Syrian government forces have engaged foreign-sponsored gangs of mercenary terrorists during different military operations in the south of the country, killing over 100 criminals.
A military source said Syrian troops killed 47 terrorists of the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front in Mashara village, in the strategic southwestern province of Quneitra, 60 kilometers south of Damascus, on Saturday.
Another 40 terrorists were killed in a fierce exchange of fire between a gang of criminals and Syrian army soldiers in the village of Ibta, in the southwestern Dara’a Province.
Syrian government troops also killed 30 foreign-backed mercenaries in the town of Da’el, in Dara’a p[rovince, on Saturday.
