Mercenary-terrorists killed, injured, trapped in Daraa countryside by Syrian Armed Forces
(1 January 2016) ~ The Syrian Arab Army continued its operations against terrorists across Syria on Friday, targeting positions of ISIS and other terror organizations in Daraa, Aleppo, and Homs provinces.
Army units targeted a terrorist group, killing a number of it members and injured others in the vicinity of al-Sekak buildings to the northeast of Atman town in the northern countryside of Daraa province, a military source told SANA on Friday. A mortar launcher and a position for the terrorist organizations were destroyed in the army intensive operations against their hideouts in Atman town, 40 km north of Daraa city.
Army units targeted a terrorist group, killing a number of it members and injured others in the vicinity of al-Sekak buildings to the northeast of Atman town in the northern countryside of Daraa province, a military source told SANA.
A mortar launcher and a position for the terrorist organizations were destroyed in the army intensive operations against their hideouts in Atman town, 40 km north of Daraa city.
Later in the day, army units destroyed a position for terrorist organizations in Daraa al-Mahatta and killed a number of terrorists and injured others in al-Nazeheen Camp as they destroyed a mortar launcher in al-Arbaeen neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad.
Army and Armed Forces units carried out operations against ISIS gatherings and movements in Tal Msibin village and Azaz town in the northern countryside of Aleppo province and in al-Bab city to the northeast of Aleppo city.
The operations resulted in destroying a number of ISIS gatherings and dens and killing many of its members, a military source told SANA.
Another army unit directed concentrated strikes against fortified positions and hideouts of terrorist organizations in Darit Ezza city to the west of Aleppo city, destroying terrorists’ positions and weaponry there.
South of Aleppo city, an army unit inflicted heavy losses in personnel and equipment upon terrorists in al-Zarba town.
The army also killed many terrorists and injured others after targeting their gatherings in Khan al-Assal village at the southwestern outskirts of Aleppo city.
Meanwhile, army units assisted by popular defense groups launched a series of precision operations against ISIS sites and gatherings in Deir Hafir city, killing many terrorists and destroying their weapons and vehicles.
In Aleppo city itself, army operations continued in a number of the neighborhoods, destroying terrorists’ positions in the Youth Housing, al-Miassar, al-Ramosa, al-Amyria, Salah al-Dien, Bustan al-Basha, Bani Zaid, and al-Lairamon areas.
The Syrian Air Force carried out sorties targeting positions and movements of ISIS terrorists, destroying a convoy of their vehicles in al-Sawana al-Sharkia village southwest of Palmyra (Tadmur) in Homs province’s eastern countryside, a military source told SANA.
The source said that an army unit destroyed hideouts and vehicles for ISIS in Tuloul al-Soud area near al-Qaryatain city 85 km southeast of Homs city.
The army also targeted ISIS positions in the surroundings of al-Shaer field, destroying a number of their vehicles along with the weapons and munitions on board.
In Homs’ northern countryside, army units inflicted losses in personnel and equipment on terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Dar al-Kabira and al-Zaafarana in Talbisa area north of Homs city.

Syrian Army targets terrorists across the country, establishes control over new areas
(31 December 2015) ~ The Syrian army, aided by the Syrian air force, continued establishing control over new areas across the country after targeting the terrorist organizations’ positions and hotbeds in many areas, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
The Syrian army air force targeted ISIS positions and movements in the villages and towns of Afash, Deir Qaq, Aisheh, al-Hader and al-Bab in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
A military source told SANA Thursday that the army airstrikes inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in personnel and equipment, destroying their vehicles, some equipped with machineguns.
The army units bombarded ISIS positions and vehicles to the north Talet al-Sawaya and the village of Tal al- Hatabat in the eastern countryside of the province, destroying them with all terrorists, weapons and ammunition inside and on board.
In Aleppo city, Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations’ hotbeds and positions were destroyed after the army targeted their gatherings in the neighborhoods of Karm al-Tarab, al-Sheikh Lutfi, Salah Eddin, al-Rashidin4 and Bani Zaid in the city of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the killing of a number of their members, among them the so-called “military commander of Thewar al-Sham battalions” terrorist Ibrahim Mohammad Adnan and terrorist Abdel-Qader Ahmad Abdel-Jalil.
Units of army, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control over Ghreemish, Zor al-Sous,al-Ziyadiyeh and al-Sheikh Abdullah town in the south western and south eastern countryside of Hama.
Earlier, the army units established control over towns and villages of Zur Sariheen, al-Maktout, Jenan, al-Sarmya, Ra’aboun, al-Makhrez and al-Muradiya in the eastern countryside of Hama province.
Army units combed these villages and towns and dismantled the explosive devices, which terrorists had planted earlier in the area, after killing many of terrorists and forcing the others to flee.
Meanwhile, the Syrian army air force targeted ISIS gatherings and hideouts in Tulul al-Humr and Qatisha in al-Salamyeh countryside, killing scores of terrorists and destroying a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
Earlier, Takfiri terrorist organizations received heavy losses, in personnel and equipment, by the Syrian air force strikes against their dens in Kafar Zita, Morek, and el-Lattamenh in the countryside of Hama province.
Field Sources told SANA reporter that an army unit carried out special operation to the east of Kafr Zita, destroying a training camp belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra, killing number of terrorists and injuring many others.
The sources also confirmed the killing of the terrorist Omar al-Khatib the “leader” of the camp and the terrorist Abad al-Latif Mohamed al-Tinari, 15 other terrorists were killed and 4 vehicles were destroyed.
Army units directed strikes against terrorists’ gathering in the area surrounding Abdin village, killing at least 5 terrorists and injuring many others
A unit of the army killed 15 terrorists in Tir Ma’ala in Homs northern countryside.
Earlier, the Syrian Air Force launched airstrikes against ISIS’ gatherings and fortified positions in al-Qaryatin and Marmalit al-Qaryatin to the southeast of Homs city, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
In the northern countryside of Homs, army’s airstrikes destroyed gatherings and machinegun-equipped vehicles belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra in Tir Maala and Ayn Hussein al-Janobi villages.
Army units destroyed positions for terrorists from the so-called al-Rahman brigade in addition to mortar launch-pad and fuel warehouse in an operation in Eastern Ghouta, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Field sources told SANA that positions for terrorists from the so-called al-Rahman brigade were destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed in an accurate strike by a unit of army against their dens in Zamalka town.
Another unit of army killed a Yemeni terrorist and two other terrorist group leaders in Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in strikes against their dens in Ain Tarma town.
Army strikes also targeted positions of the so-called Jaish al-Islam in Douma farms and the surroundings, destroying mortar launch-pad,fuel warehouse and vehicles in addition to killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Army units advanced in Marj al-Sultan area in Eastern Ghouta and established control over a number of farms towards al-Nashabiyeh town and Harasta al-Qantara, destroying two vehicles, one of equipped with heavy machine gun.
Engineering units dismantled explosive devices which were planted earlier on roads and farms by terrorists before their defeat and withdrawal from the area.
The sources confirmed that a number of Jaish al-Islam terrorists were killed, including the Saudi Mustafa Hamoud al-Shumari in addition to other terrorists.
Earlier, the Syrian army air force destroyed the so-called Jaish al-Islam positions and vehicles with all weapons and ammunition inside them, killing all terrorists on board in the city of Douma, in the countryside of Damascus.
The Syrian army air force conducted sorties over Takfiri terrorists’ gatherings and movements in al-Merie’ya in the countryside of Deir Ezzor provinces.
The army raids destroyed positions, dens and vehicles of ISIS terrorists.
An army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established Thursday control over al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh village in the countryside of the southern Quneitra province, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorist organizations in personnel and equipment after eliminating their last gatherings there, according to a military source.
Earlier, field sources told SANA that the army unit in cooperation with the popular defense groups targeted Jabhat al-Nusra and other Takfiri terrorist organizations’ positions and fortifications in the village, killing and injuring a number of their members, while others fled away.
An army unit carried out accurate operations against the gatherings of the so called “Deraa al-Islam” in al-Bajaja, al-Bado and al-Jumruk al-Qadim in Daraa al-Balad areas in the southern province of Daraa.
Terrorists’ gatherings were destroyed during the operations and a number of their vehicles, some of them equipped with heavy machine guns, were destroyed.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their pages on social media sites the death of 13 terrorists.
Mercenary-terrorists flee en masse from Sheikh Miskeen in Daraa as Syrian Army advances
(30 December 2015) ~ Units of the Army and Armed Forces continued to advance inside the city of Sheikh Miskeen in Daraa province from different sides, reaching al-Dawwar (roundabout) and al-Masaken al-Askariya area, a military source told SANA, adding that the army’s engineering units are dismantling IEDs left behind by terrorists in the northern and eastern parts of the city which they fled.
The source confirmed that terrorist organizations started moving their operations’ center from the city to the city of Nawa, after the heavy losses inflicted upon their ranks in army operations during the last two days, and that the terrorists are fleeing en masse from Sheikh Miskeen after a number of their leaders were killed, while the army cut off all supply routes for terrorist organizations.
Sources on the ground told SANA that an army unit killed and injured terrorists who were holed up in a hideout in the roundabout area, and destroyed mortar launchers in the eastern part of the city along with two other vehicles on the road between the city and Ibta’a, leaving the 8 terrorists inside them dead or injured.
Earlier Tuesday, Army units established control over Tal al-Hash and the 82nd brigade camp in the vicinity of Sheikh Miskeen town, 22 km north of Daraa city, and inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist organizations in personnel and equipment.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the killing of the so-called “commander of Liwa Jund al-Rahman” terrorist Youssef Abdullah al-Ammar, and another commander nicknamed Abu al-Majed in addition to terrorists Alaa Yaqoub Hajij, Kamal Abdel-Fattah al-Khasawineh, Hafez Mohammad Hussein Subat, Milad Ahmad Subat, Bashar Mohammad Abdel-Majid al-Oklah, Ahmad Adnan Abdel-Raouf al-Halaqi and Mohammad Izzat al-Hariri.
Meanwhile, local sources affirmed the killing of head of Jabhat al-Nusra operations in Sheikh Miskeen city terrorist Abu Mohammad Hafez in addition to the field leader of the so-called Liwa al-Muhajirin and al-Ansar terrorist Abu Mohammad al-Qinyawi.
Later, an army unit destroyed 12 vehicles, some equipped with machineguns, for terrorist organizations on tye Ibtaa-Dael road in the countryside of Daraa southern province, while another unit destroyed a small artillery piece mounted on a vehicle in Bosra al-Cham.
An army unit destroyed Wednesday a rocket-launcher for terrorist organizations and killed its crew in al-Herak town, in addition to eliminating gatherings of terrorists east of Sheikh Hossein hill near the administrative borders with Swieda province.
In Daraa city, army units targeted Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists west of the old customs building and in the southern part of al-Menshiye neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area, destroying their hideouts and hotbeds along with the terrorists, weapons, and munitions inside them.

A number of vehicles and tankers used by ISIS were destroyed along with all terrorists on board.
The Syrian Air Force destroyed ISIS positions and vehicles in Jena al-Elbawi and Jeb al-Rayan in the countryside of Hama province.
The Syrian Air Force launched airstrikes against ISIS’ gatherings and fortified positions in al-Jafra village to the southeast of Deir Ezzor, destroying their positions and vehicles with all terrorists inside them.
Also, many ISIS members were killed and their vehicles were destroyed by airstrikes in al-Mere’iya village.
The army air force destroyed fortifications and hideouts affiliated to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the areas of Abu Haris, Onq al-Hawa and Jub al-Jarrah in the countryside of the central Homs province.
A military source told SANA Wednesday that the army destroyed ISIS vehicles, some equipped with machineguns, with all terrorists inside them after targeting their movement axes on Hawarin-al-Qarayatain road in the southeastern countryside of the province.
Later, a military source said that army units established control over eastern and western al-Taheen hills southeast of Mahseh in the eastern countryside of Homs, cutting off the most vital supply line for ISIS terrorist organization in the direction of al-Qariyatain city.
Leader in Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization killed
A military source said that the so-called “emir” (prince) of Jabhat al-Nusra terror organization in Idleb countryside Hossein al-Aswad was killed along with 13 other terrorists, and that a number of machinegun-equipped and armored vehicles and one base for “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” terrorists were destroyed هn al-Naqir, al-Habeet and Khan al-Subul in Idleb southern countryside.

(29 Deceber 2015) ~ The Syrian army and armed forces, backed by the air force, established control over new areas in southern and coastal sides of the country, destroyed terrorists’ positions, gatherings and vehicles in the other sides.

Army units established control over Tal al-Hash and the 82nd brigade camp adjacent of Sheikh Miskeen town, 22 km north of Daraa city in the southern province of Daraa.
A military source told SANA Tuesday that army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist organizations in personnel and equipment as the army destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles in its continued operation towards the town.
Earlier Monday, army units inflicted heavy losses in personnel and equipment upon terrorist organizations in al-Sheikh Miskeen after launching an operation resulted in establishing control over several points inside the city and its surroundings.
Most of terrorists in the city are from Jabhat al-Nusra, “al-Muthanna movement,” and “Ahrar al-Cham Islamic Movement” terror organizations.
Later, an army unit killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their ammunition and munitions to the north of al-Ghezlan farm in Ataman town north of Daraa city.
A number of terrorists fell dead or wounded and their arms and munitions were destroyed during strikes by a unit of army against their dens and hotbeds in al-Naziheen Camp in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city.
Units of the army established control on a number of farms and parts of the road connecting Marj al-Sultan village and al-Nashabya town in eastern Ghouta towards Harasta al-Qantara.
Field sources told SANA that the army’s operations in the region ended up with the killing of a number of terrorists, among them Abu Qatada al-Saudi, Ghassan Saou’r and Mohammad Harmoush.
In the Eastern province of Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Army air force destroyed ISIS terrorists’ hotbeds and vehicles, some equipped with heavy machineguns after targeting their hideouts and movement axes in the village of al-Jafrah, southeast of Deir Ezzor city.
The army air force, also, destroyed ISIS positions and vehicles in al-Marae’yeh village in the countryside of Deir Ezzor Province.
Burj al-Kasab village and Point 1044 under army control
In the coastal province of Lattakia, the army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established control over Burj al-Kasab village and Point 1044 in the northern countryside of the province.
The army eliminated scores of terrorists in the process and destroyed their hideouts and weaponry.
At the northern part of the country, the Syrian army air force targeted ISIS terrorist organizations’ positions and gatherings in the villages of Tal Hatabat and Nejarah in Deir Hafer area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo Province, destroying their positions and vehicles, and killing a number of their members.

An army unit destroyed two terrorist organizations’ vehicles , one equipped with heavy machine-gun in the village of Tal Msaibeen in the northern countryside of Aleppo province in parallel with targeting terrorists’ supply routes in the towns of Haritan and Anadan.
A military source told SANA that another army unit inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist organizations in personnel and equipment after targeting their hideouts in al-Ameriyeh village in the southeastern countryside of the province.
In Aleppo city, an army unit destroyed Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations’ hotbeds and movements in the neighborhoods of the Old and the New sections of the city.
The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists’ gatherings and their heavy machineguns-equipped vehicles were destroyed in the army continued operations against their positions and movements in the villages of Aisheh, Nejarah, Abu Jebarah al-Kabirah and Ein al-Baida in the northeastern countryside of the province.
The terrorists’ social media websites stressed the killing of Jabhat al-Nusra vocalist nicknamed Abdel-Razaq al-Hamad.

The air force airstrikes destroyed ISIS vehicles, killed and injured a number of its members and destroyed their weapons and equipment.
The source added that the army inflicted heavy losses upon ISIs terrorists in personnel and equipment after targeting their positions in Maheen town and its surroundings in the southeastern countryside of the province.
The army air force, also, targeted Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations affiliated to it in Tair Ma’lah , 7 km north of Homs City, destroying a number of their hideouts and vehicles with all weapons, ammunition and equipment on their board.
21 terrorists killed in Hama province
Army units destroyed 8 terrorists’ vehicles, some of them equipped with machineguns, and killed 21 terrorists, including a leader in Jabhat al-Nusra in Jabal Shahshbo, al-Latamina and Maarakba in the northern countryside of Hama.
The Syrian army air force targeted terrorist organizations’ positions and gatherings in the town of Morek, 30km north of Hama city in the central province, destroying a number of their positions with all weapons and ammunition inside.
The army airstrikes inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS terrorist organization after targeting their hideouts in the village of Tloul al-Homer in the countryside of Salamiyeh.
Meanwhile, field sources told SANA that 7 terrorists at least were killed in the army bombardment against the positions of Jabhat al-Nusra and al-Izza gatherings in al-Latamina, 35km north of Hama.
The sources added that terrorists Abdel-Qader al-She, Abdel Razaq al-Elaiwi, nicknamed al-Ankar were among the dead.
The sources added that the army airstrikes damaged a number of the terrorists’ vehicles in addition to destroying a rocket launcher,killing of at least 3 terrorists in the village of Ma’rakabeh in the northern countryside of the province.
Military Spokesman: The Army establishes control over many strategic regions in the country
(29 December 2015) ~ The Syrian army has established control over Tal al-Hash, camp of Brigade 82 and a number of strategic points in al-Sheikh Miskeen in Daraa countryside, Military Spokesman of the army said on Tuesday.
The spokesman added in a statement that units of the army, in cooperation with popular defense groups, restored full control on mountains of Mahin al-Kabir and Mahin al-Saghir, Mahin village, Hawarin and al-Hadath towns in Homs eastern countryside.
He added that the army, in cooperation with the popular groups, established full control on Height 1112 to the south of Asarmaniyah in Hama north-western countryside.
“The army units also established control on Jrouf and strategic Tal Sharba’a in Aleppo countryside, and the village and tower of al-Qasab and height 1044 in Lattakia northern countryside,” the Spokesman said.
He affirmed that the army has inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist organizations in personnel and equipment and the strikes led to a collapse in the moral state and the fleeing of tens of terrorists from those regions.
The spokesman added that the army calls upon those who were involved in carrying weapon to avail the opportunity, abandon the weapon “and return to the Homeland’s lap”.
19 civilians killed, 43 injured in two terrorist attacks hit al-Zahra’a district, Homs

Two terrorist attacks hit Monday al-Zahra’a neighborhood in Homs claiming the lives of 19 civilians and injuring 43 with severe injuries. The Governor said that “Six civilians were killed and 37 injured in the two terrorist attacks”. The governor added that terrorists detonated a Toyota car bomb with 200 kgs of explosives on the road linking Katheeb graveyard to the main square of al-Zahraa neighborhood in Homs city. The explosion was followed by another attack, when a terrorist suicide detonated an explosive belt among people who gathered around the first explosion, al-Barazi elaborated. The cowardly terrorist attacks are due to the national reconciliation and the Syrian army achievements in combating terrorism. On December 12th, 16 civilians were killed and 54 were injured in terrorist attacks in the same neighborhood of Homs.
