31/1/2015 ~ The Syrian Arab Army continued crushing operations against terrorist organizations on Friday and Saturday, repelling their attacks on military posts, resulting in the death of scores of terrorists and the destruction of several of their vehicles.
Army units eliminated a number of ISIS terrorists, injured others, and destroyed their hideouts and eight vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in the areas of al-Maryaiye and its farms, al-Shouleh, al-Mayadin, Huwaijet Saqr, Kabajeb, al-Jafra, east of Ayyash village, and near the Deir Ezzor-Palmyra road, in addition to destroying a boat transporting terrorists on the Euphrates River.
Army units targeted terrorists in al-Jafra and al-Mrei’iyeh in the countryside of the eastern province of Deir Ezzor, killing and injuring many of them.
Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and three vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns, and killed and injured a number of terrorists in the areas of al-Bouomar, al-Maryaiye, al-Rushdiye, and al-Sina’a in Deir Ezzor.
Units of the army and armed forces destroyed several gatherings and hideouts for terrorists in al-Qastal al-Tahtani, Aydoun, al-Latamina and Hamadi Omar in the countryside of the central province of Hama.
Army units destroyed an armored vehicle and three vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns, and killed a number of terrorists in Hamadi Omar.
Army units pursued terrorists in the southern part of the Eastern Ghouta area, killing many of them in the farms of Deir al-Asafir and Zebdin.
In Jobar area, an army unit destroyed a terrorist hideout along with the weapons and ammo inside it east of Maysaloun Roundabout, killing and injuring a number of terrorists, while more terrorists were killed and their weapons were destroyed east of Taameh building in the town of Zamalka at the outskirts of Eastern Ghouta.
Another army unit clashed with terrorists near Abu al-Sideek Mosque in Harasta area, killing a number of terrorists including Ayman Dahdouh, and destroying their weapons and ammo.
In the town of Daraya, an army unit clashed with terrorists southeast of Sayyeda Sukaina Shrine, killing and injuring a number of them, while another unit destroyed a vehicle along with the weapons and ammo inside it and killed three terrorists in al-Hajar al-Aswad east of Daraya.
In al-Kisweh area, an army unit destroyed a number of terrorist hideouts and left many terrorists dead or injured in the town of al-Tibeh.
Units of the army and armed forces killed terrorists and destroyed some of their vehicles in Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside.
In the northern part of al-Qalamoun area, the army killed a number of terrorists and injured others outside the towns of al-Jebbeh and al-Mashrafeh which are located 10 km and 7 km from the Lebanese borders, respectively.
Popular defense groups assisted by the authorities arrested two terrorists, killed four others, and confiscated eight assault rifles in a raid on terrorist hideouts near al-Tadamon area. Terrorist organizations’ social networks pages acknowledged the death of two of its members, Nawras Samara and Mustafa Hamdi, in the area.
An army unit eliminated a number of terrorists on the road between al-Ghariyat and al-Hirak in Daraa’s eastern countryside, resulting in the destruction of several motorbikes and a truck along with the weapons and ammo inside.
Terrorist organizations’ social networking pages acknowledged the death of several of its members in Daraa including Bassel Marwan al-Zoubi after he was transported to a hospital in Jordan.
The army clashed with terrorists in a number of areas in Daraa countryside, killing and injuring large numbers of them and establishing control over areas north of Miskeen city.
A military source said that army unit killed and injured all members of a terrorist group west of Atman in Daraa countryside, adding that other army units established control over areas north of al-Sheikh Miskeen after eliminating large numbers of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.
The source added that an army unit eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group that was trying to infiltrate the road linking Sweida and Nasibin border crossing with Jordan.
Army units destroyed three vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns used by terrorists and killed many terrorists in the villages of Oum al-Rish, al-Mhsairfeh, Salam Sharqi, and Mas’ada in Homs’ eastern countryside.
Other units continued pursuing terrorists in Jeb al-Jarrah area 80 km east of Homs city, while another unit repelled a terrorist attack on military points in Talbiseh 13 km north of Homs, resulting in the death of several terrorists.
On a relevant note, terrorists fired rocket shells from Oum al-Rish village at the village of Khattab and from Ein Hussein village on Ein al-Dananir village, causing material damages.

A Unit of Army and Armed Forces killed several terrorists and destroyed their equipment in Um Sharshoh, killing a number of terrorists.
Another Army unit eliminated many terrorists and destroyed a weapons and ammo cache in al-Hilalia Farm 18km northwest of Homs city.

In al-Shandakhania al-Janobia and Jub al-Jarah, many terrorists were killed and others injured and their weaponry and ammo destroyed, a military source said.
SANA reporter in Hasaka said an army unit crushed a den belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) along with the terrorists inside it in Tal Brak in the northern countryside of the northeastern province.
Army units destroyed two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns which were used by terrorists in Tal Salmo area in the eastern part of Idleb province, leaving many terrorists dead or injured.

Terrorist organizations’ social networking pages acknowledged the death of several of its members in Idleb province, including Abu Asid al-Jazrawi, Abdelmajid Ahmad al-Hbeish, Mohammad Khaled Hosrom, Ahmad Abdelqader Wahbi, Abdelrahim Shoushan, Ahmad al-Abdo, Ahmad Haitham Haj Mousa, Anas Dabbas, Abdelkarim Haj Ahmad, Omar Abdelhalim Alious, and Yousef Yehea Qerbi, while activists said that a leader of the so-called Islam Army known as Abu al-Hassan al-Turki was killed in al-Arbayeen Mountain.
Units of the army and armed forces thwarted at dawn terrorist attacks launched against military posts in Jabal al-Arbaeen area in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb.
A military source confirmed that the army units repelled the attackers, killing large numbers of them and leaving others wounded.
Three vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns, an armored vehicle and a bulldozer which the terrorists used in their attack were destroyed.

The source confirmed the death of many terrorists and the destruction of their weaponry and vehicles north of Jisr al-Shugour and south of Ariha which was targeted by terrorist mortars that caused civilian injuries.
Army units targeted terrorist organizations’ dens and gatherings, inflicting direct losses upon the terrorists in Mazaraf, Kansafra, Ayn Lazor and Sarja villages in al-Zawia Mountain area.
Another Army units destroyed many hideouts and dens for terrorists in Hazazin and al-Habeit in Ma’aret al-Numan area.

Army units eliminated a large number of terrorists and destroyed caches containing rockets and mortar shells and vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns in Marj Shili, Ghmam, Kitf al-Rumman, al-Sukariyeh, Rabi’a and Kensabba in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

The source said that large numbers of terrorists were killed in these operations, including Abu Bakr al-Muhajer from Chechnya, Mahmoud al-Haj Jouma, Khaled al-Hussein, Marwan Sukkaryeh, Omar al-Tabba’, Mohammad al-Saeed and Ahmad Zaydan.
Three civilians killed, one a child, in terrorist attacks in Aleppo and Hama
Two residential neighborhoods in the northern city of Aleppo were targeted Saturday by terrorists, with a child getting killed.
SANA quoted a Police Command source as saying that terrorists who are positioned in Bustan al-Qasr neighborhood fired gunshots at residents in al-Mashareqa neighborhood, killing a child.
A civilian was also reported injured as a rocket shell fired by terrorists fell in al-Ameriyeh neighborhood in central Aleppo city, the source added.
The rocket attack in al-Ameriyeh also caused material damage.
Meanwhile, terrorist rocket and roadside bomb attacks took place in areas in the countryside of the central province of Hama, killing two civilians and leaving 8 others injured, according to the Police Command in the province.
Terrorists targeted residential neighborhoods in Mharda city with several rocket shells, leaving a 33-year-old woman dead and 7 other civilians injured, in addition to causing material damage to a number of houses and cars.
A 3-year-old child was among the injured.
In the countryside of al-Salamiyeh city, terrorists fired two rocket shells on al-Quneitrat town, causing material damage to a number of cars and shops.
In another context, terrorists detonated an explosive device they had earlier planted on a dirt road west of Taldara town in al-Salamiyeh while a car was passing by, killing a civilian and seriously injuring another.
