TEHRAN (FNA)- A prominent Syrian analyst welcomed Tehran and Damascus decision to fully implement their military contracts, and said Iran’s state-of-the-art weapons and equipment will cripple the Takfiri terrorists in Syria.

“The recent visit by the Syrian defense minister to the Islamic Republic of Iran had many messages for the Zionist enemy and other enemies of Syria since the visit was aimed at studying the implementation of military contracts between Damascus and Tehran and will certainly change the balance in the battle grounds in Syria,” Akram Makna told FNA on Saturday.

“It seems that the Islamic Republic of Iran has decided to supply the Syrian government with its most advanced military achievements,” he added.

Syrian Defense Minister Lieutenant General Fahd Jassim al-Freij arrived in Iran on Tuesday to confer with the country’s senior military officials on the further expansion of bilateral defense ties.

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan promised his visiting Syrian counterpart that Tehran would continue aid and support for Damascus in its war against the Takfiri terrorist groups.

Brigadier General Dehqan reiterated Iran’s full support for Syria in its battle against terrorism, saying that dialog is the only solution to the crisis in the Arab country.

“The people and government of Syria, with their unparalleled resistance made bullying powers understand that by exporting terrorists, arming and supporting them, and launching military attacks, they cannot force the region’s Muslim nations to surrender,” he added.
