Units of the Syrian Arab Army and armed forces carried out on Thursday military operations against terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in many areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
Aleppo
The army carried on fierce battles in Jabal al-Arabe’en, near Mseibin and Kfar Najd in Idleb countryside, inflicting terrorists of “Jabhar al-Nusra heavy” losses.
Earlier, the army killed a number of terrorists near the air force academy, Hayan, Kfar Hamra, al-Mislmiya, al-Zahra, al-Jandal and Bustan al-Basha in Aleppo and its countryside.
Idleb
The army confronted attempts of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to infiltrate, with large numbers, to Ariha, destroying a number of mortar-launchers that target the civilians.
Meanwhile, the army’s air force destroyed dens for terrorists and a number of their vehicles, killed several terrorists near Nahlya, Mseibin and Kfar Lata in Idleb countryside.
Daraa
An army unit repels a terrorist attack on Jedieh village in the countryside of the southern Daraa province, a military source said.
Earlier, the army targeted terrorists’ positions on the southern outskirts of Kafer Shams village in the northwestern countryside of the province.
Many terrorists were killed and two mortars and various types of vehicles were destroyed in the operations, a military source confirmed to SANA .
More terrorists were killed in a special operation against their hideouts positioned on the northern hill overlooking Zimrin village in the northwestern countryside.
An army unit carried out a precise operation against Jabhat al-Nusra gatherings in al- Nazihin camp and other areas in the neighborhood of Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
Quneitra
In the western countryside of the neighboring Quneitra province, an army unit targeted groups of Israeli-backed terrorist organizations in al-Hamidiyeh village, leaving many of them dead and their weapons destroyed.
Deir Ezzor
Army units destroyed dens of ISIS in the area surrounding Deir Ezzor Military Airport and al-Jbeila and al-Sina’a neighborhoods, killing many terrorists and injuring others.
Foreign mercenary gangs of various organizations, including Daesh-IS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, are being killed as the Syrian army continues targeting their positions in areas across the country.
Daraa
Army units killed 30 Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and destroy an armored vehicle with terrorists on board near al-Faqie checkpoint and in al-Farouq farm and Mleihet al-Atash in the countryside of the southern Daraa province, according to a military source.
More Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed to south of al-Karak prison in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city and in western Atman town in the countryside.
Sweida
In the southern province of Sweida, an army unit carried out strikes against dens and hideouts of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the countryside of the province.
The strikes left scores of ISIS terrorists dead and others injured in Rajm al-Dawleh village in the northeastern countryside of the province.
Arms and various types of ammunition used by the terrorists were destroyed.
Damascus Countryside
In Damascus countryside province, units of army and the armed forces killed terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra organization including a sniper and destroyed their arms in al-Huseinyia village and Khan al-Sheih farms in the south western side of the province.
Meanwhile, a unit of army killed a number of terrorists including a sniper and destroyed a heavy machine gun, arms and ammunition in al-Huseinyia village to the south of Khan al-Sheih.
The source added that a unit of army destroyed a den for Jabhat al-Nusra with its arms and ammunition and killed a number of terrorists and injured others in Khan al-Sheih farms.
SANA reporter in Qalamoun said an Army unit, in cooperation with the Lebanese resistance, targeted two vehicles belonging to terrorists in Falita mountains in Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside, destroying the vehicles with all the terrorists inside.
Homs
The army destroyed dens for terrorists in Talbeisa and al-Rastan in Homs northern countryside, killing a number of terrorists.
Lattakia
In the northern countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia, army units destroyed terrorists’ vehicles- equipped with heavy machineguns- and mortar launchers in al-Eido village, Kensabba town and al-Noubeh Mountain. A number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed in the process.
Idleb
In the neighboring province of Idleb, an army unit destroyed a den for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in the area of al-Maqal’e to the north of Tal al-Mintar in Jisr al- Shughour city in the countryside of the province, killing all the terrorists inside it.
Aleppo
The army killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles near the air force academy, al-Malah farms, Sayaleh and infantry academy and Bani Zaid in Aleppo and countryside.
Deir Ezzor:
The army’s air force killed scores of ISIS terrorists in al-Mre’eyeh, Aba Safi, al-Hweika and al-Erfi in Deir Ezzor and its countryside, destroying their vehicles equipped with machine guns.
Syrian Arab Army units continued on Tuesday to strike foreign-backed terrorists in many areas across the country, killing numbers of them, wounding others, and destroying their vehicles and weapons.
Homs
An army unit established control over new vantage points in al-Shaer Mountain to the north of Jazal field, killing a number of ISIS terrorists and destroying their vehicles in the process.
The army units also killed a number of terrorists in al-Msherfeh al-Shamaleyeh, al-Sutaneyeh, Talbiseh, Hosh al-Zabadi, and al-Ghantou, and destroyed an armored vehicle for terrorists in the direction of Sha’er oil field and Jazal in the countryside of Homs province.
Daraa
Army units carried out concentrated operations against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ dens in several areas in Daraa southern province, a military source told SANA.
The source pointed out that an army unit destroyed a mortar launcher pad and a den, killing all the terrorists inside, adding that a vehicle transferring terrorists was destroyed where five of them were killed and others injured near the Post Office in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in Daraa city.
Many terrorists, who attempted to infiltrate from al-Naziheen Camp towards Abdul-Aziz Abazid Mosque, were killed and others were injured, as army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the surrounding area of Ber Um al-Dorj in Daraa al-Balad according to the source.
Another army unit concentrated its strikes on terrorists’ gatherings and dens, killing many, injuring others and destroying a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun in Kafar Nasej town in the northern western countryside of Daraa.
In the northern area, many terrorists were killed and others were injured in addition to destroying their vehicles and weapons in al-Faqie village and to the east of Ibta’a town.
An army unit also destroyed a rocket launcher in Fada area to the south of Inkhil town in the countryside of the province.
Other units killed a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations and injured others during intensive strikes targeting their routes and movements in Barqa and al-Thuraya villages, Tilal al-Thuraya , Ain Fada, and al-Mutawaq in the northern countryside of province, destroying their vehicles, arms, and ammunition.
Sweida
A unit of the army and the armed forces carried out a special operation against dens of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” in the northeastern countryside of southern Sweida province.
A of the army, based on accurate information on the movements of the ISIS terrorists, carried out a direct blow against one of their gatherings in Tal Bouthaina in the northeastern countryside of the province.
A number of the ISIS terrorists were killed in the operation and a number of their vehicles were destroyed, some of which equipped with various machineguns, in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition.
Raqqa
A military source that the Army’s Air Force destroyed ISIS dens in al-Tabka airport and the area surrounding it in Raqqa province, killing more than 140 terrorists and injuring dozens more, in addition to destroying a number of the terrorists’ vehicles equipped with machineguns along with large amounts of their arms and ammunition.
Hasaka
An army unit, in cooperation with popular defense groups, destroyed a number of dens and gatherings for the terrorists of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria(ISIS) in many points in al-Haul area in the Eastern countryside of Hasaka province , a military source told SANA.
A number of terrorists were killed and injured during the army’s intensified strikes which also resulted in destroying their vehicles, arms and ammunition.
Other terrorists fled under the army’s strikes towards al-Shadadi city, south of Hadaka city.=
Idleb
The army air force destroyed a warehouse of munitions and three vehicles equipped with machine guns, killed a number of terrorists in Hamimat, Shweiha, Qara al-Ghazal, Tal al-waz in Idleb countryside.
Earlier, a military source said the Army’s Air Force targeted dens of terrorist organizations in the vicinity of Abu al-Duhour Airport, Tal Salmo, al-Tara’a, al –Hamedeyeh, and al-Majass in the countryside of Idleb province, killing scores of terrorists and destroying a number of their vehicles.
Aleppo
The army destroyed dens and vehicles for terrorists, killed many of them near the air force academy, Sakhour, Kfar Hamra, Bab al-Nasr, Sheikh Said, Bab al-Hadid, Bayanoun, Khan Touman and old Aleppo in the northern city of Aleppo and countryside.
18 explosive devices planted by ISIS on Homs-Palmyra road dismantled
Homs – An army unit thwarted an explosive device attack attempt by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on the road linking Homs with Palmyra, which the terrorist organization attacked days ago.
A military engineering unit successfully defused 18 explosive devices, which weighed 10 to 15 kg each. The devices were planted in Hanoura area 75 km east of Homs,a source in the central province said Thursday.
Last March, an army unit, in cooperation with the authorities, dismantled 10 devices, weighing 25-40 kg each, near the Oil Pump Station /3/ east of Palmyra city.
Cowards terrorists set fire to farmlands in eastern countryside of Hama
Terrorists set fire to hundreds of hectares of farmlands planted with wheat, barley, olive trees, and almond trees in the eastern countryside of Hama province.
Diaa Khalil, the chairman of the board of Tal- Dara town, said in a statement to SANA on Wednesday that terrorists had burned on Tuesday around 1,100 hectares of farmlands in al-Jamal and Bargit villages, at al-Dalak turnpike, with the fires spreading to Kubit al-Kurdi and Taldar towns in al-Salamiyeh in the eastern countryside of the province.
An Army unit in cooperation with national defense group and families managed to control and extinguish the fires which had burned on for around ten hours.
