Hilan town recaptured

Syrian Army units recaptured Hilan town, near the Central Prison in Aleppo, and are advancing towards the surrounding areas after tightening control of the prison.

The army have started sweeping the town for explosive devices and booby traps after having inflicted heavy losses upon the armed terrorist groups.

Intense activities by the Syrian army in all areas adjacent to the central prison under siege by terrorists.

Different sources report of the imminent release of the prison by his long siege.

It seems that at least one unit of the Syrian army broke through and reached the prison.

Anyway, the battle is furious in the area and various units of special forces are involved.

Terrorist Gangs Annihilated

Large-scale military operations were carried out Wednesday against terrorists in several areas around the country, where dozens of terrorists were killed, and injured and their weapons were destroyed.

Infiltrating attempts foiled, terrorists’ dens destroyed in Aleppo

 Army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempts from al-Rashideen al-Owla towards al-Sweiqa in Aleppo, killing many terrorists, injuring others and destroying two of their armored vehicles.

A military source said that army units carried out several operations on the axis of the industrial city, the surrounding area of Aleppo central prison, Handarat, Hreitan, Kafar Saghir, Kafar Naha, the surrounding area of the Infantry College, al-Kastello, Baidin, Jandoul, Azaz, al-Atareb, Mare’, Daret Ezza and Andan, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.

Other army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Bustan al-Qaser and al-Rashideen, killing all the terrorists inside and destroying their machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Army and law-enforcement units established control over Hagop citadel in Aleppo countryside, destroying a number of tunnels, trenches, and fortifications set up by terrorists.

Terrorists’ vehicles killed in Daraa

Army units destroyed terrorists’ dens in the surrounding area of al-Abbasa Bakery and the communication department, Sajna neighborhood and to the south of al-Khalil Mosque in Daraa city, killing many of the terrorists and destroying their vehicles.

A military source said that army units killed members of an armed terrorist group while setting up a fortified position, in addition to killing a sniper man in Inkhel town in Daraa countryside, destroying several machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Other army units also killed many terrorists and injured others in Atman town and the surrounding area of al-Aswad mosque, destroying their vehicles and weapons.

Three terrorists’ vehicles including a fuel tank were destroyed in Kherbet Jamra town, killing all the terrorists inside, as another army unit killed many terrorists in Jadal village and destroyed the terrorists’ weapons and ammunition.

Army eliminates non-Syrian terrorists in Damascus Countryside

SANA reporter quoted sources as saying that the army targeted terrorists in the areas of Joubar and Zamalka, killing and injuring score of terrorists, among the killed terrorists were Mohammad Amreen, leader of the so-called “al-Baraa Brigade” and Mamdouh al-Refa’e.

The army targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Adra Workers City and Douma, killing a number of terrorists, among them was Rateb Ma’eka.

The army carried out several operations against the armed terrorist groups in the areas of al-Mleiha, Khan al-Sheeh, al-Abbasa and Nasleh Street, killing huge numbers of terrorists and destroying their vehicles weaponry and ammunition. Terrorists Abu al-Saraqeb, of the Saudi nationality, Abu Talha of the Jordanian nationality and Abdo al-Hashash were identified among the dead.

The army pursued terrorists in many areas in Daraya city and made direct hits on them.

A military source told SANA that the army seized a 10m-deep tunnel in Haratsa, adding that the army eliminated all terrorists who were in it.

Army eliminates terrorists in Idleb

The army units targeted terrorist groups in the areas of Tal Salmo, Abu al-Dohour and Talab in Idleb countryside, killing and injuring scores of terrorists, among the killed terrorists were Walid al-Bakri and Abboud al-Malek.

A military source said that the army targeted armed terrorist group in the areas of Jisr al-Shughour, Kanasfara, najlyeh and Kifr najd in Idleb countryside, scores of terrorists were eliminated in the process.

Army kills terrorists in Homs

The army units clashed with terrorists in the areas of Taldo, Kifr Laha, Aqrab, al-Nasseryeh, Tal Dahab, Jisr al-Kharab and al-Wa’er in Homs. Scores of terrorists were killed or injured in the process

Military Photojournalists killed during the coverage of the army’s operation in Daraa.

Photographer of the Political Administration, Hassan Omran, was killed during the coverage of the army’s pursuit of the armed terrorist groups in Daraa.

Omran was killed by the terrorists’ bullet while he was performing his field duties in Nawa, Daraa.  Cameramen of the Political Administration are accompanying the army’s operations against the armed terrorist groups since more than three years ago.

Mortar shells injure 5 in Idleb

Meanwhile, a fresh wave of terrorist mortar attacks on Tuesday left a number of civilians injured in several provinces.

Two mortar shells fired by terrorists landed in the surrounding of the Education Directorate in Idleb city, causing injury to five civilians, a Police Command source said.

Civilian injured by mortar shell in Damascus

One civilian was injured when terrorists fired a mortar shell on al-Dweila neighborhood in Damascus.

A source at Damascus Police Command said that the shell landed on a roof of a house in Dweila neighborhood, injuring a civilian and causing material damage.

Two civilians killed, three injured in terrorist mortar attack in Damascus Countryside

Two civilians were killed and three were injured when terrorists fired three mortar shells on the town of al-Kisweh in Damascus Countryside.

A source at the Police Command said that the shells fell on al-Masaken area in the town, killing two, wounding three, and causing material damage to a number of houses and cars.
