More than 100 terrorists killed in Hama, establishes control on Marj al-Sultan

Monday 14 December 2015 ~ The military operations against the terrorist organizations are continuing, with the army’s units intensifying their operations against terrorist targets, destroying equipment and leaving many terrorists dead.

Damascus countryside 

The army, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established full control on Marj al-Sultan village, the Airport and the near farms, as well as the southern farms of al-Blaliya in Eastern al-Ghouta.

Earlier, army units advanced in the western and northeast parts of Marj al-Sultan village and established control over a number of buildings and tightened its grip on almost the entire village in Damascus Countryside, source on the ground told SANA.

The sources said that the army launched concentrated strikes against the fortified positions of “Jabhat al-Nusra”,” Ajnad al-Sham Islamic Union” and “Jaish al-Islam”, destroying a bulldozer and a machinegun-equipped vehicle and killing 7 terrorists including Abdul-Hadi al-Bokai, Fadi Najom, Ibrahim al-Mjol, Khaled Khatab and Alaa Ibrahim al-Shakifi.

The sources confirmed that due to the army’s operation,s the supply-routes of terrorists between Marj al-Sultan and Harasta al-Qantra are now under army’s control.

The Army destroyed terrorists’ dens with all weapons and ammunitions inside them in Zabdin village and a car in the farms of Deir al-Assafir.

The Army’s artillery destroyed terrorists’ vehicle and killed 13 terrorists in Erbin, Zamlka, Hamoria and Kafr Batna, including Bilal Orabi, Hassan al-Tir and Abad al-Rahman al-Dahla.

In Douma area, army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Jisr al-Ab and the farms of Alyia and Hijaria.

A rocket launcher, mortar launcher and a site of Jaish al-Islam were destroyed and 7 terrorists were killed including Faris al-Airot, Taisir al-Sheikh Bakri, Maher al-Hot and Taisir al-Saour.

Hama & Idleb

Army and Armed Forces units thwarted a terrorist attack launched by members of “Jaish al-Fateh” (Conquest Army) terrorist organization on a number of military posts in the northern countryside of Hama central province on Sunday night.

A military source told SANA that during the last 24 hours, army units engaged in heavy clashes with armed terrorist groups which tried to infiltrate military posts in the villages and towns of al- Bwaida, al-Masasineh, Zilin, al-Mahroukah, Zour and al-Zalaqiyat in Hama.

The source added that the army killed more than 100 terrorists and destroyed 2 armored vehicles and other machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Sources on the ground told SANA’s reporter that 13 vehicles, 3 B9 cannons, 20 makeshift “hell cannons,” and 23 mortar launchers were destroyed during the clashes.

The sources added that terrorists Mohamed Khaled Abad al-Razik al-Rahmon, Anas al-Azrak, Mohamed Na’anan, Wael Mari, Ahmad Abdallah al-Mustafa, Abad al-Kafi al-Ahmad, Abad al-Hamid al-Aswad, Abad al-Razak Abad al-Ghafour, Hussam al-Safan, and Ibrahim al-Nawaf were killed in the clashes.

Meanwhile, terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media websites the failure of its attack and that they suffered heavy losses in equipment and personnel, who included Mustafa Adel al-Melhem of “Jaish al-Izza” terrorist group, Khaled Shahwan, Ibrahim Salah Hasoud, Mahmoud Mukhtar al-Rajo, and Zafer al-Bakkour.

Later on Monday, the Syrian Air Force carried out airstrikes against the positions and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra in the villages and towns of al-Latamina, al-Zakat, Lahaia, and Maarkaba in the northern countryside of Hama, inflicting severe losses upon their ranks in personnel and destroying their machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Meanwhile in Idleb countryside, the Air Force’s airstrikes destroyed terrorists’ fortified positions and vehicles in Saraqib town to the southeast of Idleb city.

Aleppo

Army and Armed Forces units, assisted by the Syrian Air Force, destroyed gatherings and vehicles for terrorist organizations in Aleppo and their supply routes connecting them to Turkey.

A military source said in a statement to SANA that army units carried out precision operations against hotbeds and movements of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in al-Sakhour and Suleiman al-Halabi neighborhoods in Aleppo city, destroying a convoy of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.

In a special operation, another army unit eliminated all members of a terrorist group and destroyed two vehicles along with all terrorists on board in al-Layramoun area in the northern part of the city.

Another unit destroyed bases and supply routes of terrorist organizations during concentrated operations in Ain al-Beida village 123 kilometers to the northeast of Aleppo.

In the southern countryside of the province, army units inflicted heavy losses in arms, munitions, and machinegun-equipped vehicles used by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other groups affiliated to it in Qrasi and Tal Bajar villages, according to the military source.

Bases, fortified sites, and vehicles for ISIS terrorists were also destroyed during intensive strikes by the army in Shweilekh, Jrouf, Ain al-Hanash, and north al-Hamra village near Maskanah, and al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Air force carried out morning sorties against bases and fortified sites of ISIS terrorists in Jub Ghabsheh, Njarah, Rasm al-Kabeer villages and al-Bab city, destroying them along with all terrorists, arms, and vehicles inside.

Daraa & Sweida

An army unit carried out a concentrated operation targeting a convoy of machinegun-equipped vehicles which was moving between the Waqom and Dama villages in the northwest countryside of Sweida.

A number of vehicles along with all terrorists and weaponry were destroyed during the operation.

Meanwhile in Daraa, an army unit destroyed a terrorists’ gathering in Aba Zaid neighborhood in addition to destroying mortar launcher, makeshift “hell cannon” and terrorists’ vehicles in the southern side of al-Manshia neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area.

Homs

The Army Air force carried out sorties against gatherings and fortifications of ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Homs.

A military source said in a statement to SANA that the strikes destroyed vehicles for terrorists to the east of Palmyra which were coming from al-Raqqa to commit crimes and massacres against residential gatherings in al-Badiya (desert).

ISIS terrorists suffered heavy losses to the east of al-Bayda al-Sharqiya village and al-Hadath area 80 kilometers to the south east of Homs.

Homs: the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) denounces terrorists’ use of one of its ambulances plate in Homs terrorist attacks

Monday 14 December 2015 ~ The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) denounced on Monday terrorists’ use of one of  its ambulance plates to carry out a terrorist car bomb attack in al-Zahraa neighborhood in Homs  city , asserting that such practice aims to abuse the humanitarian work of the organization in  Syria.

The organization stressed, in statement, irresponsibility for using plates of the SARC’s ambulances at Palmyra branch, pointing out that it hasn’t any information about the car since it was lost when ISIS terrorist organization stormed Palmyra Last May.

The plate of the ambulance was used at another vehicle which blew up in al-Zahraa neighborhood and  it doesn’t belong to the organization, SARC added.

The bombing was carried out with a car packed with 150 kg of explosives that had been parked by the  terrorists in a street near a charity association and al-Ahli Hospital, claiming the lives of 16 people and wounding 54 others.

More terrorists, including leaders, killed in army operations

Sunday 13 December 2015 ~ The terrorist organizations are losing more of their members, including groups’ leaders, as the army units continue operations against their positions, backed by the air force.

Lattakia

The terrorist leader of the so-called “Liwaa al-Nassr” group, who is named Aqil Jumaa, and four of his fellows were killed in a special army operation in the surroundings of al-Kouz Mountain in the northern countryside of Lattakia province, a military source said on Sunday.

Aleppo

The army’s air force targeted ISIS sites and fortified positions in the villages of Ein al-Jamajmeh, Eisheh, Nejarah, Sarhan and Jeb al-Qahwa in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.

The military source confirmed to SANA Sunday that a number of ISIS centers were destroyed in the airstrikes, along with vehicles.

The source added that the army units targeted gatherings of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their machinegun-equipped vehicles in Rasm al-Kama village, Deir Hafer town and Manbej city, 90 km northeast of Aleppo city.

In the southern and western countryside of the province, the army’s air force hit positions for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of al-Mansourah and al-Misherfeh, while an army unit targeted gatherings of terrorists in Daret Izza city.

In Aleppo city, the army units targeted terrorists’ sites in the neighborhoods of al-Sheikh Lutfi, al-Ramouseh, Salah Eddin, al-Rashidin, al-Fardous and al-Salehin, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and mortar launchers.

Hama – Idleb

Intensive army airstrikes were launched on terrorists’ sites in the villages of Kafr Zita, al-Latamneh and Atshan in the northern countryside of the central Hama province.

A number of centers and vehicles carrying weapons and ammunition were destroyed and terrorists, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra, were killed in the airstrikes.

Meanwhile, field sources told SANA that 6 vehicles and 2 command centers belonging to terrorists from “Jund al-Aqsa” and “Al-Izza Battalions and Brigades Gathering” were destroyed in army operations in al-Latamneh town.

A terrorist leader named Mohammad Ibrahim al-Rayyes and 7 of his group’s members were killed in the operations, according to the sources.

At least 2 terrorists, named Khalil al-Tayyeb and Ibrahim al-Barazi, were killed in an army operation on the outskirts of Kafr Zita town, and four Jund al-Aqsa terrorists on board a vehicle hit by the army were killed in al-Zakat village.

Later, sources on the ground said an army unit carried out a special operation targeting terrorists’ concentrations in the farms north of Abu Obaidah village in Mhardeh area, resulting in destroying an armored vehicle for “Jaish al-Fateh” (Conquest Army) terrorist organization and killing a number of its members.

The sources added that army units operating in Hama’s northern countryside directed rocket and artillery strikes at terrorists’ positions and movements in the town of Morek and its surroundings, achieving direct hits on their targets.

In the countryside of the neighboring Idleb province, the army units destroyed three vehicles, centers and depots for Jaish al-Fateh on the outskirts of Sarmin town, killing at least 10 terrorists.

Homs

Several ISIS centers were destroyed in army airstrikes in Mhein town its mountain and al-Qaryatain city in the southeastern countryside of Homs province.

A number of vehicles with machine guns mounted on them were destroyed in the airstrikes.

ISIS terrorists also suffered heavy losses in army airstrikes that hit their sites in al-Hayal mountain in Palmyra western countryside.

Other positions and hideouts for ISIS terrorists were destroyed in Khneifis town, 70km south of Palmyra city.

In the northeastern countryside of Homs province, a number of terrorists were killed or injured and their vehicles, some of which loaded with arms, were destroyed in army airstrikes in Izz Eddin town near the border with Hama province.

The army’s air force destroyed hideouts, positions and vehicles equipped with various machineguns belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Teir Maala and Jawalak in Homs northern countryside.

Later, a military source told SANA that an Army and Armed Forces unit targeted hideouts and movements of ISIS terrorists east of the “theatrical city” and in Wadi Abyad dam area west of Palmyra (Tadmur) in Homs province, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and machinegun-equipped vehicles upon the terrorist organization.

Another unit thwarted an attack by ISIS terrorists in the direction of al-Baida al-Gharbiya village southwest of Palmyra, inflicting losses upon them, while a concentration of ISIS terrorist was destroyed along with military equipment and munitions near Maksar al-Hosan village in Jub al-Jarrah area in the province’s eastern countryside.

In the northern countryside, an army unit clashed with terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra that had attacked Oum Sharshouh village 18 km north of Homs city, inflicting losses in personnel and equipment upon the terrorists.

Daraa

An army unit carried out concentrated operations against terrorists’ gatherings in Daraa al-Mahta neighborhood in Daraa.

During the operations, a command center and vehicles along with all terrorists inside them were destroyed to the south of Zanobia School. Terrorists’ fortified positions to the east of the Nursing School, the National Hospital and Busra Square were also destroyed.

Another army unit killed 6 terrorists in the southern side of al-Manshia neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area.

Sweida

An army unit clashed with terrorists at the entrance of Wakm village in the northwest countryside of Sweida.

Terrorists suffered heavy losses during the clashes while others were fled away towards al-Lujat area.
