Turkish officials confirmed that Turkey’s Chief of Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar met Tuesday on the sidelines of a meeting of NATO military leaders with IOF (Israeli Occupation Forces) Deputy Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Yair Golan for the first high-level meeting [Tuesday 17/1/2017 in Brussels] between senior security officials from the two countries for first time in years. ~ Military leaders of 14 countries of the U.S.-led coalition against Daesh on Jan. 15 agreed to support Turkey’s ongoing Euphrates Shield operation.
