Army advances in al-Zabadani, destroys Jabhat al-Nusra dens in southern areas
(SANA 30/03/2015) ~ Army units killed on Monday scores of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and destroyed several of their hideouts in Quneitra and Daraa as the crackdown against terrorist organizations continued in other provinces, with the army advancing in al-Zabadani in Damascus Countryside.
Damascus Countryside
Units of Army and Armed Forces continued their military operations against the terrorists of Jabhet al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in Damascus Countryside.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army established full control over 1715 site, after eliminating the last gatherings of terrorist organizations in the area following a series of successful operations in the western mountains of al-Zabadani, leaving scores of terrorists dead.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of tens of their members in al-Zabadani. Faysal Ma’mon Burhan, Mahmoud assim hamdan, Ra’fat Murad, Anas al-Magribi, tarek Okar were identified among the dead.
In al-Qalamon Mountains, media sources reported that around 13 Jabhit al-Nusra members were killed in the outskirts of Falita. Ali Hakoum and Jihad Abad al-Aziz Saleh were identified among the dead.
Homs
Military operations continued against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the far east of the central Homs province, leaving many terrorists killed and their vehicles and weapons destroyed in Unq al-Hawa town and the village of Rahhoum, according to a military source.
The army also killed terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in the villages of Hawadit, al-Salehiya, Masaada, al-Msheirfeh and in Jeb al-Jarrah in the eastern countryside of the province.
An army unit carried out a concentrated operation against terrorists’ gatherings in the surrounding area of Taldo village, where dozens of terrorists were killed or injured.
Quneitra
The countryside of Quneitra province witnessed intensive army operations on dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in which a number of terrorists were killed and injured and three of their dens were destroyed along with their arms and ammunition in Ain al-Baida to the northwest of Tal al-Ahmar.
An army unit destroyed mortar launchers used by Jabhat al-Nusra and killed a number of its members in Mashara village to the north of the strategic al-Harra hill area between Daraa and Quneitra countryside.
Other units destroyed two dens of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and the so called “Fajr al-Islam” brigade and “al-Furqan brigades,” killing a number of terrorists in Beir Ajam and al-Braiqa villages to the southeast of Quneitra city.
Daraa
A number of terrorists from Jabhet al-Nusra were killed and others were injured during a concentrated operation by the Syrian Arab Army against their dens to the west of Jleen village near al-Yarmouk valley to the west of Daraa city.
An army unit directed a strike on positions of terrorists from Jabhet al-Nusra and other extremist terrorist groups under their leadership, resulting in killing a number of them and destroying their arms and ammunition in Dael town to the north of Daraa, a military source told SANA.
The source added that after monitoring terrorists’ movements, an army unit killed a number of terrorists and injured others to the northwest of Salmeen town that is considered a connecting point between terrorist concentrations.
Another unit destroyed a concentration of terrorists along with their arms and ammunition and killed a number of their members in the big square in Tafas town near the Jordanian border.
Other units killed a number of terrorists in the surrounding of al-Manshia park, al-Yarmouk school, the guidance unit and an area to the east of old customs building in Daraa al-Balad.
Another army unit destroyed a den in which leaders of terrorist organizations were gathered in Busra al-Cham city in the eastern countryside of the province.
The army targets more terrorist positions, including for ISIS
(SANA 29/3/2015) ~ Units of the army and armed forces on Sunday carried out military operations against Takfiri terrorist organizations’ hideouts and gathering in many areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
Damascus Countryside
Army units advanced towards Duhour al-Baydal hill overlooking Zabadani city after a series of concentrated strokes that left many terrorists from Jabhet al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Cham terrorist organizations dead, while other terrorists fled as the army seized their equipment and armaments.
SANA’s field correspondent said that army operations in Douma area, specifically in the farms of Talk Kurdi and al-Rihan north and northeast of Douma city, killed and injured 13 terrorists from Islam Army and Ajnad al-Cham and destroyed their weapons and ammo.
Activists from Douma city said that terrorist organizations there announced the death of 10 of their members in the Eastern Ghouta area, including Ahmad Othman.
In Harasta, clashes between an army unit and terrorists east of al-Thanawia roundabout and near Salaheddin Mosque left many terrorists dead and others injured, while three terrorists were killed and others were injured in al-Zamaniye farms.
Another army unit eliminated all members of a terrorist group in an ambush while the terrorists were attempting to sneak from the Eastern Ghouta towards al-Dmeir area.
Hasaka
Units of the army fired artillery against gatherings and dens of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization in the villages of Mafraq al-Siddiq, Raharf farm and Tawq al-Milh, 20 km to the west of Hasaka city, according to SANA reporter.
Large numbers of ISIS terrorists were killed and injured in the artillery fire, while several vehicles with machine guns of various sizes mounted on them were destroyed, the source confirmed.
Daraa
Units of the army killed a number of terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra who attempted to attack Qita village coming from Enkhil town in the southern Daraa province, a military source told SANA.
The army also targeted and destroyed a vehicle carrying weapons and terrorists, killing all those on board, on a road northwest of Atman town in the northern countryside of the province.
Other army units continued intensive operations targeting dens of takfiri terrorist organizations in the eastern side of the province, killing and injuring a number of their members and destroying their arms and ammunition in al-Karak al-Sharqi town.
Another army unit destroyed terrorists’ hideout in Eib in al-Lajjat area in Daraa countryside, leaving many terrorists dead or injured.
Homs
Units of the army and the armed forces destroyed a den of the so-called “al-Hajer Brigade” in al-Rastan city in the central Homs.
All the weapons and ammunition inside the den were destroyed and the terrorists were left killed, a military source told SANA.
The source added that many terrorists were killed and injured and a vehicle carrying terrorists, ammunition and arms was destroyed on Kisin-Burj Qa’ai road in the northern countryside of the province.
The army also foiled a terrorist attack on Um Jame’ village from the direction of Rajm al-Qasr village in the eastern countryside of Homs, killing and injuring scores of terrorists and destroying one of their vehicles and various types of ammunition.
More terrorists were killed and wounded in the villages of Masada, Rajm al-Aali, Arshouna, Unq al-Hawa, al-Msheirfa al-Janoubiyeh, Salam Sharqi and to the southeast of Um Sahrij, according to the source.
Another army unit destroyed terrorists’ hideout, killing and injuring a number of terrorists in the village of Shmeis al-Hamayem west of Hasia in Homs countryside.
Aleppo
The army carried out concentrated operations against takfiri terrorist organizations in al-Zirbeh town in Aleppo countryside, which resulted in destroying the terrorists’ vehicles and positions, according to a military source.
Many terrorists were killed during the operations.
A special military operation also targeted terrorists in Sheikh Lutfi village in the southeastern countryside of the province, killing a number of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
In the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, an army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists during operations against their gatherings in Kafer Hamra town.
Quneitra
Units of the army and the armed forces killed scores of the terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called Fajir al-Islam Brigade and al-Furqan Brigades in a special operation against their gatherings in the villages of al-Hamidyia and al-Rawadi and to the west of al-Hurriya school in the western countryside of the southern Quneitra province.
A unit of the army and the armed forces also killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their arms and ammunition in the northern part of Taranja village in the northern countryside of the province.
The army continues clampdown, confronts terrorists infiltrating Idleb city
(SANA 28/3/2015) ~ The army and armed forces hunted on Saturday foreign-backed terrorists in many areas across the country, killing numbers of them, wounding others, and destroying their vehicles and munitions.
Idleb
The army is re-positioning forces and units in southern Idleb city in preparation to face thousands of terrorists crossing border from Turkey, a military source said.
Earlier, units of the army confronted terrorist organizations at the northeastern and south westernsides of Idleb city and carried on fierce battles to restore the situation to normal, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists’ ranks.
Meanwhile, the army directed heavy strikes against gatherings of takfiri terrorist organizations which infiltrated into the surroundings of the National Museum and near the Industrial area in the eastern entrance of Idleb city, killing hundreds of them.
Army units also targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations near the gas plant, the industrial city, al-Sakan al-Shababi, and the entrance of Idleb city in addition to Khan Sheikhoun and Binnesh in Idleb province.

IDLIB: The lying has been followed to its source: Syrian Observatory for Human Blight. That’s correct folks, the whole propaganda ploy was set up by MI6 in anticipation of a breakthrough at Idlib planned by incompetent English degenerates in Turkey. The idea was to demoralize the SAA by floating this canard on the airwaves. But, it didn’t work.
Once SOHR, run by convicted felon and professional liar, Rami ‘Abdul-Rahmaan, announced the lie that the Jihadist cannibals had overrun SAA positions in Idlib, other “news” sources like the patently Qatar-owned lie factory, Daily Star, announced the same with unbelievable misinformation such as Al-Raqqa being a provincial capital and the citizens escaping the city to avoid persecution by an angry Syrian government. Other professional purveyors of baloney like Scott Lucas who runs a little-read site called eaworldview and teaches at some picayune college in England, and the hilariously awful Al-Bawaba, joined in the pro-terrorist chorus of nonsense to spread the falsehoods.
Here is what happened based on the best information we can gather: The terrorist assault on the northern edges of the city were all repelled by the SAA as we reported. The purpose of the attacks to the northeast, northwest and east (at the Industrial Zone) were to cover up a large massing force of cannibals and savages to the south of the city. That stratagem (no doubt concocted by the queer English) flopped when the MI people detected the movement of rodents to the south and alerted SAA Central Command. The decision was then made to leave the defenses in the north and east to militia and reconfigure the army to the south in order to destroy the Nusra rodents concentrating there. We do not deny that military outposts outside Idlib were abandoned by the SAA to the terrorist hyenas and plague-carrying rats.
The only area the rats were able to penetrate was in Al-Husayniyya where the population was encouraged to evacuate lest they be subjected to the usual British-encouraged savagery such as decapitations and rape. The people in that quarter were directed to the coast. We can confirm their arrival in Latakia by our relatives who indicated some wariness about Idlibites and their history of support for fundamentalist Islam. However, my impression was that they would be given shelter and treated well. Almost all were women and children. It is evident the men remained to help the SAA fight off the savages. I have received assurances that Al-Husayniyya will be reclaimed by the SAA.
Let me repeat, the BBC, for example, quoted only SOHR’s idiotic announcement. The BBC has no independent source to confirm or disconfirm the western-concocted lie about Idlib. Readers of SyrPer who swallowed the foolishness, hook-line-sinker, ought to reevaluate how they absorb information and regurgitate it – trolls included.
Damascus Countryside
SANA reporter said the army continued advancing in Zabadani western mountains and targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Fleita and Ras al-Maara in the northwestern side of Zabadani mountains, near the Lebanese borders.
The army’s operations in the eastern al-Ghouta targeted areas including Erbin, al-Shukr Mosque between Douma and Harasta, Ein Tarma, and Bzeina. A number of terrorists were killed, two vehicles and a heavy machinegun were destroyed, and a number of hideouts and gatherings were obliterated in these areas.
Other army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Harasta al-Qantara and al-Zamanyeh Farms in al-Nashabyeh.
Homs
Army units killed a number of terrorists and destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun northeast of al-Kuwaiti building in Talbisa, 13 km to the north of Homs city, a military source told SANA.
A number of other vehicles with terrorists on board, some of which equipped with heavy machine guns, were targeted and destroyed during strikes targeting terrorist organizations’ positions in Unq al-Hawa village in the eastern countryside of Homs, the source said.
Meanwhile, concentrated operations by the army resulted in killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and ammunition in al-Mazbal, Um Sahreej and Rasm al-Arnab areas in the eastern countryside.
SANA reporter said army units, in cooperation with the authorities, thwarted an attempt by an armed terrorist group linked to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) to infiltrant a military checkpoint in al-Sukhneh area east of Palmyra city. A large number of the terrorists were killed.
Daraa
An army unit killed many Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in Maaret al-Beida in al-Lajat area in Daraa.
The terrorist organizations acknowledged the death of tens of their members and published their names on social media.
Quneitra
In the countryside of Quneitra, the army units destroyed dens of terrorists from the so-called “Islamic Ahrar al-Sham Movement” and “al-Furqan Battalions” groups which are linked to Jabhat al-Nusra.
Several gatherings of terrorists were severely hit in al-Msheirfeh village in the southeastern countryside of the province. Many of the terrorists were killed and a number of their vehicles were left destroyed.
Aleppo
A Military source told SANA that units of the army and armed forces destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in the villages of al-owijeh, al-manasheer, al-Shakif , in the surroundings of Dweir al-Zaitoun and to the west of Bashkwi in the countryside of Aleppo province.
Homs
The army destroyed a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun in Talbesa and killed a number of terrorists in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
Another army unit targeted terrorists’ dens at the Post Square and the area surrounding the cement factory in al-Rastan in Homs’ northern countryside, killing a number of terrorists and wounding others.
Deir Ezzor
Army units killed scores of terrorists, injured others, and destroyed an armored vehicle and two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in al-Tharda Mountain in Deir Ezzor.
Army units kill more terrorists, destroy their gatherings and vehicles in different areas
(SANA 27/3/2015) ~ Units of the army and the armed forces carried out a series of military operations targeting dens and gatherings of armed terrorist organizations in different areas and killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their vehicles.
Damascus Countryside
The army established control over a number of strategically important sites in Zabadani area in Damascus Countryside and managed to kill and injure large numbers of terrorists.
A military source said army units established control over a number of sites in western al-Zabadani area, including Qarqamaz, Ras al-Khasha, Sheir al-Qarna, Shier al-Hawa, Shu’eb al-Ald, Beir Kaso, Qasr al-Namroud, Sheikh Mansour, Ras al-Qarn and Shaqef al-Ahmar.
The source added that the army destroyed several terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations and killed and injured a number of terrorists.
SANA reporter said the army killed over 20 terrorists in these areas, adding that many of them were of non-Syrian nationalities. Among the dead terrorists were a Yemeni nicknamed Abu Hajer, a Saudi nicknamed Abu Aisha, Mohammad al-Maghrebi who was the leader of a terrorist group, Hamza al-Dalati, and Hasan Awwad.
Meanwhile, army units killed and injured large numbers of terrorists in Fleita near the town of al-Mashrafa in the Qalamoun mountains after targeting their hideouts and concentrations there.
In the Eastern Ghouta area, the army clashed with terrorists in Aliya Farms near Douma and managed to kill a number of them, including terrorist Hussein al-Ahmad.
Other army units carried out a series of operations against terrorists’ hideouts in the areas of Jobar, Eyn Tarma and marj al-Sultan, inflicting losses upon terrorists.
Idleb
The Army launched concentrated airstrikes against terrorists’ gatherings in Bakafaloun, Failoun and Martin in the city and countryside of Idleb, inflicting heavy losses on them.
The Syrian Air Force had launched accurate airstrikes on the terrorists’ gatherings and dens, eliminated many of them and destroyed weaponry and ammo caches in Binnesh, Ta’om, Ma’aret Misreen Road and Sarja in Idleb countryside.
Tens of terrorists were killed and their ammo and weapons were destroyed during Army successful operations in the area surrounding Idleb city.
Other Army units chased members of terrorist organizations east of Idleb city and killed a large number of them.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of tens of their members during Army operations. Abdallah Shartah, chief of the o called” Jabhat al-Nusra” terrorist organization was acknowledged as one of them.
Homs
Army units destroyed terrorist organizations’ dens, killed many terrorists, injured others and destroyed two bulldozers with terrorists onboard in Um Sharshoh and al-Ghanto in Talbeisa area to the north of Homs city.
Other Army units carried out intensive and accurate operations, causing the death or injury of many terrorist organizations’ members and the destruction of weaponry and ammo in al-Ta’lawia in al-Houla area and in al-Wa’ra towards Jbourin- Um Sharshoh in the northern countryside of Homs.
In the eastern countryside of Homs, a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured in Mazbal, Unk al-Hawa and Jub al-Jarah during Army operations against their dens.
Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in Abu Hawadied and al-Mshirfe al-Janoubyeh in Homs eastern countryside.
Aleppo
Units of Army and Armed Forces carried out accurate operations against terrorist organizations’ hideouts and gatherings in Dweir al-Zaitoun, Tal Msibein, the area surrounding al-Mallah Farms and Handarat Camp in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
During the operations, many dens and vehicles belonging to terrorists were destroyed and many terrorists were killed.
A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured during a series of Army accurate operations in Khan al-Assal area to the west of Aleppo.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages that they suffered heavy losses during the Army operations. Ibrahim al-Fayyad and Mohamed al-Halloush were among those killed.
Daraa
Army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in al-Menshiyeh, the Camp and al-Hamadeen neighborhoods in Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa and in the two towns of Dael and Tafas in the countryside, killing numbers of terrorists and injuring others.
A military source said units of the Army destroyed terrorists’ dens in Busra al-Sham, al-Hay al-Gharbi in Atman town and to the southwest of Syriatel Building in Daraa al-Balad, eliminating many of them and injuring others.
Sweida
The army destroyed two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns with all terrorists onboard in al-Qasr village and targeted vehicles in Tal Asfar area in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province.
Quneitra
An Army unit carried out an intensive operation targeting terrorist organizations’ gatherings in Mas’hara town.
The operation resulted in many terrorists getting killed, the injury of many others and the destruction of a number of vehicles in addition to amounts of weapons and ammunition.
Army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their hideout in Tal Mashara in Quneitra countryside.
Army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts near Nabe’a al-Sakher and in Umm Batna in Quneitra countryside, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.
