The Syrian Arab Army establishes control over new villages and areas in northern Lattakia
(22 January 2016) ~ The Syrian Arab Armed Forces have made new advances in northern Lattakia, taking control over new areas, with army units in other areas destroying more positions and equipment of terrorist organizations.
Lattakia
Army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established control over al-Kalouksi Mountain, Kitf al-Qamoua and the villages of al-Ghneimiyeh, al-Qalabea, Beit Sukkar, al-Oweinat, Khan al-Jouz, Beit Riha and Bradoun in the northern countryside of Lattakia province, killing and injuring more than 150 terrorists while more terrorist fled towards terrorists as their weapons and equipment were destroyed.
Army units also established full control over the villages of al-Swida, Beit Awan, Baladr and Reif Mkhtaro, the mountains of al-Swida and Sarkal and point 465 in the northern countryside of Lattakia, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their fortified sites, weapons, and munitions, while engineering units combed the areas that came under the army’s control, dismantling explosives and landmines planted by terrorists.
Later in the afternoon, army units and defense groups established control over the villages of al-Saraya, al-Jamousiye, al-Rayaneh, and al-Ghashmaliye, in addition to Barjasliye and al-Mran mountains. Combing these areas resulted in dismantling dozens of IEDs and uncovering an amount of rockets, including US-made TOW rockets.
Turkmen gangs of terrorists in disarray are fleeing across the border.

Daraa
An army unit destroyed a terrorists’ den during intensive strikes against their gatherings to the south of al-Bajaja district in Daraa al-Balad in the southern province of Daraa.
Another army unit carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and fortified positions to the south of Aby Shibli Building, Busra Square and al-Massri Rotary in Daraa al-Mahta neighborhood, destroying their dens, vehicles and weapons.
Later, an army unit eliminated a terrorist group from “Alwiyat al-Furqan” terror organization in an ambush while the terrorists were attempting to infiltrate from al-Lajat area towards the province’s northern countryside.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their pages on social media sites the death of many of their members, including Ahmad Abad al-karim al-Ammar, Mohamed Ahmad Mahmoud al-Hariri and Hamdi Ghassan al-Kor.
Idleb
An army unit destroyed a mortar shells depot and 3 heavy-equipped vehicles belonging to terrorist organizations in Jabal ShahShabo in Idleb countryside.
Army operations targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Tamaniaa town and to the south of al-Khazanat in Khan Sheikhon area, inflicting heavy losses upon terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment.
Hama
Army units launched intensive operations against the sites of the so called “Jaish al-Fateh” in Skik village and the towns of Kafr Zita and al-Latamina to the north of Hama city.
During the operations, a number of sites and large amounts of weapons were destroyed.
An army unit killed terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in the area surrounding Hur Binfsih town to the southwest of Hama city.
Homs
An Army and Armed Forces unit targeted with concentrated fire the gatherings and movements of ISIS west of Palmyra (Tadmur) city and Rwaiset Abu al-Fawares in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
A military source said this resulted in destroying an armored vehicle rigged with explosives and in eliminating a number of terrorists.
In Homs’ northern countryside, an army unit eliminated a terrorist group in a precision operation targeting their hideout in Talbiseh town 13 km from Homs city.
Deir Ezzor
The Syrian Air Force carried out sorties on Friday which targeted ISIS positions and movements in the villages of al-Jafra, al-Jnaina, al-Jabe’a, al-Bghailiye, Mahmida, and around Ayyash village west of Deir Ezzor city.
A military source said the sorties resulted in destroying a large number of vehicles loaded with weapons and munitions and a number of ISIS hideouts and concentrations.
The source added that army units operating in Deir Ezzor city targeted with precision strikes ISIS hotbeds in al-Ummal and al-Sina’a neighborhoods, killing and injuring many terrorists.
Aleppo
The Syrian Air Force carried out sorties that resulted in destroying several hideouts and concentrations of ISIS terrorists in Arab, al-Bab area, Tadef town, and Baza’a village in Aleppo province, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their weapons and munitions.
A military source told SANA that airstrikes also targeted terrorists’ gatherings and fortified positions in Tal Hattabat, al-Mefelseh, and al-Dakouneh villages in Aleppo’s eastern countryside, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their munitions and equipment, in addition to destroying hideouts and concentrations of terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in Kafr Hamra village at the northwestern outskirts of Aleppo city.
The source also said army units carried out special operations in the neighborhoods of Bani Zeid, Sheikh Saeed, and Bustan al-Qasr in Aleppo city, killing and injuring many of them and destroying their equipment and fortified positions.
The army kills many terrorists, including leaders, destroys several mercenary-centers in various areas
(21 January 2016) ~ The terrorist organizations are losing more of their members, weapons and equipment, including vehicles with machine guns mounted on them, in the course of the army’s continued operations in different areas across the country.
Sweida
An army unit launched on Thursday morning an operation against ISIS sites in al-Qassr village to the northeast of the southern Sweida city.
A military source told SANA that a whole gathering of ISIS terrorists was eliminated and 3 vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns were destroyed as a result of the operation.
Daraa
An army unit carried out special operations during the past hours in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa province, killing members of a terrorist organization on the road of al-Sadd and destroying a vehicle north of Wadi al-Zaidi.
A hideout and a vehicle loaded with arms and ammunition were destroyed in army operations against the hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in al-Karak al-Sharqi town.
Terrorist organizations admitted the death of a number of their members including terrorist Nader Ahmad al-Naser and Ahmad Mohammad al-Saadi at the Jordanian hospitals.

Homs
The army has inflected heavy losses upon terrorists of ISIS, destroying a number of their vehicles to the north of al-Maqale’e, Wadi al-Qaddahat in al-Bayarat in Homs eastern countryside.
Other army units destroyed dens and vehicles of terrorists in Tloul al-Sud, Rahoum to the east of Homs.
Idleb/Hama
An army unit killed more than 20 terrorists, including leader of a group within “Jaish al-Fateh” named al-Sheikh Ghali in Hzano village in Idleb province, a source on the ground told SANA.
Meanwhile, the terrorist Hassan Barabo, who is identified as being an “Emir” in “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement”, was killed in Kafr Oweid village to the west of Maaret al-Nouman city.
Army units fired intensively at gatherings of terrorists in Ariha in Jabal al-Zawieh area, destroying a center in Kinsafra village and a hideout belonging to the so-called “Jaish al-Nassr” in al-Mouzara village.
In the neighboring Hama province, an army unit destroyed a center for terrorists from “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” and “Jaish al-Nassr”, a mortar shells depot and 3 vehicles in Jabal Shahshabo.
A gathering of terrorists from “Al-Izza Gathering” was eliminated and 2 vehicles, one equipped with a 14.5 mm machine gun were destroyed in Latmin village in the northern countryside of Hama.
Army operations against gatherings and positions of “Jaish al-Fateh” resulted in the destruction of a monitoring center in Lahaya village and a mortar launcher in Maarakaba in the northern countryside.
Aleppo
The army’s air force carried out many sorties on dens and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Tadef, al-Bab, Ayn al-Jahsh and Aran and in Kfar Hamra village in Aleppo eastern and northern countryside.
The raids ended up with destroying vehicles, dens and weapons of the terrorists.
Deir Ezzor
The army’s air force killed a number of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their positions in al-Jaba’a and al-Jneineh villages in Deir Ezzor.
The raids also killed a number of the terrorists in al-Bghiliyeh, Sina’a and workers neighborhoods and Ayash village in the western countryside of the city.
Military Spokesman: Syrian Army destroys 1662 terrorist targets since 27th of December
(SANA, Manar al-Frieh/Manal) ~ The Military spokesman of the Syrian Arab Army affirmed on Wednesday that 1662 terrorist targets were destroyed during army’s airstrikes against the sites of terrorist organizations in the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama, Idleb, Aleppo and Deir Ezzor.
The spokesman said that the Syrian Air Force carried out since the 27th of Last December 481 sorties and destroyed 1662 terrorist targets including a command center with all terrorists inside it, 3 armored vehicles and a rocket launcher in al-Latamiana, Maarkaba,al-Tamaniaa and Akrab in Hama.
In Idleb, 4 terrorists’ positions, a factory for manufacturing explosive devices, a fortified position and number of heavy-equipped vehicles were destroyed during the sorties and dozens of terrorists were killed.
The spokesman noted that during the sorties, 3 fortified positions, 2 command sites and 3 armored vehicles were destroyed in Aleppo.
A command site in Douma, tens of vehicles in Homs countryside and Deir Ezzor were also destroyed.
The spokesman said that army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, continued operations and advanced in many areas taking advantage of the Russian and Syrian airstrikes.
He said that army launched early this month a wide military operation in the northern countryside of Daraa, establishing control over more than 60% of al-Sheikh Maskyn city and the areas surrounding it, including Tal al-Hash and all the 82nd brigade camp.
He added that the army established control over al-Bilalia village and the farms surrounding it in the Eastern Ghouta and continued to advance in Harasta farms to the east of the international highway.
The spokesman pointed out that army, aided by popular defense groups, restored stability and security to more than 15 villages in the eastern and southern countryside of Hama.
In Homs countryside, army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, reestablished control over the mounts of Mahin al-Kabier and Mahin al-Saghir, al-Mstwdaat area, Mahin town, and al-Hadath and Hawarein villages and the strategic hills in Mahsa- al-Qariatin Road.
In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, army established control over Aisha, Ayn al-Bida, Srib villages and the farms surrounding Srib and established control over the road of Nassr Allah – Ayn al-Bida villages towards Raqqa Road.
The spokesman said that army units forced out ISIS from the villages and farms of al-Abodia, al-Ajozia and al-Mltafta, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorist organization.
In Lattakia countryside, army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established full control over Salma town, the hills and strategic points surrounding it and more than 20 villages and farms.
The spokesman said that army will continue carrying out its tasks till eliminating terrorism and restoring the stability and security to all Syrian areas.
Russian Aerospace Forces destroy artillery, command center, fuel depots for ISIS within 24 hours
(20/1/2016, Lattakia, SANA, Hazem Sabbagh) – The Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out 16 sorties targeting 57 terrorist targets in Syria within the past 24 hours.
Ministry spokesman Gen. Maj. Igor Konashenkov told journalists at Hmaimim Airport in Lattakia province that the Russian airstrikes were limited to Lattakia and Deir Ezzor provinces because the operation command has refrained from targeting terrorist positions in other provinces out of concern for civilians’ lives due to the unsuitable weather conditions in the area.
Konashenkov said Russian aircrafts destroyed a command center for ISIS in a precision strike on one of their field bases in the surroundings of al-Mariaiye town 10 km from Deir Ezzor city, in addition to destroying 3 artillery pieces in an airstrike on ISIS positions in the surroundings of al-Jnaina village, and artillery positions and a fuel depot in al-Bghailiye village, in addition to targeting a workshop used by terrorists in the surroundings of Hatla village.
As for Lattakia province, Konashenkov said that the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out four airstrikes, and that terrorists are retreating thanks to the operations conducted by the Syrian Arab Army in the province’s northern countryside.
He also asserted that the Russian Defense Ministry will continue its humanitarian operation in Syria, and that it’s gearing up to send a new batch of relief to Deir Ezzor city which is besieged by ISIS, adding that 50 tons of relief supplies were airdropped by an aircraft belonging to the Syrian Air Force on January 15th.

(19-20/1/2016) ~ The army units have killed more members of terrorist organizations and destroyed their equipment and hideouts in continued operations in various areas across the country.
Homs
An army unit and the popular defense groups established control over a number of strategic hills and heights, including Thaniet Rashed, in the eastern countryside of Homs province and cut off ISIS terrorists’ supply routes from al-Mahasseh to al-Qaryatain, a military source announced.
Hama
Military source: An army unit kills 12 terrorists, destroys an armored vehicle between the German Camp and al-Sarmaniya in Hama north-western countryside.
Damascus countryside
Security forces destroyed a den for the terrorist organizations in Harasta in al-Ghouta, Damascus countryside.
Daraa
Army units destroyed a center for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and a vehicle moving in Bosra Square in Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhood in Daraa city, while another unit killed all members of a terrorist group in al-Sheikh Miskeen town, 22 km to the north of the city.
Aleppo
Army operations during the past 24 hours concentrated on positions of ISIS terrorist organization in al-Sbeihiyeh village in Aleppo province, where three vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed.
Several gatherings for Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups were targeted in al-Sheik Lutfi village and al-Rashidin area on the southern outskirts of Aleppo city. Four vehicles and a number of hideouts with arms and ammunition inside were destroyed as a result of the operations.
In Aleppo city, an army unit carried out a “precise” operation targeting gatherings of terrorists in Bustan al-Basha neighborhood, destroying three sites containing large amounts of arms and ammunition.

(19 January 2016) ~ The Syrian army and armed forces, backed by the Syrian air force, targeted different sites and locations of terrorists organizations in several provinces of the country, killing scores of them and destroying their vehicles and fortresses.

Deir Ezzor
The army’s air force hit positions and movements of ISIS terrorists in Ayash village, 12 km west of Deir Ezzor city, a military source told SANA on Tuesday.
A number of ISIS terrorists were killed or injured and many of their vehicles, which were equipped with medium and heavy machineguns, were destroyed in the air strikes.
In the meantime, army units targeted movements of ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor airport, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on social media pages the death of at least 70 ISIS terrorists in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor during the past three days.
Hama
The army’s air force targeted positions for Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups in Talaf village and Hor Binafso town, 40 m to the south of Hama city.
A number of centers were destroyed in the airstrikes, which also left several Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists dead, a military source confirmed.
Meanwhile, a source on the ground told SANA that terrorists confirmed in phone conversations between them monitored by the army that many of their fellows were killed in Hor Binafso town.
A leader named Abdullah Fitrawi was said to be among the dead.
In the same context, an army unit intensively fired rockets and artillery shells at sites for “Jaish al-Fateh” terrorists in Morek town and Atshan and Skeik villages, 30 km north of Hama city.
The operations resulted in destroying a vehicle equipped with a 23 mm machine gun and two other vehicles carrying weapons and ammunition.
Army airstrikes on Jaish al-Fateh positions in Kafr Nabboudeh and al-Latamneh towns in the northwestern countryside of Hama left terrorists dead and a number of their hideouts destroyed.
In the neighboring Idleb province, a source on the ground said an army unit carried out a special operation targeting a gathering of terrorists in Saraqeb area in the southern countryside of the
province.
Eight terrorists were killed in the operation, including Ayham al-Abd and Ahmad Zreiq.
In al-Hamediyeh village, at least 7 terrorists from “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” were killed as a result of an army operation against their gathering.
Bilal al-Abed and Talal al-Abed were identified among the dead.
Homs
The army’s air force carried out sorties targeting hideouts and movements of ISIS terrorists east of Mhein town and in al-Qaryatain village, 85 km to the southeast of Homs city.
The air strikes resulted in destroying arms, weapons and vehicles, some of which equipped with heavy machineguns.
More hideouts and positions for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were destroyed in Teir Maala, west of Talbiseh and in Um Sharshouh, 18 km north of Homs city.
Aleppo
The army’s air force launched a series of airstrikes against ISIS dens and fortified positions in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
ISIS targets were hit in Arran, Abu Tatal, al-Madioune and Tal Maksour villages in al-Bab area, 38 km to the northeast of Aleppo city, where many vehicles and hideouts were destroyed.
Army airstrikes also resulted in destroying supply routes for ISIS from Raqqa through the villages of al-Jaberiyeh, Afash and Abu Danneh in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Daraa
In southern Syria, an army unit destroyed a vehicle for terrorists as it targeted their movements to the
southeast of al-Abassiyeh Bakery in Daraa al-Mahatta area in Daraa city.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their weapons and ammunition during operations against their gatherings in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the city.
In Dael city 14 km to the north, the army targeted terrorists, killing numbers of them.
(Homs)
The army establishes control over more areas in Aleppo-Homs-Daraa-Latakia countryside
(Aleppo-Latakia, 15-19/1/2016) ~ The army’s intensified operations against terrorist organizations have resulted in achieving more advances in various areas, establishing control over more areas in Aleppo eastern countryside.
Aleppo
Army units established control over al-Abboudiyeh village, to the southeast of Ein al-Bayda village, and al-Ajouziyeh village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, sources on the ground told SANA on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, army Units targeted hideouts and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in al-Bab, Arran, Tal Beijan, Qiter, al-Mifilseh and Wadiaa in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
The army’s operations resulted in destroying vehicles and sites, in addition to heavy and medium weapons.
The army also inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in al-Mansoura village and Khirbet Hazmar in the western countryside of the province.
In Aleppo city, a number of terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed during army operations in the neighborhoods of al-Ameriyeh, al-Rashidin, al-Khalediyeh, al-Lairamoun, al-Kastello and Bani Zaid.
An army unit destroyed arms and weapons for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Ameriyeh, located on the southeastern outskirts of Aleppo city.
Homs
Army and Armed Forces units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established full control over all hills overlooking the road between al-Mahasa and al-Qaryatain in the southeast countryside of Homs, a military source told SANA on Friday.
The source said the army carried out concentrated operations against ISIS sites and gatherings in the southeast countryside of Homs, cutting off the main supply routes of the terrorist organization in the area towards al-Manqoura and al-Mahsa areas and al-Qaryatain city, killing a number of ISIS members and destroying their weapons and vehicles in the process.
Later, the source said that an army unit and defense groups targeted concentrations and fortified positions for ISIS in Salam Gharbi village in Jub al-Jarrah area east of Homs city, which resulted in destroying a mortar launcher and a machinegun-equipped car along with the terrorists on board.
In the northern countryside, another army unit targeted concentrations of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Kiseen village, destroying a rocket launcher artillery piece.
Daraa
In southern Syria, an army unit destroyed a vehicle for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists west of al-Bajabjeh quarter in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in Daraa city.
A number of terrorists were killed and their arms and weapons were destroyed.
An army unit destroyed a vehicle with all terrorists and weapons inside it on the road between the Meteorology Department Building and al-Sad in Daraa al-Balad area.
To the southeast of Daraa city, an army unit launched strikes against terrorists’ gatherings and positions to the southwest of Gharz Prison, destroying 2 of their vehicles and killing many of them.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their pages on social media sites the death of Abdul-Rahman Ayman Hasan al-Hariri, Ahmad Abu Zaid, Jamal Mohamed Ali al-Asafira, Eyad Marai al-Zubi, Bilal Ahmad al-Sharaa, Hasan Hussien al-Fahid al-Hariri, Hussam Ali al-Swidan, Amir al-Misawi and Abdul-Wahab Abdullah Salal.
Lattakia
The Syrian Arab Army established control over the village of Dwairkeh and Rwaiset al-Nemr in Lattakia’s northeastern countryside after inflicting heavy losses on terrorist organizations, a military source announced on Friday.
The source told SANA that while canvassing the area, army units seized a solar-powered satellite broadcasting station used by terrorists, in addition to a tunnel extending from Rwaiset al-Nemr to al-Rwaiseh al-Jadideh that terrorists had been using to move around, transport weapons and ammo, and evacuate their injured members.
Engineering units also canvassed the area in search of explosive devices and landmines left behind by terrorists, seizing weapons and munitions that terrorists had left behind.

I am so glad each time i hear that SAA is making advances. I am from Serbia and we know very well what is going on. I wish all the best to the beautiful people of Syria.
Few minutes ago i was reading in Russian newspaper “Pravda” how Assad and Putin planned Russian airstrikes well in advances. NATO and USA, drunken with arrogance and easy victories, did not realize deal between Assad and Putin. He-he, they surprised them. However, history teach us that winners write history and borders. In this war, Assad is a winner, therefore i have no doubt that Syria will stay in existing borders and with Assad as a President.
I also have no doubt that, if Russians did not intervene in Syrian crisis, Assad would be killed same as Colonel Qaddafi and our President Slobodan Milosevic (R.I.P.)
Syrian war is not just a war for Syria, it is literally a war for Humanity.
