Four citizens killed, 34 injured in terrorist rocket attacks in Aleppo and Homs
Aleppo/Homs, 19/8/2016 ~ Two citizens were killed and 11 others were injured due to terrorist rocket attacks on al-Hamadaniah and Salah Eddin neighborhoods in Aleppo city.
A source at Aleppo Police Command said that terrorist groups fired a number of rocket shells on Salah Eddin neighborhood, killing a citizen, injuring 11 others and causing material damage to citizens’ private and public properties.
Earlier a cleaning worker of al-Ansari Services Department at Aleppo City Council was killed in a terrorist rocket attack that hit Salah Eddin neighborhood on Thursday evening.
SANA reporter said Ahd al-Rihawi was on duty when a rocket shell landed in al-Hashkal quarter in al-Ansari neighborhood. He was killed by shrapnel injuries.
In Homs city, 2 civilians were killed and 23 others were injured in a series of rocket attacks by terrorist groups on residential areas in, SANA reporter stated.
The reporter said that one shell fell in al-Zahraa neighborhood, killing 2 civilians and injuring 16 others.
Earlier, the reporter said that terrorists fired 7 shells on the city, 4 falling in the area between al-Zahra’a and al-Arman neighborhoods, 2 in Wadi al-Zahab area, and 1 in the area between Wadi al-Zahab and Bab al-Dreib, injuring 7 and causing material damage to properties.
Terrorists from ISIS had also targeted Maksar al-Hosan village and Jub al-Jarrah town east of Homs city with 6 rocket shells, causing significant material damage but no injuries.
35 civilians evacuated from Kefraya and al-Foua’a in Idleb, Madaya in Damascus Countryside
Idleb/Damascus Countryside, 19/8/2016 ~ Under the supervision of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, 17 civilians, most of them suffering from serious medical conditions, were evacuated on Friday from the towns of Kefraya and al-Foua’a in Idleb which are besieged by terrorists.
SANA reporter that work is underway to transport the evacuated persons to al-Madiq in Hama countryside, adding that this is being carried out along with evacuating 18 people from the town of Madaya in Damascus Countryside were terrorists use locals as human shields and prevent aid from reaching them.
Four injured in new terrorist rocket attack in Aleppo city
Aleppo, 18/8/2016 ~ Four citizens were injured due to a terrorist rocket attack by terrorist organizations on Salah Eddien neighborhood in Aleppo city.
A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA reporter that the terrorist groups targeted on Thursday afternoon the neighborhood of Salah Eddien in Aleppo city with a number of rocket shells, injuring four citizens, among them two children.
The source added that the attack also caused material damage to public and private properties.
At least 6 civilians suffer suffocation cases in ISIS terrorist attack with toxic gas on Mare’ city, Aleppo
Aleppo, 17/8/2016 ~ A number of people suffered suffocation cases due to a terrorist attack by ISIS terrorists with shells containing toxic gas on Mare’ city to the north of Aleppo city in the northern province of Aleppo.
Local sources in the city said in a phone call with SANA that ISIS terrorists fired on Tuesday afternoon rocket shells containing gas that caused suffocation and dyspnea cases for at least 6 civilians. The sources said that the cases were treated at a health center in the city.
ISIS terrorist organization had previously targeted the residential neighborhoods of Mare’ city with tens of shells that contain toxic gases which caused many suffocation cases among citizens.
Death toll from terrorist rocket attacks in Aleppo rises to 8, more casualties reported in Idleb and Damascus
Syrian Provinces, 16/8/2016 ~ The death toll from the terrorist groups’ rocket attacks on Salah Eddin neighborhood in Aleppo city rose to 8 civilians, in addition to 12 injured, a source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA late on Tuesday.
The source earlier put the death toll at 5 civilians, while 9 other people were reported injured.
Some of the injured were in critical condition, the source said, noting that the shelling attacks on Salah Eddin neighborhood caused material damage to the locals’ houses and other properties.
Terrorist groups also fired rocket shells on Saif al-Dawleh neighborhood in Aleppo city, injuring 3 civilians and causing material damage to properties, according to the source.
One civilian killed due to terrorist rocket attack on besieged al-Fouaa town in Idleb
In the same context, a civilian was killed as terrorists from “Jaish al-Fatah” fired rocket shells on the besieged al-Fouaa town, 10 km to the north of Idleb city.
Local sources in al-Fouaa told SANA over the phone that terrorists positioned in Binnesh town targeted the locals’ houses in the besieged town with rocket shells, killing a civilian and causing material damage to public and private properties.
Material damage due to terrorist rocket attack in Homs city
Terrorist groups fired two rocket shells on al-Zahraa neighborhood in Homs city in the central province of Homs.
A source at Homs Governorate told SANA reporter that two rocket shells, fired by terrorist groups located in the northern countryside and landed in al-Zahraa neighborhood, caused material damage to the locals’ houses and other properties.
Two civilians injured in terrorist mortar attack on Bab Touma
Terrorists targeted Bab Touma neighborhood in Damascus with a mortar shell, injuring two civilians.
A source at Damascus Police Command said in a statement to SANA that a mortar shell fired by terrorist groups on Tuesday evening fell in Bab Touma neighborhood in the Old City in Damascus, injuring two civilians and causing material damage to locals’ properties.
Nine persons killed, 12 injured in terrorist attack in Aleppo city
Aleppo, 15/8/2016 ~ Six civilians were killed, among them 4 children and a woman, while eight persons were injured in terrorist attacks with rocket shells on al-Hizam al-Akhdar ( Green belt) area in New Aleppo, SANA reporter said on Monday.
Earlier, three persons were killed, a woman among them, and four others got injured due to a terrorist attack with rocket shells and explosive rounds on residential neighborhoods of Aleppo city.
A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA reporter that terrorist groups fired rocket shells and explosive rounds on the neighborhoods of al-Hamadanyiah, al-Sheikh Taha, al-Sulaimaniah and Aleppo al-Jadida, killing three persons, among them a woman, and injuring four others, among them two girls.
The source added that the attack also caused material damage to citizens’ houses and properties.
Terrorists target al-Zara power plant with rocket shells in Hama Countryside
Hama/Idleb, 14/8/2016 ~ Terrorists from “Jabhat al-Nusra” and “Ahrar al-Sham” targeted al-Zara power plant in the southern countryside of Hama central province with a number of rocket shells, causing a huge material damage to the plant.
A source at the Ministry of Electricity told SANA that terrorist groups on Sunday morning attacked al-Zara power plant in an attempt to enter it and establish control over it, yet units of the army and armed forces in the vicinity of the plant foiled the attack and killed a number of terrorists.
The source added that terrorists fired a number of rocket shells on the plant during the attack causing a huge material damage to one of the generators.
Over the past few weeks, the terrorist groups targeted al-Zara power plant several times with hundreds of shells and the plant went out of service as workshops are working on fixing the damage while units of the army are working on protecting the plant.
A person injured by terrorist sniper gunfire in al-Fouaa town, Idleb
A person got injured due to a terrorist sniper attack by terrorist groups affiliated to the so called “Jaish al-Fateh” on the besieged town of al-Fouaa in the northern countryside of Idleb.
In a phone call with SANA, local sources said that terrorists positioned in Binnesh town targeted the citizens’ houses in al-Fouas town with sniper gunfire, injuring a person.
Terrorist attacks leave child and woman dead and 7 others injured in Aleppo, cause material damage in Daraa
Syrian Provinces, 12/8/2016 ~ A child and a woman were killed and seven others were injured by terrorist rocket and sniper attacks that targeted Aleppo city and al-Hader town in Aleppo’s southern countryside on Friday.
A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired rocket shells at al-Hamadaniya neighborhood in Aleppo city, killing one woman and injuring four others, in addition to causing material damage to properties, while one child was killed by a terrorist sniper’s gunfire in Baron Street in the city.
The source added that three people sustained injuries of varying severity due to a rocket shell fired by terrorists on al-Hader town in Aleppo’s southern countryside.
In Daraa province, Terrorist groups fired on Friday evening several rocket shells at residential neighborhoods in Daraa city, causing material damage to citizens’ properties.
A source at Daraa Police Command told SANA reporter that terrorists located in al-Nazihin Camp fired several rocket shells at al-Kashef and Shamal al-Khatt neighborhoods in the city, causing material damage to locals’ houses and properties.
A 40-truck convoy carrying 1000 tons of food supplies arrives in Aleppo
Aleppo, 12/8/2016 ~ A convoy of 40 trucks carrying nearly 1000 tons of food supplies arrived in Aleppo province Thursday evening.
Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Abdullah al-Gharbi said the convoy aims at meeting the basic livelihood needs of Aleppo people so as to boost their resilience.
The food stuff will be provided for citizens at the food supplies establishments and through vehicles that march streets to sell grocery, al-Gharbi added.
He pointed out that the supplies available in Aleppo now are sufficient for two months, stressing though that sending food stuff to the province will continue.
Large quantities of gas oil and benzene as well as food supplies were sent to Aleppo last Monday.
