“The armed opposition to President Assad is dominated by Daesh, the al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham.

Of the smaller groups the CIA openly supports only those operating under license from the above quoted”

What Russia is bombing in actuality is an al-Qaeda, extremist dominated opposition embedded with CIA-backed ‘rebels’ operating under their control.

The not-so-moderates only operate under license from, and in support of, the Salafi jihadists, openly expressing their solidarity with them, labelling them as ‘brothers’, and begging the U.N. to protect them.

Due to porous links between Free Syrian Army, other Islamist groups like al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham, and ISIS, there have been prolific weapons transfers from ‘moderate’ to Islamist militant groups”.

Several rebel groups, 5 of which belong to the FSA, have recently united under the leadership of the former emir of the al-Qaeda-linked Ahrar al-Sham.

A longtime al-Qaeda member who sits on al-Nusra’s elite council explained that:
“The Free Syrian Army groups said they were ready for anything according to the Islamic sharia and that we are delegated to apply the rulings of the sharia on them”, essentially meaning that the FSA had subordinated themselves to al-Qaeda.

It has been further revealed that all of the Syrian groups operative in Aleppo had recently declared Ba’yaa (loyalty) to the Ahrar al-Sham emir Abu Jaber.

US officials still continue to maintain that Russia’s bombing campaign in Syria, launched last fall, has infuriated the CIA in particular because the strikes have aggressively targeted relatively moderate rebels it has backed with military supplies, including antitank missiles.

Nine civilians, including six children, have been killed in a Saudi airstrike on a three-floor building in the Yemeni province of Sana’a.

Five other people were also injured after the Saudi warplanes targeted the building in Hajar Akkash village in the Bani Matar district late on Friday night.

Saudi Arabia’s air campaign against Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement started on March 26 in a bid to restore power to fugitive former Yemeni president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

UN Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs Valerie Amos said in a statement on Thursday, at least 519 people, including women and children, have so far lost their lives in two weeks of violence in Yemen, as Saudi Arabia’s airstrikes continue unabated.

It was no coincidence that a Kingdom adopting Wahhabi and Takfiri thoughts was founded in Najad and Hijaz; as its foundation had a big role in slamming all efforts toward an Arab unity against the British and French colonialism in the twenties and thirties of the past century.

While Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan aspires to rebuild the Ottoman Empire, what was most striking was the establishment of a Turkish-Saudi alliance in the war on Yemen, especially since the Saudi Kingdom was a pioneer in the fight against the Ottoman Empire in the Arabian Peninsula and the disassembling of its succession.

As an overseer on the Kingdom’s emergence, one cannot help but note the abundance of “coincidences” which accorded with its advent and which ultimately led to the disintegration and fragmentation of the Arab and Islamic world.

In a similar notion, the Saudi Kingdom fulfilled its mission against Gamal Abdel Nasser and announced a relentless war against him as it did with Sharif Hussein in the early formation of the “Israeli” entity.

Furthermore, the Saudi fund included Egypt as well, where it spent billions of dollars in the construction of religious schools to spread the Wahhabi ideology.
Consequently, Saudi corruption spared no region in the world except for the Zionist entity that stayed free from Saudi Arabia’s ambitions.

The new king of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, the half-brother of King Abdullah, who died in his early 90s from complications from pneumonia, is expected to rule with a more Wahhabist-oriented religious bent and concentrate on limiting cautious political reforms started by Abdullah. Salman is also expected to devote his energies to increasing Saudi national security.

Salman’s devotion to Saudi security is hypocritical at best due to his past support for Al Qaeda, including some of the individuals implicated in the 9/11 attack on the United States.

In 2006, Saudi democratic opposition leaders in Britain fingered Salman, the then-governor of Riyadh province, as providing material assistance to Al Qaeda forces operating in Afghanistan before and after 9/11. The opposition revealed that Al Qaeda members routinely traveled through Riyadh on their way to Pakistan and then to Taliban-ruled regions of Afghanistan. These Saudi insiders also reported that Salman’s governor’s office arranged for cash payments, hotels, and air fares for the Al Qaeda members.
