identified among the killed terrorists.

Army units destroy terrorists’ dens in Homs

Units of the armed forces destroyed terrorists’ dens near al-Rastan bridge in Homs countryside, killing and injuring all terrorists inside them.

An official source told SANA that among the dead terrorists were Huzayfa al-Abaed and Abdulrahman Wardeh. While another army unit killed a number of terrorists in Sariko Street in al-Rastan city and al-Zafaraneh village in Talbisa countryside.

The source added that an army unit destroyed a terrorist den in Bab Houd neighborhood, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.

In another context, a dispute was erupted between two terrorist groups in Saraqib town, causing the killing of several terrorists, including Ibrahim al-Zaa’r.

Foreign terrorists killed in Homs

Units of the armed forces wholly eliminated several armed terrorist groups in several areas in Homs province, killing all of the groups’ members, who included Saudis, Turks and Libyans, an official source told SANA.

The source said many terrorists linked to Jabhat al-Nusra were killed in Bustan al-Diwan, including Mohamamd Hazza al-Anzi and Saffouk Hajj Khudr from Saudi Arabia, in addition to a terrorist from Libya and another from Turkey.

Terrorists Rateb al-Hafian, Hazem Khazam, Khalid al-Saadi and Qassem al-Sheikh were also identified among the dead.

In al-Houleh area, an army unit repelled an armed terrorist group as it was trying to transfer weapons and ammunition from Sheikh Brahim al-Hakim area to Kafrlaha and Taldaw, leaving most of its members dead.

Several special operations were carried out by the army units in al-Qarabis and the old city of Homs which resulted in the killing of scores of terrorists.

11 weapons-loaded cars destroyed in Aleppo

SANA reporter quoted a military source in Aleppo as saying that large numbers of terrorists were killed and injured in operations carried out in the neighborhoods of al-Sukkari, al-Zubdiyeh, Salah-Eddin, al-Haidariyeh and al-Ashrafiyeh.

The terrorists’ weapons and ammunition were destroyed

The source added that army units razed several dens for armed terrorist groups and killed all of the terrorists inside in the villages and towns of al-Sheikh S’eed, Abtin, Azzan, Khan Touman, al-Wedeihi and al-Lairamoun and in the surrounding of Aleppo Central Prison and the Kindi Hospital.

Other units of the armed forces destroyed 6 of the terrorists’ cars loaded with weapons and ammunition in al-Zurbeh village and 5 other cars in Abo Jabbar, Deir Hafer, Kafif and near the Industrial City.

A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured to the north of al-Mislmiyeh and to the south of Mare’.

Terrorists killed in Idleb

In Idleb province, army units carried out a number of special operations in which they eliminated armed terrorist groups and destroyed several cars loaded with weapons and ammunition in Sarmin area and Nahleh town in the countryside of Ariha.

Army eliminates non-Syrian terrorists in Lattakia countryside

Army units continued operations against terrorists in Lattakia’s northern countryside, eliminating entire terrorist groups whose members included Saudis, Qataris, Kuwaitis, Iraqis, Moroccans and Jordanians, in addition to destroying caches of rockets and explosive devices.

The army units killed 17 terrorists in Sher al-Qaboua village, including Ghadban al-Talli and Omar al-Ramli from Qatar, Mahmoud Mousa, Assaad Sheikh al-Daar and Abdulrahman Khazndar, while other army units killed 4 terrorists in Saqiyet al-Kart, including Ahmad al-Hamdi from Jordan.

The army units destroyed terrorists’ dens and 6 cars loaded with weapons and ammunition in al-Qantar and al-Dwraa villages, killing many terrorists, including Abdulrahman al-Rahmani from Bangladesh and Anwar Darwish and Ahmad Amori, while other army units killed all members of an armed terrorist group in al-Qaramliyeh village, including Mazen al-Hajj Ali, Othman al-Bahra, Basim Naseredden and Majed Shekhani, in addition to Ramadan Wald Badok from Morocco.

In Rabeaa village, the army units killed scores of terrorists, including Hmoud al-Shibil and Raa’d al-Tarah from Kuwait and Abu Dujana from Iraq and the Saudi Khaldon al-Msabyeh, in addition to destroying their warehouses which were full of rockets and a number of cars.

In the same context, other army units killed 19 terrorists and destroyed a number of destroyed their warehouses in Salma town.

Army units eliminate terrorist groups in Daraa

Army units continued operations against terrorists in Daraa province, leaving all members of a terrorist group dead or injured in Enkhel and eliminating terrorists who attempted to attack a military checkpoint in al-Hirak and destroying two mortar launchers they had been using.

In Daraa’s western countryside, an army unit eliminated terrorist Mohammad Fawaz Abu Husni along with all his group’s members in an operation carried out in the town of Tasil.

In Daraa city, army units eliminated terrorist groups near Sheikh Abdelaziz Mosque, near the station, al-Hamadin area and al-Sadd road.

Infighting among two terrorist groups in the town of al-Mzairib resulted in most of the groups’ members ending up dead or injured.

Army units foil terrorists infiltration, kill scores of them in Daraa countryside

A unit of the armed forces foiled terrorists attempt to infiltrate from Adwan town to Nawa city in the western countryside of Daraa, killing and injuring many of them.

A military source told SANA that the army units destroyed terrorists’ dens full of weapons, ammunition and medical equipment in Abdeen village in the western countryside of Daraa, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

The source added that other army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Enkhil, Atman, Tafas, Dael al-Nazihin camp and the old customs , killing and injuring scores of them.

Terrorist rocket and mortar attacks in Aleppo city claim lives of 12 civilians
\#Aleppo, (#SANA)- Terrorists fired rocket shells and mortar rounds on Tuesday at the neighborhoods of al-Faid, al-Meridian and Saif al-Dawleh in Aleppo city, claiming the lvies of 12 citizens and injuring others.

A source at Aleppo Police Command told that the shells and mortars were fired by terrorists from Bustan al-Qaser area, and that that in addition to claiming 12 lives, the attacks also injured 50 citizens, some of them in critical condition.

The source said that the attacks also caused considerable material damage to homes, shops and cars in the aforementioned neighborhoods.
