US Helicopter Fails to Rescue ISIL Leader in Ta’iz Province

(FNA) ~ A US airborne operation to rescue a senior ISIL leader in Southern Zobab city in Ta’iz province failed after the Yemeni army and popular forces killed the terrorist commander, Arab media reports disclosed on Thursday.

“Abu Ayoub al-Ansari was killed by the Yemeni army and popular forces before the US helicopter could rescue take him out of the battlefield, the Arabic-language media outlest,” Alalam quoted an unnamed military source as saying on Thursday.

Meantime, another ISIL leader, Abu Hameh, was also killed by the Yemeni army.

In a relevant development in early March, Ansarullah sources revealed that Saudi Arabia has hatched plots to assassinate the senior leaders of Yemen’s revolution.

“Saudi Arabia is plotting to assassinate leaders of Ansarullah movement and Yemeni revolution,” Colonel Hassan Zaidi, a field commander of Ansarullah, told FNA.

“Saudi Arabia is leading and supporting the terrorist operations in Yemen and wants to omit the leaders of Yemen revolution and it has masterminded the recent assassinations in Aden and Ta’iz provinces,” he added.

Saudi Arabia which has faced failure in Yemen after waging a one-year-long war against its Arab neighbor has now resorted to assassination of Yemen’s popular revolution to bring back its fugitive ally, Mansour Hadi, back to power, he continued.

Yemeni Army Kills over 370 Saudi-Led Forces
in Midi Desert in 2 Days

(FNA) ~ The Yemeni army and popular forces continued their military gains against the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen, killing hundreds of them in heavy clashes over the past 48 hours.

The army and popular units killed at least 378 Saudi forces in Midi desert in the past two days.

The Saudi forces were trying to penetrate into Midi desert in the past two days, but were pushed back after sustaining heavy losses.

At least 15 military vehicles of the Saudi forces were also destroyed.

In a relevant development in mid-March, a Yemeni intelligence source said that over 4,000 Saudi mercenaries, including 178 commanders, have been killed during the year-long Riyadh-led war against Yemen.

“At least, 4,000 Saudi mercenaries have been killed during the savage aggression of the Saudi-led Arab coalition against Yemen in the past one year,” the source told FNA.

He said that tens of the Saudi mercenaries killed by the Yemeni army and popular forces have been Sudanese, Djiboutian, and even Chechen nationals, adding that 178 commanders are seen among the Saudi death toll in Yemen war, “a fact that has always been kept secret the Saudi media”.
