30 civilians killed, 43 others injured in two terrorist bombings in Tartous countryside

30 civilians were killed and 43 others were injured in twin terrorist bombings in Tartous countryside on Monday.

One of the two terrorist blasts was carried out by a car bomb which exploded at Arazona Bridge on the international highway in Tartous countryside, followed by another terrorist bombing carried out by a suicide bomber with an explosive belt who blew himself up after the citizens gathered to take the wounded to the hospital, a source at Tartous Police Command told SANA.


For his part, Director of al-Basel hospital in Tratous Mohammad Hussein said that the death toll from the twin terrorist bombings has risen to 30 civilians, adding that 43 others were wounded.

Five civilians killed, 2 others injured in terrorist bombing in Hasaka city

Five civilians were killed and two others were injured in a terrorist bombing by an explosives-packed motorcycle north of Hasaka city on Monday morning.

A security source told SANA reporter that the terrorist bombing occurred when an explosives-packed motorcycle blew up at Marsho roundabout north of Hasaka city.

The terrorist bombing, according to the source, claimed the lives of 5 civilians and injured two other persons as it caused material damage to the private and public properties.


Death toll of Homs terrorist bombing rises to four, ten injured 

The death toll of the car bomb explosion which took place at the entrance of Bab Tadmur neighborhood in Homs City on Monday rose to four people while the number of the injured raised to ten.

Director of Homs Health Directorate Hassan al-Jindi told SANA reporter that the number of the people killed in the explosion rose to four after two of the injured died of their wounds.

Earlier, al-Jindi said that the bodies of two people were transported to hospitals affiliated to the Directorate, in addition to seven people injured in the terrorist bombing.

SANA reporter indicated that the terrorist bombing caused material damage to a number of the neighboring houses, in addition to burning a number of cars.

A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command said that the terrorist bombing that took place on the road of al-Sabboura/-al-Bajja’ claimed the live of a person and injured three others

Two women killed, 8 other persons injured in terrorist attacks iin Aleppo countryside

Two women were killed and 8 other persons were injured in terrorist attacks with rocket shells on the towns of Nubul and al-Zahraa in Aleppo northern countryside.

A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA reporter on Sunday that terrorists positioned in Byanoun town fired rocket shells on the towns of Nubul and al-Zahraa, claiming the lives of two women and injuring 8 other civilians.

The terrorist attacks, according to the source, caused material damage to several houses and to the private and public properties.


Over 100 killed as blasts hit near Russian military bases
in Syria’s Latakia province

Over 100 people are feared dead after seven blasts targeted several locations in the coastal towns of Jableh and Tartus, Syria’s Latakia province. The locations are close to two Russian military facilities: the Khmeimim airbase and the Tartus naval base.

According to Ikhbariya TV, there were up to three explosions in the coastal town of Jableh near the local railway terminal. RIA Novosti and state TV also report a fourth explosion, at the emergency unit of a local hospital

The blasts left over 45 people dead, police sources initially told RIA. Then the joint death toll was raised to over 100.

Sham FM radio claims that the first explosion in Jableh occurred at the entrance to the town, where a car with an estimated equivalent of 250 kg of TNT inside blew up.

Another three explosions were reportedly carried out by suicide bombers, and at least one of them was believed to be a woman.

Three more blasts were reported in a residential area of another coastal town, Tartus, eyewitnesses told RIA Novosti.

At least 20 were killed there, SANA and RIA Novosti said citing police sources.

According to Syrian state TV, one of the Tartus explosions was a car bomb, while another was caused by a suicide bomber.
