The Syrian Army announced that the county’s Ground, Air and Popular Forces alongside the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Russian warplanes continued pounding the militant groups’ positions in different parts of the Aleppo and made major advances in various parts of the province in the last 48 hours.
Battlefield sources announced on Tuesday that ISIL positions in Manbej, al-Halabieh, Rams al-Abd and Sweisan were stormed in a joint operation of the Syrian ground and air forces.
The sources said that the ISIL suffered heavy death toll in the Syrian fighter jets’ heavy bombardments in the abovementioned locations.
Following the Syrian airstrikes, the army raided the group’s gathering centers in Manbej, al- Halabieh, Rams al-Abd and Sweisan and destroyed the militant sites’ infrastructures.
Meantime, the positions of Takfiri militants of the al-Nusra Front and other terrorist groups were destroyed in military operations in a neighborhood in the Syrian city of Aleppo on Tuesday.
Reports said the Syrian army troops demolished terrorists’ positions in Bani Zeid neighborhood in Aleppo city.
Also, the Syrian fighter jets pounded terrorists’ positions in the Southern countryside of Aleppo, and killed a large number of militants.
Syrian warplanes bombed positions of terrorists from al-Nusra Front and other terrorist group in the towns of al-Haded and al-Zurbeh in the Southern countryside of Aleppo, killing a large number of militants and destroying their arms and ammunition and vehicles equipped with machine guns.
Meanwhile, the Takfiri terrorist groups acknowledged on Tuesday the death of 42 terrorists, including 4 senior commanders, in Aleppo.
The terrorist groups said on their social media pages that 42 terrorists, including 4 senior commanders, were killed in army operations in the Southern countryside of Aleppo.
The military commander of Ahrar al-Sham Movement, Abu Ali al-Noua’imi, a senior commander of Omar al-Farouq brigade, affiliated to Ahrar al-Sham Movement, Oqba Abu Ahmad, the military commander of Aleppo brigade, Saleh Sandeh, and the field commander of al-Jabha al-Shamiyeh, Abdullah al- Ramleh, were identified among the dead terrorists.
Elsewhere, the Syrian army announced that the country’s fighter jets, in several sorties, bombed the ISIL terrorists’ strongholds in the Eastern battlefronts of Aleppo.
The army said that the ISIL positions in the villages of al-Miflsa, Um Arklia and Kuweires Sharqi came under the Syrian jets’ strikes, which claimed the lives of many terrorists and destroyed their military hardware.

Also on Tuesday, a senior ISIL commander who was also a ranking commander of Al-Qaeda terrorist organization was killed by the Syrian army in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Adnan al-Atawi known as Abu Salim al-Tabouki was a prominent member of al-Qaeda terrorist group that reportedly took part in many foreign operations of the terrorist organization, including in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
In 2011, al-Atawi was arrested by the Saudi authorities for his al-Qaeda connections, and sent to the Al-Salouliyah Prison. However, he was subsequently released, and defected from al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front to join the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group.
Al-Atawi had visited his family in Saudi Arabia several times over the last two years, despite his role in the terrorist group in Syria.
An ISIL member who was under his command confirmed his death after his body was retrieved from the battlefront near the Kuweires Military Airport.
Reports said on Tuesday that the Takfiri terrorists fighting against the Damascus government in Southern Aleppo have asked for urgent help from other militant groups as they are coming under a tighter siege by the Syrian army and Hezbollah forces.
“The terrorists who have come under the Syrian army’s siege in the Southern parts of the Aleppo province have asked other terrorist groups to rush to their aid.”
A report said that the Syrian army, backed by the country’s warplanes and Russian airstrikes, killed at least eight senior commanders of the so-called Free Syrian Army in Northern Syria in the last one month.
Reports added the senior FSA commanders were killed in the Northern Province of Aleppo in October. Tens of other ranking commanders of the terrorist groups have been killed in different parts of Aleppo since the start of the new operations by the Syrian army, NDF and Hezbollah forces.

Another report said on Tuesday that the Syrian Army, National Defense Forces (NDF) and Lebanese Hezbollah, in their joint massive operation in the last one month, have pushed the militant groups back in over 200 square kilometers of territories in the Northern province of Aleppo.
Military sources announced on Tuesday that the Syrian Army and its allies managed to regain an area as large as 223 square kilometers in their massive operations in the different parts of Aleppo.
Syrian Army Spokesman General Ali Muaeeb said on Tuesday that ISIL’s centers have been targeted hard by the Syrian Ground and Air Forces in various parts of the Northern province of Aleppo.
General Muaeeb said that the ISIL terrorist group’s strongholds in Deir Hafer, Um Arjeleh, Ramouseh, Karm Maiser, Ma’aret al-Artiq, Sousan, Tadef and Rasm al-Abd came under heavy attacks of the Syrian fighter bombers, which not only claimed the lives of tens of militants, but also destroyed their sites’ infrastructures.
He further added that the ISIL militants’ gathering centers in Ramouseh-Sheikh Saeed route, the Air Force Academy, Assfeirah, al-Nairab, Hreitan and Sheikh Ahmad were stormed by the Syrian army.
The spokesman further added that the ISIL suffered heavy death toll in the army operations in the abovementioned fighting areas.

Military sources said on Monday that the Eastern side of Al-Hadher region in the Southern part of Aleppo city fell into the hands of the government forces after the Syrian Army and Hezbollah fighters pushed the militant groups back from the region.
The Syrian army alongside the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement stormed the militant positions in al-Hadher in the Southern side of Aleppo city and retook full control over the region after killing and wounding scores of the terrorists.
Also on Monday, the sources said that the Syrian army, popular forces and Hezbollah fighters, in massive operation, pushed back the militant groups from Aleppo-Hama border and seized full control over Ahad mountainous region.
The Syrian army alongside the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah fighters launched a joint massive operation against the militant groups’ positions in the Southern territories of Aleppo province bordering the Northeastern parts of Hama province, the sources said.
The government forces’ heavy attacks forced the militants to retreat from the fighting area.
The strategic Ahad mountains are now under full control of the Syrian army troops.
The militants, meantime, suffered heavy death toll in the Ahad operation.
Simultaneous with the advances on the ground, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets carried out many sorties and hit the militants’ defense lines hard.
Battlefield sources informed on Monday that most militant positions, mainly those of ISIL, have come under large-scale operations of the Syrian army, popular forces and Hezbollah in Northeast, East and Southeast Aleppo.
The army razed to the ground the terrorists’ strongholds in Hreitan, al-Shamir and Talat al-Shawaya in Northeastern Aleppo.
Tens of Takfiri terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured in heavy clashes with the army.
Also, the terrorist positions in al-Hader, Kifr Halab, Khalsah, Sheikh Ahmad, al-Muqbila, al-Muflisa and Deir Hafer on the Eastern and Southeastern sides of Aleppo were also massively stormed by the Syrian army, Hezbollah fighters and the NDF, the sources said.
They further added that there have been reports of mass destruction of the militants’ positions and their heavy casualties as a result of the government forces operations in the abovementioned locations.
The militants’ centers in East and Southeast of Aleppo city were heavily targeted by the Syrian and Russian fighter bombers before the government forces’ ground operation.
The Syrian army liberated 13 towns and villages in Aleppo province on Saturday and Sunday.
7 Al-Qaeda Affiliated Commanders Killed by Syrian Army in One Day
The terrorist groups operating in Western Syria have taken quite a hit over the last 24 hours, as several field reports have revealed a heavy death toll among the leadership and top ranks of these groups in the provinces of Aleppo, Damascus, Lattakia, and Hama.
Sources said that the Syrian Army killed the following militant commanders in the last 24 hours: Abu Ali Al-Na’imi (Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham), Abu Mu’az Al-Shami (Al-Nusra Front), Saleh Sindah (Jeish Al-Islam), Uqaba Abu Ahmad (Liwaa ‘Umar Al-Farouq), Abu Abdo Saqr (Jeish Al-Islam), Abu Ahmad Khalil (Liwaa ‘Umar Al-Farouq), and Ashraf Jami’ah Al-Muhayr (Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham).
In addition to the heavy losses to their leadership, the militant groups have also sustained significant losses to their military personnel, as social media activists from militant groups like “Jeish Al-Islam” revealed images of their fighters mourning the death of 80 of their recently killed members.
Overall, in the month of October, 56 field commanders from the militant groups and the ISIL were killed by the Syrian army and/or the National Defense Forces (NDF).

Thousands of soldiers from the Syrian army, Hezbollah and popular forces, backed up by Russian air force, launched the final phase of a landmark operation towards a strategic airbase Southeast of Aleppo that has been under siege for two years now.
The Syrian army, National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah fighters backed up by Russian warplanes started the operation early Tuesday morning and have already come almost half a mile closer to the Kuweires airport in a region where advance in every inch has taken days.
The pro-government forces marched on ISIL positions in the region and advanced to the rural district of Sheikh Ahmad after taking full control of the railway crossing. Early reports from the battlefield said tens of Takfiri terrorists have been killed this morning.
The Syrian army and Hezbollah forces are now deployed in a region only 2 kilomteres away from the airbase.
According to the source, the pro-government forces are preparing to mop up the rest of Sheikh Ahmad to prepare for a massive offensive on ISIL positions along the Aleppo-Raqqa Highway. Some 80 percent of Sheikh Ahmad – that is seen as a milestone in the Damascus war on terrorist groups in the Northern province of Aleppo – is now under the control of the pro-government forces.
Army sources said the Russian strikers play a very crucial role in the operation.
