Army continued operations against the armed terrorist groups in many areas across the country on Tuesday, killing huge numbers of terrorists and destroying their hideouts, gatherings and weaponry.

Security restored to Assal al-Ward, Housh Arab in al-Qalamoun
Units of the Armed Forces restored security and stability to the town of Assal al-Ward in al-Qalamoun in Damascus Countryside , a military source announced .
The source said large numbers of terrorists were killed in the town, while the rest managed to run away.
Waving the national flags, residents of Assal al-Ward greeted the army members with flowers and rice.
Later, a military source told SANA that army units, in cooperation with National defense members restored security and stability to Housh Arab town after killing large number of terrorists, destroying their weapons and ammunition.
The source added that the town’s residents received soldiers of the Army with flowers and rice to express appreciation for the army’s sacrifices.

Army units inflict heavy losses upon terrorists in Damascus Countryside
A military source told SANA that the army units killed many terrorists in Rankous plain, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Another army units targeted a terrorists’ den in al-Zabadani city, destroying a car equipped with heavy machinegun.
The source added that other army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in the eastern farms of al-Mleiha town, dismantling many explosive devices which were planted by terrorists in the area.
It pointed out that the army units eliminated a number of terrorists in the area surrounding Tameco medicine company, including Alaa al-Tawel and Mohammad Mahjoub.
Other army units killed a number of terrorists in Jobar neighborhood, including Issam Awata.
In the same context, an army units clashed with terrorists in Harasta, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
Meanwhile, other army units carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Douma area, killing and injuring many terrorists.
Malek Qashou’a, Ghassan Saab and Akram Tou’meh were identified among the dead terrorists.
In Adra al-Balad area, an army unit killed all members of an armed terrorist group, including its leader Maher Zaito, in addition to destroying their equipment.
In another context, an engineering unit dismantled a booby-trapped car equipped with 100 Kg of explosives, which was parked in al-Zain street in al-Mouadamiyeh town.
Army units target terrorists’ gatherings in Lattakia countryside
A military source told SANA that the army units destroyed 3 rocket launch-pads, mortar launchers and a car loaded with weapons and ammunition, in addition to killing a number of non-Syrian terrorists in al-Nab’ain, al-Kuoz mountain and al-Fronluq natural reserve in the eastern countryside of Lattakia.
Army advances in Homs
Units of the armed force, in cooperation with the national defense forces, achieved significant progress in the old city of Homs and advanced towards the neighborhoods of Jouret al-Shayah, al-Hamidieyh, Bab Hood and Wadi al-Sayeh, according to a military source.
The source told SANA that numbers of terrorists were killed in those areas, with several of their dens destroyed.
Meanwhile, units of the armed forces eliminated scores of terrorists, in series of operations against their hideouts and gatherings in various areas in Homs countryside.
A military source in the province told SANA that the army units destroyed a number of cars equipped with heavy machineguns and a stolen fuel tank in the area of al-Houla.
The source added that the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Ein Hussein, al-Amryeh and al-Dar al-Kabira in Talbeseh, killing and injuring scores of terrorists and destroying a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun.
In the same context, A military source told SANA reporter that the army units continued their national duty in cleaning the neighborhoods of the old city of Homs, progressing in the sides of Joret al-Sheeah, Wadi al-Sayeh, al-Khaldiyeh, Bab Houd, Joub al-Jandali, Bab al-Sbaa’a, al-Qarabis and al-Wa’ar, after killing large number of terrorists and destroying their equipment.
Terrorists’ gatherings targeted in Lattakia countryside
Army units targeted several terrorists’ gatherings around al-Nessr Mountain in the northern countryside of Lattakia, leaving numbers of terrorists dead and injured. The terrorists’ weapons, including heavy machine guns, were destroyed.
Army eliminates terrorists, obliterates their gatherings in Idleb
Army units stormed a number of terrorists’ dens in Qminas town and the surrounding farms in the countryside of Idleb, killing many terrorists. Several cars equipped with heavy machine guns were destroyed.
A military source told SANA that the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Kifr Najd, al-Rami, Kifr Lata, Tal Isfeen, Tal Karima, al-Neirab, Failoun, al-Douseh, Sarmeen and al-Rouj.
The source added that a number of terrorists, many of them of the Uzbekistani nationality, were killed or injured in the process.
More terrorists killed in Aleppo
Numbers of terrorists were killed and others were injured in several areas in Aleppo, including al-Lairamoun, Kweires, al-Jadideh and the Industrial City, a military source told SANA.
The source noted that many of the terrorists’ dens in those areas were destroyed along with the weapons and ammunition inside.
Army units destroyed cars loaded with weapons and ammunition to the west of Aleppo Central Prison and in the villages and towns of al-Atareb, al-Mansoura, al-Raei, al-Bab, Babis and Kafr Dael. The terrorists inside the cars were killed.
Army ambushed terrorists, destroys their gatherings in Daraa
A military source told SANA that the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in the areas of Otman, Samleen and al-Nou’ema in Daraa countryside and killed and injured a number of terrorists.
The source added that the army also ambushed members of a terrorist group in the area near al-Yarmouk School, killing and injuring all of the group’s members. Another unit targeted terrorists’ vehicles in Daraa al-Balad and managed to kill and wounded a number of terrorists.
Meanwhile, other army units killed and injured large number of terrorists in Atman, Qaisyeh and Smaaj towns in the countryside, in addition to destroying their equipment.
Army units eliminate terrorists in several neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists including Hayan al-Wardi, Ziad Abdo Hilal, and Ala’a Eddin Ramadan and injured others in al-Rushdiye neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.
In al-Huwaiqa neighborhood, an army unit eliminated members of a terrorist group including Ahmad Asaad al-Dakhil and Marwan Hakem al-Ismail and injured others.
Other units eliminated a number of terrorists and injured others in the neighborhoods of al-Sina’a and al-Jbaileh, destroying their equipment. Among the dead terrorists were Wael Abdelrahman, Ashraf Ahmad Mohammad al-Bouali, and Ahmad Delli Mohammad al-Bouali.
