SAA destroys al-Nusra and Daesh fortifications

Daraa

A Syrian Arab Army (SAA) unit targeted Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa southern province.

A military source told SANA Thursday that the army killed and injured a number of terrorists in al-Sadd road neighborhood and northwest of the old Customs and destroyed their fortifications and machinegun nests southeast of al-Khazan and in al-Abbasiyeh neighborhood.

Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Air Force carried out a series of sorties targeting Daesh (ISIS, ISIL) terrorists’ hideouts and positions in Deir Ezzor.

SANA reporter in the province said that intensive strikes were launched against gatherings and movements of Daesh terrorists in al-Rasafeh neighborhood and the surroundings of the graveyards area and al-Thurda and Brick Factories, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and equipment.

The reporter added that an army unit carried out a special operation against other gatherings and movements of Daesh terrorists in the vicinity of Liwa al-Tamin, destroying BMP a vehicle and killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

Local sources in al-Sayyal town in al-Boukamal area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor said that ISIS terrorists had executed a citizen by gunshots to the head.

Homs

Syrian Arab Army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, established control over 4 important points to the west of al-Talila reserve area, 18 km east of Palmyra in eastern Homs.


SAA kills ISIS terrorists, destroys rocket-launching platform

Homs

Syrian Arab Army and Syrian Armed Forces units launched operations against gatherings of Daesh in Um Sahrij village to the east of Homs city.

A military source said that an army unit directed accurate strikes on fortified positions and dens for Daesh in the village of Um Sahrij, destroying a pickup truck equipped with heavy machinegun and a rocket-launching platform along with 6 terrorists.

The Syrian army units established control over the villages of al-Tadmuria, al-Khalilia and al-Mohashem, the Mounts of al-Shomaria and the hills surrounding them after killing a number of Daesh terrorists in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Syrian Arab Army units destroyed two bomb vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra in Deir Foul village, killing a large number of the terrorists.

Deir Ezzor

Meanwhile, Syrian Army units, in cooperation with allied forces, carried out intensive operations against Daesh’ gatherings and infiltration axes on the southern outskirts of Deir Ezzor city.

Syrian News Agency reporter in Deir Ezzor said that army units shelled Daesh sites in the graveyards area, destroying a number of the terrorist organization dens and killing a number of terrorists, including the so called “Abu al-Zubair al-Maghribi” the arming official in the so called “Euphrates State” and Hassan al-Mala one of ISIS’ leaders.

The reporter quoted local sources as saying that a group of the locals of al-Bu Kamal city had attacked one of Daesh hideouts on the outskirts of the city and managed to kill two of its terrorists and burned a number of cars.

Terrorists target al-Zara power plant and other areas in Hama, Homs, and Damascus Countryside with shells

Terrorists from al-Nusra mercenary-terrorist gangs targeted al-Zara power plant in the southern countryside of Hama province with a number of mortar shells, causing material damage to it.

A number of mortar shells landed in the hall of al-Zara power plant and the workers’ housing which caused material damage.

Later, terrorists positioned in the northern countryside of Hama province fired a number of rocket shells which hit citizens’ houses in al-Saqailabiah and Salhab.

Terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra (the al-Qaeda faction created by the CIA intelligence for Syria) fired 3 rocket shells on al-Saqailabiah city, causing material damage to citizens’ houses and properties, and that 2 more rocket shells landed in Salhab town and caused material damage to residential buildings.

Material damage due to terrorist attack with shells in Homs

Terrorists from Daesh fired a number of shells on the village of al-Sankari to the east of Homs city, causing material damage.

Local sources reported that Daesh terrorists positioned in Rahoum and Um Sahrij villages targeted al-Sankari village with a number of rocket shells, one of which landed in the primary school of the village where the students were taking their exams, causing material damage to properties.

One Civilian killed, another injured due to terrorist mortar attack in Damascus Countryside

Meanwhile in Damascus Countryside, one civilian was killed and another was injured due to terrorist attacks with mortar shells on Harasta suburb.

A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command said that terrorists located in al-Qaboun and Eastern Ghouta areas fired three rocket shells at Harasta suburb, claiming the life of one person and injuring another, in addition to causing material damage to citizens’ homes and properties.
