Damascus, (SANA/Said) – Jan 19, 2014 – Spokesman for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command Anwar Raja announced Sunday that a new batch of food supplies has entered al-Yarmouk Camp in Damascus.
The aid delivery, which included a previous humanitarian relief batch delivered yesterday, is being carried out in implementation of a peaceful popular initiative to alleviate the suffering of the people trapped in the camp.
A week ago, the armed terrorist groups targeted an UNRWA aid convoy and prevented it from entering the camp.
Palestinian Minister of Labor, Ahmad Majdalani, stressed during a previous meeting with Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, in Damascus that the suffering of the people in the camp is caused by the gunmen who entered it.
