Former US Senator Bob Graham, who served as chair of the congressional joint committee on 9/11, says a committee’s report on the role of Saudi Arabia in the attacks and its financial support has been kept secret.

“I am sad to report that today, some 12 years after we submitted our report, that those 28 pages continue to be withheld from the public,” Graham stated.

The former US Senator added that he was shocked by the fact that the US intelligence is keeping the report secret simply because it claims its disclosure would hurt the national security of the United States.

“I was stunned that the intelligence community would feel that it was a threat to national security for the American people to know who had made 9/11 financially possible.”

The former senator also said greater awareness of Saudi Arabia would change the way the US public view that country.

His comments came after US President Barack Obama paid a brief visit to Saudi Arabia, a regional US ally, to talk about the expansion of relations between Washington and Riyadh as well as support for militants in Syria.

American analyst Kevin Barrett says that 9/11 is not just a Saudi operation and that the governments of the US and Israel were also involved in the attacks.

Former US Senator Bob Graham has recently said a report on the role of Saudi Arabia in the attacks and its financial support has been kept secret for 12 years.

However, Barrett said “pointing the finger at Saudi Arabia alone is a limited hangout meaning that it could be used to try to avoid the real truth of the 9/11 which was that it was not just the Saudi operation, it was a US government-Israeli operation in which Saudi intelligence simply provided the patsies” to be blamed as hijackers.

“It was not just Saudi Arabia it was also, as I said, elements of the governments of the US and Israel,” Barrett, a member of Scientific Panel for the Investigation of 9/11, told Press TV on Monday.

According to Graham, “There were 28 pages in the final report, out of over 800 total, which were totally censored from.”

Barrett said that those 28 pages were kept secret on the orders of former president George W. Bush.

“The 28 plus pages of the joint congressional inquiry that was made into 9/11 by the US Congress that was classified by George W. Bush,” he noted.

He went on to say that “the Bush administration did not want an investigation but the family members forced them to create the 9/11 commission.”

Barrett also said that the attacks were not a hijacking incident but a military attack.

“There was in fact no hijacking in 9/11. It was a simulated hijacking and in fact it was a military attack.”

CIA killed Marshall for leaking 9/11 secrets: Dr. Kevin Barrett

Philip Marshall was killed in a black operation over confessing to having worked with CIA drug smugglers and the potential exposure of 9/11 secrets.

In the background to this, former US National Security Agency Officer Wayne Madsen says the 9/11 investigative author Philip Marshall and his children were killed in a “black ops hit” by the CIA, dismissing the suicide hypothesis. Marshall was afraid of being silenced for his revelations about 9/11, Madsen said, noting that a side door the investigator never used was wide open when his dead body was found. Marshall believed the former US President George Bush had pulled off the 9/11 attack to foment a government coup. In his fourth book, he was supposed to disclose blockbuster information.

Press TV has conducted an interview with Dr. Kevin Barrett, an American author and political expert in Madison, Wisconsin, to further discuss the issue. Barrett is joined by Lee Kaplan, investigative journalist from Berkley. (Lee Kaplans Identity revealed at end of this story). The following is an approximate transcription of the interview with Barrett.

Press TV: Mr. Barrett let’s start from the beginning. Do you think that Philip Marshall was murdered?

Barrett: When I heard about this I was actually attending the Hollywoodism conference in Tehran and it did sound very suspicious.

Philip Marshall had written the book called ‘The Big Bamboozle’ (The Big Bamboozle: 9/11 and the War on Terror), which outlines a lot of things about 9/11.

I don’t necessarily agree with all his conclusions about the details of 9/11, but he certainly was casting severe doubt on certain aspects of the official story and that did make his book somewhat dangerous.

But I think more importantly he had said to his friends and his associates, before he was killed, that he was sitting on a bomb-shell, some kind of information that was going to change everything and he was going to be publishing this in his next book.

So, that may have been a mistake to talk about that. So, when I heard about that I was very suspicious and did a little investigation and heard that there were some discrepancies.

But, it wasn’t until I interviewed former National Security Agency Officer Wayne Madsen, who is currently – I call him the thinking man’s Seymour Hersh, that is our leading investigative journalist for leaks from the national security community.

When Wayne told me about his week-long investigation, during which he flew out from the [US] East Coast, spent a whole week at the crime scene investigating and talking to neighbors, he discovered that there were all kinds of obvious indications that this had been a professional killing, not a murderous suicide.

Those include the fact that Philip Marshall we now know he was shot in the left temple and yet he was right handed?!

The police said that his house was far from neighbor’s houses, so none of the neighbors would have heard any gunshots.

In fact the neighbors were right on top of his house virtually and none of the neighbors heard gunshots.

There was a door that was left wide open, the door that Philip Marshall never used and was found wide open after his death.

There are a number of other indications including the cleanup of the crime scene, an illegal and unauthorized cleanup of the crime scene by an SUV (vehicle) with state of California plates, bristling with a communications antenna from the top.

So when we put all this together I think it’s pretty obvious that using Occam’s razor, the simplest explanation here is that this was some kind of black operations hit to prevent Philip Marshall from making public some kind explosive information.

Press TV: Well what about that Mr. Barrett, how likely is that to be a case. That it’s simply a case of some domestic dispute and the man decided to kill his children and himself because of a breakup?

Barrett: Well this is pretty hilarious I don’t know where you got this guy, but this is about the most, the lamest excuse for an attempt to debunk a conspiracy story that I’ve ever heard and I’ve heard a lot of them.

I’ve heard a lot of really bad ones, but this is the worst. This is quite hilarious.

This guy obviously has no grasp of the evidence around the Philip Marshall’s killing so he starts claiming that I have a website that has information about conspiracies.

He uses this pejorative term conspiracy theorist to try to say that any, you know, don’t listen to what I say.

This has nothing to do with the actual evidence of the event that we’re talking about and the reason why he’s distracting you and trying to divert your attention away from this case is because he knows he doesn’t have a case.

Everything he said about Philip Marshall, he could probably say about two thirds of the men in America right now.

They have a, you know, the teenage daughter, who was mad at him once and of course that’s preserved by our ubiquitous internet.

He’s having a problem with his wife; he’s in a divorce case. Half of American marriages end in divorce. This is the evidence you have against this man?

Press TV: Let’s get back to the main point of this.

I want to look at some of the things that Marshall was saying because he was at the editing phase of his latest book and he had said he was somewhat worried about his safety as some of the allegations accused the former administration; former President George W. Bush of working together with Saudi intelligence to carryout the 9/11 attacks.

I want to look at that aspect of what was said Kevin Barrett. What do you think of that actual allegation that Washington and Riyadh colluded on the 9/11 attacks?

Barrett: Well, you know, Riyadh has been a puppet of what we might call the Zio-American Empire for lack of a better term.

The real power structure in the world, the most powerful power structure in the world is the Federal Reserve and the military forces that it controls including the US military and Saudi Arabia ever since it signed an agreement with President Roosevelt in 1945, has been essentially allowing US leaders, which means international banker leaders to dictate our policy. To dictate oil prices.

So it’s true that whatever kind of black operations get Okayed by the top of the power pyramid here in the US are going to be obeyed and participated in by the Saudis.

I mean the Saudis can’t even fly their own planes for goodness sake.

You know, the US sells them war planes and the US has to supply pilots and maintenance people to run the planes.

You know, the Saudis are a pathetic puppet state.

So accusing the Saudis of involvement, sure they were involved, but the real power behind 9/11, was the New York conservative circles in the US, which is made of people who are fanatical partisans of the Likudnik vision of Greater Israel (Israeli Zionist Likudnik neocon regime).

Philip Marshall he spoke out about this in part, I think the reason that he was killed was that he was a drug pilot. He worked with a very sealed and notorious CIA drug smuggling pilot who confessed to having smuggled drugs for the CIA.

[He] confessed to having worked with Oliver North (a former United States Marine Corps lieutenant colonel) on that operation flying drugs through Mena-Arkansaw (city of Mena in Arkansas to the unincorporated place of Arkansaw in Wisconsin).

Having done that, having that kind of background, having participated with the CIA organized crime that’s just placed in New Orleans, which he wrote about in his first novel, I think it was lakeshore about the airport in New Orleans that he talked about where cocaine was coming in.

Somebody who’s that tied in to black operations, is not somebody that they’re going to allow to run around revealing destabilizing secrets.

Maybe they were just angry at him for his 9/11 works or maybe he had something…

Press TV: Mr. Barrett what’s your take on this, I mean the majority of our viewers have basically said that, pointing to the first one talking about caves that far away in Afghanistan, they could not have executed a mission like this.

I want to look at the actual situation that happened on 9/11 because that has been the question from the very beginning.

That so much of, you know we’re talking about the United States, which has a very very high security system in place and we’re talking about these airplanes even hitting the Pentagon, the most controlled airspace in the world, and coming from these people who were operating this out of Afghanistan in caves. Tell me your perspective on this.

Barrett: Well of course the official story of 9/11 is ridiculous on its face nobody would have accepted it as a novel and of course the official 9/11 commission report does read like a novel because it is a novel.

Philip Zelikow (a former US State Department counselor) who describes himself as an expert on the quote unquote “creation and maintenance of public myths”, such as the myth of the surprise Japanese attack that we weren’t expecting on Pearl Harbor (1941), drafted the entire 9/11 commission report chapter by chapter in outline form before the commission had even convened.

I suspect that that draft was probably the draft for the script of the operation itself.

Now it’s obvious that the official story is wrong if you just look at a couple of things.

One is the obvious controlled demolition of building 7 (World Trade Center building 7), which happened at 5:20 something in the afternoon on 9/11.

It was reported twenty minutes early by the BBC.

The owner of the World Trade Centre Larry Silverstein later he admitted that he had been involved in the decision to quote pull it or conduct a controlled demolition of building 7.

And yet he was, you know, in a mobbed up courtroom, he was able to get a double indemnity on his insurance money including nearly a billion dollars for building 7 alone, the building that he had admitted that he had demolished.

Another aspect is just obviously wrong about the official story is this notion that they could hit the pentagon, but at 9:35 in the morning when in fact the first planes had been supposedly noticed off course at 8:14 in the morning, almost an hour and a half earlier.

So for an hour and a half these supposedly hijacked airlines could just fly around anywhere they want to go, disappear from everyone’s radar screens and suddenly reappear out of nowhere over Washington DC and do an amazing stunt maneuver that that type of plane wasn’t even capable of – to put a tiny little hole surrounded by intact windows in only the first floor of the pentagon with not a scratch on the lawn.

The whole story is absurd and it doesn’t take that much digging to find that out.

9/11 families ‘ecstatic’ they can sue Saudi Arabia

Families of the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks have celebrated a federal court’s ruling that allows relatives of people who died in the attacks to sue Saudi Arabia.

The lawsuit states that much of the funding for the al-Qaeda terrorists involved in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon came from Saudi Arabia.

On Thursday, a three-judge federal panel of the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan, New York reversed a lower court ruling in 2002 that had found Saudi Arabia immune from lawsuits.

“I’m ecstatic…. For 12 years we’ve been fighting to expose the people who financed those bastards,” said William Doyle, the father of Joseph Doyle, 25, a Cantor-Fitzgerald employee who was killed in the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

“Christmas has come early to the 9/11 families. We’re going to have our day in court,” he told ABCNews.com.

The complaint, filed a decade ago by the Philadelphia firm Cozen O’Connor, accuses the Saudi government and members of the royal family of bankrolling al-Qaeda operations.

“This opinion is eminently correct and will give 9/11 victims their day in court,” said Stephen Cozen, a partner at the law firm.

Investigative journalists and independent researchers who have looked into the 9/11 attacks say the United States has covered up the kingdom’s involvement.

“The dust has not entirely settled over the causes of 9/11 but the heavy hand of our good friends, the Saudis, played a major role in that and it was covered up from the get-go,” Bill Jones, the Washington bureau chief for Executive Intelligence Review, told Press TV on Thursday.

He suggested that the US intelligence services may have been involved in the attacks “through their relations with the Saudis.”
