Dozens of Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorists were killed by Hezbollah and the National Defense Forces at Wadi Ajram on the Qalamoun Mountains.
The NDF backed Hezbollah at Wadi Ajram, alleviating the embattled soldiers in the western part of the valley. Fighting is still ongoing.
Simultaneously, the Syrian Arab Army carried out a military operation in eastern Faleeta, killing numbers of mercenaries and destroying their heavy weapons. Among the terrorist’s corpses there were 3 foreigners: Abu Fahd Al-Leebi (Libyan), Mustafa ‘Abdel-Lateef Mansour (Lebanese), and Nouraldeen ‘Ayman Al-Kurdi (Field commander from Iraq).
According to reports from a military source in the Qalamoun Mountains, Jabhat Al-Nusra and Daesh continue to enter Syria, despite the effort of the Lebanese Army in contrasting them. At the same time, the Syrian Air Forces have increased the reconnaissance missions, due to the increasing smuggling of weapons through the Lebanese-Syrian border.
During the military operations in the Qalamoun Mountains, Abu Musa’ab Waladi, terrorist leader affiliated to Jabhat Al-Nusra, has been killed by Hezbollah fighters near the village of Rankous.
Abu Musa’ab last year was arrested by the Lebanese Army for smuggling weapons. After his release from prison, Abu Musa’ab left Lebanon and rejoined Jabhat Al-Nusra gangs, fighting against the Lebanese Army in Arsal District.
The Syrian Arab Army is now on the outskirts of Hajar Al-Aswad, preparing the siege of this strategic area south of Damascus.
According to a military source in the West Ghouta, the majority of 90,000 civilians that once populated Hajar Al-Aswad have fled from the city since the entry of the mercenary gangs, 2 years ago.
Hama countryside
At least 30 Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists were killed and many more wounded in an ambush of the Syrian army in Hama countryside.
Meantime, the army troops stormed the hideouts of the rebels in the areas of al-Latamneh, al-Qastal al-Westani, Uqaribat, Souha and Tal Salmah in Hama, leaving scores of them dead and injured.
