Breaking News: Homs, armed terrorist groups violated the ceasefire who was set to allow Red Crescent and the UN to deliver humanitarian aid to the population
In Homs, was found a ceasefire agreement with the terrorist groups that hold hostage the residents, to allow the transport of humanitarian aid to the population, delivered by the Red Crescent and the UN team.
But the Homs Governor, Talal al-Barazi, on Saturday said that the armed terrorist groups violated the truce in the old city of Homs, by firing mortar shells on the Police Command building in the Old Sa’a area.
Barazi affirmed the city’s commitment to carry out the agreement signed with the UN resident representative to get the civilians, besieged by the armed terrorist groups, out of the old city.
The Governor added that he made a field visit to the old Sa’a region on the surrounding of the old city, asking the field commanders to exercise the highest degree of self-restraint to fulfill the agreement.
Friday, the first group of civilians besieged in the old city has been allowed out of the city towards Deek al-Jinn area.
The governor is anyway confirming that entering of aids to Homs old city continues though the armed men violating to the trace.
However, in the afternoon of Saturday, terrorist groups have attacked and looted the convoy of Red Crescent ambulances, taking hostage the UN workers who were inside the old city.
In the evening was told that the team of the Red Crescent and the UN, which had been seized by terrorists, have been released.
Because of this failure of humanitarian truce, only a truckload of aid was able to enter in the old quarter of Homs, while other two trucks were blocked by the Red Crescent, waiting for a more solid truce.

Ultime Notizie: Homs, gruppi terroristici armati hanno violato il cessate il fuoco che era stato pattuito per consentire alla Mezzaluna Rossa e alle Nazioni Unite di fornire aiuti umanitari alla popolazione locale tenuta in ostaggio.
In Homs, era stato trovato un accordo di tregua, con i gruppi terroristi che tengono in ostaggio i residenti, per permettere ai mezzi della Mezzaluna Rossa e delle Nazioni Unite di consegnare aiuti umanitari alla popolazione.
Ma il governatore Homs, Talal al-Barazi, sabato pomeriggio ha dichiarato che i gruppi terroristici armati hanno violato la tregua nella città vecchia di Homs, sparando colpi di mortaio sull’edificio dei comandi di Polizia nel quartiere vecchio di Sa’a.
Barazi ha affermato l’impegno della città per rispettare l’accordo siglato con il rappresentante locale delle Nazioni Unite al fine di poter fare evacuare i civili, assediati dai gruppi terroristici armati nella città vecchia.
Il governatore ha aggiunto di aver fatto personalmente una visita nell’area di Sa’a, nei dintorni della città vecchia, chiedendo ai comandanti di campo di esercitare il più alto grado di autocontrollo per adempiere all’accordo stabilito.
Venerdì, al primo gruppo di civili assediati era stato permesso di uscire dalla città verso la zona Deek al-Jinn.
Tuttavia, nel pomeriggio di sabato i gruppi terroristici hanno attaccato e saccheggiato il convoglio di ambulanze della MezzaLuna Rossa, prendendo in ostaggio gli operatori delle Nazioni Unite che erano all’interno della città vecchia.
In serata é stato dichiarato che il team della Mezzaluna Rossa e la squadra delle NU, che erano stati sequestrati da terroristi, sono stati liberati e stanno bene.
A causa di questa rottura di tregua umanitaria, solo un camion di aiuti é riuscito ad entrare nel quartiere vecchio di Homs, mentre altri due camion sono stati bloccati dalla Mezzaluna Rossa in attesa di una tregua piú solida.
