Dozens Palestinians, included mother and son, murdered in Israeli raids
GAZA – The death toll of Palestinian citizens killed in Israeli air strikes in Gaza has gone up to 30 so far following the death of Palestinian elderly, a father and his son, a mother and her child, and another minor in a wave of Israeli air strikes targeting civilians’ homes and lands overnight Tuesday and at dawn Wednesday.
Palestinian rescue personnel retrieved the body of Palestinian elderly Naifa Muhammad Farj Allah, 85, from beneath the ruins of her home, reduced to rubble by a barrage of air raids launched by Israeli F16 jets, Palestinian medics reported.
Ghazi Abu Tama’s home in Deir al-Balah and Abu Nkira’s, in al-Shaboura neighborhood, were destroyed by another round of Israeli strikes.
Meanwhile, the Israeli jets razed a Palestinian home north of Gaza to the ground.
A number of Palestinian cultivated land lots in al-Zaitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza, and al-Breij refugee camp, in central Gaza Strip, have been rocked by Israeli raids.
Palestinian medical sources further kept record of the murder of Palestinian citizen Abd Naser Abu Kwik, 60, and his 29-year-old son, Khaled in the wave of brutal raids launched near Wadi Gaza, northwest of al-Nusairat camp.
Palestinian 17-year-old boy Muhammad Tayseer Ayesh was rushed to hospital after he sustained severe wounds in the raids.
The brutal Israeli raids took away the life of a 13-year-old child, identified as Muhamamd Arif, east of Gaza, Health Ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra reported.
The ministry further documented the death of Palestinian lady Sahar Hamdan al-Masri, 40, and her 14-year-old child Ibrahim al-Masri in an Israeli raid that struck civilians’ homes in Beit Hanoun, bringing the death toll of Palestinian civilians killed overnight Tuesday and early Wednesday to 30 casualties so far.
In a related event, violent clashes broke out at dawn Wednesday in Sakhnin city, in 48 occupied Palestine, between the Israeli police forces and Palestinian civilians who voiced their disapproval over Israeli aggressions on Gaza.
Policemen attacked the protestors with tear gas canisters and random gunshots. Several others were rounded up as they joined the demo.
Another series of protest rallies denouncing Israeli war on Gaza was staged in Haifa, Kafr Kara, and Jaffa, among many other cities. Arrests have been reported throughout.
