Higher Judicial Committee for Elections: No problems marred electoral process
Chairman of the Higher Judicial Committee (HJCE) for Elections Hisham al-Shaar said Wednesday that the electoral process (of the Presidential elections held Tuesday) in Syria went smoothly with no problems, irregularities or violations reported so far.
Al-Shaar said that the subcommittees have counted the votes as the time period for elections ended at 12:00 at midnight and finished the process.
At a press conference held at the Justice Ministry building in Damascus, al-Shaar added that the judicial subcommittees handed the results to the Higher Elections Committee.
Al-Shaar added that the delegations which followed up the electoral process have entered the election centers they chose and they inspected firsthand how elections are going on.
He said that the Syrians have expressed their feeling of responsibility in face of the global attack and events targeting Syria through participating the presidential elections.
Syrian people have proved their patriotism and keen interest in choosing the one who will get them out of the current crisis, he pointing out.
Al-Shaar scoffed at Western skepticism over the electoral process, describing it as “irrelevant” after the Syrians have had their say.

I want to thank the people of Syria for their determination to win their fight against the enemy and their patriotic President and there victorious army.
We the rest of the world owe a lot to Syria, for their success. I do not want to think what would happen if those agents of evil from the zionist enemy ever took control of the great land of Syria, with the many religions and the wealth of history which brings the old world together. It would be a tragedy for all mankind, if that would had happen.
Syria won, and the thousands of years of proud history from a proud people continues.
I am a Hellene(Greek), and my Nation as well as my people are in the struggle for survival from the same enemy, and the enemy is also within Hellas(Greece) it is in the government in the education, anywhere where there is money to be made.

My heart is with all the good people in Syria and else where, that are fighting the good fight.
Stay strong warriors.
Congratulations to the incumbent candidate, Dr. Bashar Hafez al-Asaad for the landslide victory in the most meaningful presidential election. It is mandatory for Syria to hold the presidential election to enable Syrians to exercise their rights to elect their next president and to give the new president-elect, Dr. Bashar Hafez al-Asaad, a new mandate as Syrian President. The indisputable verdict handed down by the Syrian voters is a slap in the face for Obama The Disgraceful, and Kerry The Meaningless. Both are now getting desperate and hysterical and running around and pleading and conspiring with the EU and NATO to cause more death destruction everywhere. Obama and Kerry and their evil zionist AXIS OF EVIL and their puppets, go to hell!!
Felicidades por la victoria del Presidente al-Assad. La elección del libre pueblo sirio no ha podido ser mejor.
PATRIA. HONOR. ORGULLO. DECENCIA.

¡ Viva Siria al-Assad !
The enemy of mankind will never give up. History proof they are cold blood killers so they can stay “on top” … As Mr. William Hague says: “The UK is increasing its support to those seeking a genuine political settlement in Syria, including by backing the moderate opposition and their vision for Syria of true democracy, pluralism and respect for human rights” …
He blatantly lies. Also he has so much blood on his hands and is guilty of so much wrongdoing in Syria, he can’t change course because it would mean admitting the evil he has done.
unfortunately you’re right and we will soon see new attacks and new attempts to overthrow President al-Assad and massacre the Syrian patriots … Judah has his plans, and Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian army are an obstacle for him.
Resistance, until the final victory … we’ll give Judah the rope to hang himself…
to the much “hammered” people of Syria we say- o you brave resistance you have chosen and it is you who decided that Dr Bashar Al Assad lead you. congratulations to you and your brave choice.
who the hell is that revolting ignorant idiotis fool in satanic house to tell you who your “choice” is/should be.
we leave you with the wise intelligent words of
Western focus on ‘delegitimizing’ Syria election
by Sharmine Narwani
Sharmine Narwani (nsnbc) : Of course these Syrian presidential elections must be the ‘parody’ and ‘farce’ that Western officials and media are relentlessly claiming.
txt of interest:
Legitimacy can only be conferred by the citizens within a nation – this is never an issue that can be decided by foreigners outside a country, no matter how much the headlines blare it to sway perception.
Farce? Parody? Tell it to Abe Lincoln. And then go mind your own business.
That’s the thing about elections, they tell a very particular story. You can choose not to listen, you can toy with the tale, but you can’t change the ending.
Go Syria! Ya know, whenever I see these elections where people really, really, REALLY struggle to cast their ballots, I get choked up. Americans, what with weeks and weeks of early voting can’t seem to find their way to the local library, supermarket or mall where they can cast their ballot with no strain or threat of any kind – – and that makes me wanna puke. Never forget, Syria, that you’ve proven your right to exist with this election; every Syrian citizen can stand tall among the peoples of the other nations who have cast their ballots at the risk of their lives, and you don’t have to take any guff from anyone. NOT ANYONE! Go forward, and become the nation that we might have been. Blessings be upon you all, and best wishes going forward.
Reblogged this on O.K. look, here's the deal. and commented:
Bashar Al Assad is reelected president of Syria with over ten million votes, almost 89% of votes received. Foreign governments and the UN discount this vote because of the ongoing war in Syria, despite the fact that they encouraged and even carried out elections during wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Oh the hypocrisy. Western governments and media claim the Syrian people were forced to vote for Bashar Al Assad. I say, “Even the Syria citizens around the world who voted at embassies or even flew to Syria to vote?” Forced to vote? I say, “Were they forced to smile and laugh and dance in the streets to celebrate the president’s sweeping reelection. There were 22 million citizens living in Syria before the war. According to election results, almost 60% of Syrian citizens voted yesterday. That number would have been vastly larger had Western nations not blocked the votes of Syrians living overseas. And still, that number exceeds the voter turnout of many past presidential elections in the United States. The people of Syria have spoken. They have voted to reelect President Bashar Al Assad. Will the world listen? Will the US, Saudi Arabia and other nations respect the choice of the Syrian people or will they continue to send foreign fighters money, supplies and weapons to continue their bid for regime change? Does democracy choose a leader through the ballot box, or on the battlefield? The Syrian people have spoken. May their decision be respected by all.
