Provinces, (SANA)- 350 wanted people who got involved in the recent events in the country turned themselves in Sunday in Madaya town in Damascus Countryside, a source at Damascus Police Command said.
The source told SANA the wanted persons turned themselves in to the authorities and will have their file settled.
25 persons benefit from amnesty and get released in Homs
Meanwhile, 25 persons who also were involved in the events but did not commit murders had their file settled and were released in Homs after they handed over themselves to the authorities and pledged not to do any act that would affect the security of the homeland.
Governor of Homs Talal al-Barazi noted during meeting the released people that many of those who were mislead into getting involved in the events in the country have surrendered themselves and benefited from the amnesty decree.
15 people involved in events released in Idleb
In the same context, 15 other people were also released in Idleb after they were proved not guilty of killing Syrians.
The released people had their file settled after they pledged not to carry out any acts that would harm Syria’s security in the future.
Governor of Idleb Safwan Abo Saadi met the released people and stressed the importance of them having to go back to their normal life and contribute to the building and defense of the homeland against the plots targeting it.
He voiced the governorate’s readiness to provide all forms of assistance and support to those who were released in terms of helping them get on with their lives and solve issues related to their livelihood.
