Terrorist gangs in Syria’s Aleppo violated the agreement on leaving the city and used the ceasefire to regroup and begin hostilities again, the Russian reconciliation center said Wednesday.
The center said in a statement that it had prepared means for evacuation of the gunmen to Idlib, in accordance with the deal reached with the Syrian authorities.
(Some of the Syrian government buses were seen leaving the boundary between opposition and government held territories without passengers, in the Salah Al-Deen district of eastern Aleppo on Wednesday).
“When the transport arrived at the previously agreed loading place, the gunmen began shelling the convoy. Having used the ceasefire, they regrouped at dawn and renewed hostilities, trying to break through the positions of the Syrian army in the northwestern direction,” the statement read.
