Syrian military Sources: the Zionist occupier shot down a Syrian combat aircraft which was in combat against terrorist groups

Syrian military source: the Zionist entity that occupies the Syrian Golan shot down a MiG-21 military jet Syrian

A military source said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupier has attacked and shot down a Syrian fighter aircraft.

According to the source, the new Israeli aggression is a clear act of support that Israel is offering to terrorist organizations Daash-ISIL and al-Nusra, and is a clear violation of Resolution No. 2170.

Syria slams Israel support for ISIL

Syria has once again slammed the Israeli regime’s support for the takfirist mercenary terrorists of different gangs operating inside the Arab country.

A Syrian military official made the comments on Tuesday after Tel Aviv said earlier in the day that it had shot down a Syrian warplane.

The official confirmed the shooting down and underlined that the move was based on Tel Aviv’s policy of supporting Daash-ISIL Takfiris.

The aircraft was a MiG-21 fighter jet which was downed by a surface-to-air Patriot missile, the Army radio said, adding that the wreckage landed on the Syrian side of the plateau.

However, an unnamed Israeli military official identified the downed aircraft as a Sukhoi Su-24 Russian fighter plane.

The development comes amid heavy clashes on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights. The Syrian government has been hitting back at the foreign-backed militants there with frequent airstrikes.

According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies — especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey — are supporting the mercenary terrorist gangs against the Syrian government.

Golan Heights have been under the Israeli occupation since the 1960s.

Syria: Israel still defies international community, making use of support offered by some UN member states

Geneva – Syria’s permanent envoy to the UN in Geneva, ambassador Hussam al-Din Ala said that the UN has persisted to call on Israel to end its occupation of the Syrian Golan and the Palestinian lands since 1967, including Jerusalem, stop its settlement polices and its aggressive practices against civilians under occupation, but Israel still defies the international community, dealing recklessly with the UN resolutions.

“Israel makes use of the support offered by a number of UN members states, therefore, it goes on in perpetrating violations of the human rights in the occupied Arab lands, rejecting to yield to the international human law as it still violates the simplest human rights, starting from the right of life, education, work and health, reaching to the right of sovereignty on natural resources,” Ala recited Syria statement at a deliberation session under the 7th item on the Human rights council.

He added it seems that Israel’s greed and ambition didn’t stop at the limits of consolidating its occupation of the Syrian Arab Golan, but it moved today to encourage and facilitate the flow of the terrorist organizations, including Jabhat al-Nusra, into the Disengagement zone and attack members of the UNDOF, seeking to evacuate the region from the peace-keeping forces.

Ala affirmed that the UN Secretary General’s report, issued on September 12, on the UNDOF, confirmed those facts as it reported that UNDOF noticed contacts between the armed terrorist organizations and Israeli occupation forces through the cease-fire line near post 85.

He added that the report, confirmed by UNDOF, gives an explanation on the reasons behind Israel’s support to those terrorists, encouraging them to attack the Syrian Arab army and UNDOF members to end any international monitoring on the Israeli practices.

US airstrikes kill 11 Syrian civilians in north-Aleppo province

11 civilians, including four children, were killed in the airstrikes in the northern province of Aleppo, carried out by the US military and its allies against targets inside the Syrian territory.

The aerial attacks also targeted areas in the east of the country. Positions held by terrorists from the al-Nusra Front and the ISIL were reportedly targeted.

On Monday night, Pentagon spokesman, Rear Admiral John Kirby, said in a statement that the US army and “partner nation forces are undertaking military action against…terrorists in Syria using a mix of fighter, bomber and Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles.”

Damascus says any strikes by foreign forces against militant strongholds in Syria must be carried out with the consent of the Syrian government.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement released early on Tuesday that Washington (…after a pressing intervention of Putin at the UN…) had informed Syria’s permanent ambassador to the United Nations that airstrikes would be launched against the ISIL terrorists in Syria.

We do not forget that Washington has supported various armed mercenary factions of terrorists operating against the Syrian government since March 2011.

Many Daesh-ISIL terrorists have reportedly been trained by the CIA in Jordan and Turkey.

Daash-ISIL mercenary terrorists, as many other terrorist gangs, are also reportedly been supported by the governments of Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Daash kills hundreds of Iraqi troops with chem. gas

Iraqi lawmakers say the ISIL Takfiri militants have killed hundreds of army soldiers in a chemical gas attack in the country’s Anbar province.

The lawmakers say the militants used chlorine gas against an army battalion in the Saq-lawia district in the town of Fallujah. They say at least 3-hundred soldiers were killed in that assault. It’s not yet clear when the deadly incident took place.

The Takfiri terrorists are responsible for numerous crimes against people and security forces in Iraq and Syria.

Meanwhile, Iraqi army officials say at least 40 soldiers have been killed in clashes with the terrorists in the Sijir area in Anbar province.

Officials say the terrorists have also captured nearly 70 other troopers, who have likely been transferred to Fallujah.
