Syrian President Bashar al-Assad paid a visit to several families who were displaced by militants who took over the town of Adra in the Damascus countryside.
He met with members of those families as they spoke about their suffering from having members of their families either kidnapped or killed by terrorists and from being displaced and not being able to return home.
President Assad likened Adra to a “little Syria” in its residents’ diversity and the suffering it is undergoing due to terrorism.
