The battle of Old Homs continues and will be determined in days
Syrian Army has launched a military operation in old Homs, after the truce lasted weeks under an agreement between the authorities and the armed men which was under the supervision of the United Nations what resulted in evacuating more than 1,400 civilians and entering food and material aids.
Reporters from the ‘Syrian Arab News Agency’ quoted a military source as saying that Syrian Army units, in cooperation with the National Defense Forces, have achieved important successes in old Homs, pointing out that they are progressing on al-Hamidiah and Bab Hood and Wadi Al-Sayeh.
Fierce clashes have broken out in most fronts around Homs old city, along with bombardments implemented by the Syrian forces.
In Homs, units of the Syrian Army have confronted the mercenaries in Wadi al-Sayeh neighborhood, as 36 local militians have handed themselves over the authorities.
Jihadist groups sources have admitted that the Syrian Arab Army managed to control many blocks in Jouret Shiah and confessed that the battles were difficult, so the fighters were forced to withdraw.
Military sources expecting that the confrontation will end in a few days, in case the situation continues as it is and they estimated the number of armed mercenaries at 1300, some of al-Nusra Front and some brigades of “Free Army”.

SAA Army advances its control over Aleppo area
Reports from the Syrian ‘Breaking News Agency’ confirmed that yesterday evening Syrian Arab Army has repelled the mercenaries’ attempt to infiltrate Homs old city, while it has continued its battles on al-Ramousa front in Aleppo, amid reports about the advance of the Syrian Army’s infantry in the area.
Syrian Army forced the insurgents to retreat from al-Ramousa area (Aleppo) after severe clashes, followed the arrival of reinforcements to the Army in the area.
The Syrian Army also moved its military operations to al-America area, which is a stronghold for the terrorist armed men.

Meanwhile, army units in the northern countryside of Lattakia killed leader of Jabhat al-Nusra in Idleb among many other terrorists in the villages and towns of al-Zweik, Ein al-Dubleh, Jabal al-Louz, Khan al-Jouz, Burj al-Qasab, al-Frulluk and Dabseh compound and the surrounding of al-Nab’een police station and Syriatel communications tower.
Leaders of the so-called ‘Ahfad Aaesha Battalions’ and ‘Ahl al-Rebat’ were identified among the dead.
The terrorists’ vehicles which were equipped with heavy machine guns were destroyed in the operations.

In Idleb, many terrorists were killed and many others were injured in Kafrblata and Sarmin towns and in the surrounding of the Central Prison in the countryside of Idleb.
Armed terrorists eliminated in Daraa.
A military source told SANA that the army units left a number of terrorists killed and wounded in the towns and villages al-Sheikh Maskeen, Tseel, al-Naimeh and al-Msavfrah in Daraa countryside. Many terrorists criminal tools were also destroyed.
Workshop for making bombs and shells found in Damascus Countryside.
Army units uncovered a workshop for making explosive devices and rocket shells in the telephone center in Housh Arab in al-Qalamoun area, Damascus Countryside, according to SANA reporter.
The workshop was found to include large amounts of explosive materials and scores of explosive devices and shells, including car tires rigged with explosives.
SANA’s correspondent on the ground said that engineering units dismantled dozens of explosive devices planted by terrorists in homes, streets and near electric power poles, adding that the army also uncovered a field hospital containing a fully-equipped operations room and large amounts of medical supplies, some of them stolen and some of Saudi or Lebanese origin.
7 civilians killed in terrorist rocket attacks in Aleppo
Terrorist rocket attacks which hit a number of neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo on Thursday left 7 civilians dead, including 2 children, and 30 others injured.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that the residential neighborhoods of al-Sulaimaniyeh, al-Maidan and Maisaloun were targeted by the rocket shells.
The death toll of the rocket attacks was 7, in addition to 30 injured, some of those are in critical condition.
The dead included 2 children, according to the source.

Siria entrega a la ONU un video de los rebeldes preparando un ataque químico en Homs
El representante permanente de Siria ante la ONU, Bashar Jaafari, entregó al organismo internacional un video que demuestra que los rebeldes preparan un ataque en Homs contra un almacén donde hay armas químicas.
El objetivo de este ataque sería acusar luego al Gobierno sirio del crimen, indicó Jaafari citado por la agencia Itar-Tass.
“En el video se ven imágenes de cómo preparan un camión con 7 toneladas de trinitrotolueno y explosivos C-4, también se puede observar a un terrorista suicida de Jordania. El blanco del ataque es una instalación en Homs, donde hay almacenadas armas químicas, la misma de donde aún no es posible evacuar las armas químicas por cuestiones de seguridad”, dijo el diplomático.
Asimismo el representante sirio ante la ONU, señaló que el video fue publicado en el sitio web de la red terrorista Al Qaeda.
Jaafari recordó también que anteriormente entregó a las Naciones Unidas y al Consejo de Seguridad, material sobre una conversación radiotelefónica entre dos terroristas, quienes discutían sobre otro ataque químico a las afueras de Damasco.
El diplomático destacó que detrás de estas acciones de la oposición siria están Arabia Saudita, Catar y Turquía, así como otros países occidentales.
Además, Jaafari mostró su preocupación de que los rebeldes posean misiles antitanque BGM-71 TOW, y señaló que, “sin duda”, EE.UU. está involucrado en esto. “Es imposible que alguien se atreviera a suministrar este armamento de fabricación estadounidense sin el consentimiento de Washington”, agregó.
