While the connections between the plans to destroy Syria and the Obama administration are generally known, what is less well-known is the fact that there existed a plan to destroy Syria as far back as not only the Bush administration but also the Reagan Administration in 1983.

Even as far back as 1983, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s father, Hafez Assad, was viewed as a gadfly to the plans of Western imperialists seeking to weaken both the Iraqis and the Iranians and extend hegemony over the Middle East and Persia. The document shows that Assad and hence Syria represented a resistance to Western imperialism, a threat to Israel, and that Assad himself was well aware of the game the United States, Israel, and other members of the Western imperialist coalition were trying to play against him.

Important gains were made against ISIL in Deir Ezzur in the past couple of weeks, making it clear that the Real War on Terror by the allied forces of Iran, Syria, Russia and Hezbollah is indeed nearing absolute victory.

Hezbollah has declared victory in the war along the Lebanese border already, while Iran and Russia say Syria is well on its way to defeating ISIL outright.

Per usual, the news hasn’t gone so well in Washington.

The regime-change cabal says “the claims of progress may be getting ahead of themselves,” with “fakestream” media claiming the allied forces are yet to clear the country of terrorists. This claim appears demonstrably false, as all credible maps of territory show the Syrian government is indeed well ahead of that:

– It is undeniable that ISIL and other foreign-backed terrorist groups have lost a lot of territory in recent months, and a lot of that territory has fallen to the government forces in both Iraq and Syria. The terrorists might still have some defenses building around certain areas of their remaining territory, but that does in no way mean they can make further pushes by the allied forces more difficult.

– As reported by Western media outlets, the overseas terrorists are returning home with all sorts of new combat skills and international contacts. US officials say their intention is no one should survive to return home. That’s never a realistic goal, and we’re seeing ISIL defectors by the hundreds leaving combat zones, with large numbers flocking to the Idlib province. Many have already crossed the border into Turkey. They are effectively out of the warzone, heading towards Europe and beyond.

– It is clear who these people who crossed are, and what countries they originated in. Now that they’re out of Syria, it’s not likely to be that difficult for them to navigate their way back to Europe, and we already know what they will do to their patrons in the future.

– The bigger picture behind Official Washington’s hysteria over the Syrian victory is the image of a decaying but dangerous American hegemon resisting the start of a new multipolar order. Iran and Russia have been chafing for years under a new world order in which one nation gets to serve as judge, jury, and high executioner. This, of course, is the United States. If the US says it will continue to occupy post-ISIL Syria militarily, then, it will see to it that Syria suffers accordingly… … …

Terrorists from the FSA mercenary-gangs said that their U.S. pupetters are pushing for retreat from southeast Syria.

Mercenary-terrorists of the so called gangs “Usoud al-Sharqiya” and “Martyr Ahmad Abdo”, both part of the “Free Syrian Army” deserters, said they were told to end fighting in the area by their backers of the “U.S. Central Intelligence Agency”, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, some of the neighboring states that support them. The news was also spread by the Reuters agency.

The majority of these gang members merged into “Jaysh al-Islam” (also known as Liwa al-Islam, Brigade of Islam, a terroristic coalition of Islamist and Salafist units who work alongside al-Nusra Front, al-Qaeda in Syria).

So, their Western and Arab backers asked them to pull out of the area and retreat into Jordan.

“There is an official request for us to leave the area”, said Badr al Din al Salamah, an openly declared mercenary commander in the Usoud al Sharqiya terrorist gang, a recipient of the military aid from the U.S.-backed alliance.

The conclusion is that they have received the order (by CIA and allied agencies) to end fighting in the area and retreat into Jordan: so Jordan is becoming the receptacle and den of al-Qaeda and all the terrorist mercenaries cutthroat in the area.

The game will not be over until these criminal delinquents and their godfathers will become kneeling and harmless.

Resistance against ZOG and the pro-Zionist forces will continue…

Russian Foreign Ministry warned of the political and military consequences of the US “manipulation” of the “militants” in Syria to achieve special geopolitical interests.

“Our position on the US overtures with the Syrian militants has been voiced repeatedly. This can lead to unpredictable military and political consequences,” the Russian Foreign Ministry’s deputy director of the Information and Press Department Artyom Kozhin said in a statement.

He underscored that Moscow had repeatedly pointed to Washington’s “indiscrimination over whom they are dealing with in Syria while pursuing their own geopolitical interests.”

Kozhin added that Moscow has not been officially informed of the United States government’s reported decision to end the CIA program to arm and train Syrian “opposition”.

Earlier this week, the White House claimed that the Syrian government was conducting “potential preparations” for a chemical weapons attack. The statement warned that if Damascus conducted a chemical attack Syrian President Bashar Assad and his military “will pay a heavy price.”
In addition, US President Donald Trump had a phone call with French leader Emmanuel Macron, in which the two leaders agreed to work together to find s response in case of a new chemical incident in Syria.
The French president said that Paris could launch unilateral air strikes against targets in Syria if a new chemical attack is carried out.
Moreover, British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon stated that London will support any retaliation by the United States for the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
In response, Damascus dismissed the allegations, calling them “misleading, false and baseless.”
“In terms of international law, this is political pressure over Damascus. It is in response to Syrian Army’s advances in eastern Syria. Washington’s accusations are a lie,” al Akkam told Sputnik Arabic.

The policy of arming military groups committed to overthrowing the government of President Bashar al-Assad began in September 2011, when President Barack Obama was pressed by his Sunni allies—Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar—to supply heavy weapons to a military opposition to Assad they were determined to establish. Turkey and the Gulf regimes wanted the United States to provide anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons to the rebels, according to a former Obama Administration official involved in Middle East issues.

Obama refused to provide arms to the opposition, but he agreed to provide covert U.S. logistical help in carrying out a campaign of military assistance to arm opposition groups. CIA involvement in the arming of anti-Assad forces began with arranging for the shipment of weapons from the stocks of the Gaddafi regime that had been stored in Benghazi. CIA-controlled firms shipped the weapons from the military port of Benghazi to two small ports in Syria using former U.S. military personnel to manage the logistics, as investigative reporter Sy Hersh detailed in 2014. The funding for the program came mainly from the Saudis.

A declassified October 2012 Defense Intelligence Agency report revealed that the shipment in late August 2012 had included 500 sniper rifles, 100 RPG (rocket propelled grenade launchers) along with 300 RPG rounds and 400 howitzers. Each arms shipment encompassed as many as ten shipping containers, it reported, each of which held about 48,000 pounds of cargo. That suggests a total payload of up to 250 tons of weapons per shipment. Even if the CIA had organized only one shipment per month, the arms shipments would have totaled 2,750 tons of arms bound ultimately for Syria from October 2011 through August 2012. More likely it was a multiple of that figure.  

The CIA’s covert arms shipments from Libya came to an abrupt halt in September 2012 when Libyan militants attacked and burned the embassy annex in Benghazi that had been used to support the operation. By then, however, a much larger channel for arming anti-government forces was opening up. The CIA put the Saudis in touch with a senior Croatian official who had offered to sell large quantities of arms left over from the Balkan Wars of the 1990s. And the CIA helped them shop for weapons from arms dealers and governments in several other former Soviet bloc countries.

Flush with weapons acquired from both the CIA Libya program and from the Croatians, the Saudis and Qataris dramatically increased the number of flights by military cargo planes to Turkey in December 2012 and continued that intensive pace for the next two and a half months. The New York Times reported a total 160 such flights through mid-March 2013. The most common cargo plane in use in the Gulf, the Ilyushin IL-76, can carry roughly 50 tons of cargo on a flight, which would indicate that as much as 8,000 tons of weapons poured across the Turkish border into Syria just in late 2012 and in 2013… … … … … …

The US is actively preparing public opinion for a direct military aggression against Syria. The White House claimed on Monday that it has a “potential” evidence that the Bashar Assad government was preparing for another chemical weapons attack that “would likely result if the mass murder of civilians, including innocent children.” Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that if “Mr. Assad conducts another mass murder attack using chemical weapons, he and his military will pay a heavy price.” US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley further accused Russia and Iran for any future “chemical attacks” that may take place in Syria. However, no evidence was provided.

UK Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon said on Tuesday that the US had not shared any specific evidence with the British Government, but the UK is ready to support any US military actions against Syria.

Earlier this month, Army Col. Ryan Dillon, spokesman for the US-led coalition, admitted that the US and its allies had lost a race for the Syrian-Iraqi border to government forces and that the Pentagon has no problems with the anti-ISIS operation of the Syrian-Iranian-Russian alliance in the area. But, it looks that somebody in the White House has a problem with this.

Russia has slammed as “unacceptable” the U.S. threats against the legitimate leadership in Syria following a recent White House statement alleging that this leadership is planning a chemical attack.

“We heard about this statement. We don’t know what it’s based on. And, of course, we strongly disagree with the wording ‘another attack,” the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Novosti agency on Tuesday.

“We also consider any similar threats to the legitimate leadership of the Syrian Arab Republic unacceptable,” Peskov stressed.

“The Syrian government cannot be held accountable for the April 4 chemical attack in Idleb province “because, as you know, despite all Russia’s demands, an unbiased international investigation of the previous tragedy has not been carried out,” he added.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry has said it is “bewildered and disappointed” over new US sanctions targeting eight Russian companies, including defense firms and pilot training academies, which the State Department claims engage in “proliferation” activity with Iran, North Korea and Syria.

After months of mudslinging and vitriol, US President-elect Donald Trump was greeted this week by a chummy President Obama with a cozy fireside seat at the White House. Some media outlets sniped at Trump’s surprise election calling him the “first reality TV star to become president”. In truth, the whole US political system seems to be a reality TV show.

In the weeks up to polling day on November 8, Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton and large sections of the US media were denouncing Trump as a “Russian stooge”. Trump’s alleged friendliness towards Russian President Vladimir Putin was said to be proof that the Republican candidate was a “Kremlin agent”.

Think about it. How could Trump be painted one day as a beneficiary of Russian espionage, and then the next day literally, he is being feted as the “45th president of the USA” – whom, as Obama says, “we are rooting for”?

For his part, Donald Trump also plays a starring role in the US democracy charade. During their fireside meeting in the White House, the billionaire property tycoon called Obama a “very good man” and said that he would seek his counsel in the future.

This is the same “very good man” whom Trump had earlier accused of being the “creator of the ISIS [Daesh] terror group”.

Trump’s polite deference to Obama this week, and vice versa, shows in an unintended way what Obama meant when he said “we are all on one team”. That “team” is the American oligarchy. These may be mere words, not backed up by U.S. foreign policy changes, if Trump continues to bring discredited neo-conservatives – neocons – from the administrations of Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush into his inner circle of advisers and, potentially, into senior national security and foreign policy positions in his administration.

While Vice President-elect Mike Pence, the official chairman of Trump’s presidential transition team, is concentrating on domestic policy appointments, Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, the publisher of the New York Observer and someone who is very much aligned with the right-wing Likud Party of Israel, has become the de facto chair of the Trump transition team where national security matters are involved.

Already booted from the transition team by Kushner have been New Jersey Governor Chris Christie; Global Impact, Inc. CEO Matthew Freedman, a national security adviser to Christie; and Mike Rogers, the former House Intelligence Committee chairman. U.S. President Barack Obama has just given the Pentagon orders to assassinate commanders of the Al-Nusra terror network in Syria. American media reports over the weekend say the new urgency arises from US intelligence fears that al Qaeda-affiliated groups are preparing to mount terror attacks against Western targets from strongholds in Syria.

The purported U.S. «kill list» will be acted on through drone strikes and «intelligence assets». The latter refers, presumably, to U.S. special forces that are already operating in northern Syria alongside Turkish military.

The US is supporting al Nusra, despite the latter being an internationally proscribed terrorist organization at the heart of the so-called American «war on terror».

That charge has been corroborated by claims made by Nusra commanders who say that they have been receiving covert weapons supplies from the Americans. It is also substantiated by recent finds of US weaponry among terrorist dens that have been over-run by the Syrian Arab Army.

So, the question is: what is this latest urgency from the Pentagon to wipe out Nusra’s leadership in Syria really about?

First, let’s note that the implied precision of terrorist «kill lists» that the Americans and British are suddenly working on seems incongruous given that these NATO powers have up to now apparently been unable to furnish Russia with coordinates for extremist bases in Syria.

A former US Army Ranger [over at Sofrep.com] which bills itself as a kind of unofficial newsletter of the US Special Forces has a fascinating scoop on the attitudes of American soldiers to their Syria training mission. Read the opening paragraph:

A former Green Beret says that “Everyone on the ground knows they are jihadis. No one on the ground believes in this mission or this effort, and they know they are just training the next generation of jihadis, so they are sabotaging it” …

The Green Beret explains CIA has kicked that job to Special Operations Forces while becoming obsessed with toppling the Syrian government:

“CTC [CIA’s Counter-Terrorism Center] targeted the ISIS organization, but not often enough to have any tangible effect on the battlespace…. … …Distinguishing between the FSA and al-Nusra is impossible, because they are virtually the same organization. ‘MORELL THE KILLER’ STORY:

The Khazarians are not hiding it anymore. In their frustration over the effective ongoing global active resistance against their genocidal plans throughout the Middle East and elsewhere around the globe, they could not contain their evil desires anymore.
They just want to have Hillary Clinton in power at all cost, embed themselves within her government, and kill all their enemies abroad as they are already doing at home.

Former acting CIA Director Michael Morell said in an interview Monday that U.S. policy in Syria should be to make Iran and Russia “pay a price” by arming local groups and instructing them to kill Iranian and Russian personnel in the country.

Morell was appearing on the Charlie Rose show on PBS in the wake of his publicly endorsing Hillary Clinton on the New York Timesopinion pages.

Clinton has expressed support for increased military intervention in Syria against Bashar al-Assad’s Syrian government. Iran and Russia are backing Assad.

“What they need is to have the Russians and Iranians pay a little price,” Morell said. “When we were in Iraq, the Iranians were giving weapons to the Shia militia, who were killing American soldiers, right? The Iranians were making us pay a price. We need to make the Iranians pay a price in Syria. We need to make the Russians pay a price.”

Morell said the killing of Russians and Iranians should be undertaken “covertly, so you don’t tell the world about it, you don’t stand up at the Pentagon and say ‘we did this.’ But you make sure they know it in Moscow and Tehran.”

Morell also proposed that U.S. forces begin bombing Syrian government installations, including government offices, aircraft and presidential guard positions. Various news outlets have confirmed reports that [last month of June] Russian warplanes bombed a remote outpost in Syria used by U.S. and British special forces (CIA, MI6), and then in July a camp for members of Central Intelligence Agency which are supporting, close to the Jordan border, mercenary-terrorists fighting in Syria.

Within moments of the first bombing run, US liaison offices contacted their Russian counterparts, warning them that in fact they had hit a US run installation.

What began as a brainstorm erupted into a full blown conspiracy theory when a Politico reporter poured gas on the fire claiming that his Turkish source believed the coup was a staged performance.

Social media is abuzz with new claims that Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan faked the coup attempt against the government after the country’s leader called the botched overthrow “a gift from Allah.” Posting under #TheaterNotCoup social media users ask aloud whether the whole think was an elaborate scheme for the Turkish strongman to garner even more control.

The terror proxies that the Central Intelligence Agency has furnished in Syria over the past five years no doubt smell a rat that Washington is about to sell them out.

The Washington Post reported last week: “The Obama administration has proposed a new agreement on Syria to the Russian government that would deepen military cooperation between the two countries against some [sic] terrorists in exchange for Russia getting the Assad regime to stop bombing US-supported rebels.”

Apparently, American solicitations for Russian cooperation has been ongoing for several weeks, perhaps even months. When the Saudi regime’s leaders, including deputy crown prince Mohammed bin Salman (the king’s son), were invited to the White House last month, it is most likely that this key US partner in the Middle East was briefed on the plan. The Saudis weren’t pleased, as indicated by their call immediately following the White House meeting for an escalation of American military intervention in Syria, thus appearing to snub the Obama administration.

American covert supply of weapons into Syria for overthrowing the Assad government has found its way to all factions, including the notorious al-Qaeda-linked terror groups, Al Nusra Front and Daesh (ISIS/ISIL/IS). Washington’s regional partners Saudi Arabia and Turkey have acted as major conduits for this material and financial support to the illegally armed groups.

The notion of legitimate, moderate “rebels” whom the US and its allies allegedly support, as opposed to “terror groups”, is just a risible ruse, as most informed observers of the five-year Syrian war have known from the beginning.

Of course, any distinction between “terrorists” and the palatable-sounding “rebels” is a fiction.

Last week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov protested – yet again – that Washington has not moved decisively to segregate armed factions that it backs from the internationally proscribed terrorists in Al Nusra Front and Daesh. The reason for this is simple: because all these militants are orchestrated by the same state sponsors – the US, its NATO allies, Britain, France and Turkey, and the Arab monarchies of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Russia’s masterstroke was its military operation in Syria last October. That completely turned the tables of this conflict, whereby the US-backed terror proxies for regime change have been thwarted. The Russian operation ensured that allied Syrian armed forces have been able to decimate the US-backed regime-change terror front.

Washington and its partners have not given up on their strategic objective of toppling the Assad government. There is good reason to conjecture that the next US administration following Obama’s departure early in 2017 will ramp up its military involvement in Syria, either by stepping up covert support to its proxies, or by direct American intervention….[…]…

Washington and its allies created the Islamist Frankenstein with their own hands: over the decades radical Muslim ‘agents of destruction’ have formed the belt of instability which stretches across the MENA region to Central Asia and beyond. But how did it all begin?

Back in December 1979 the USSR deployed a limited contingent of Soviet troops in Afghanistan in response to repeated requests from the Afghani government.

In April 1979 the Kremlin rejected Kabul’s plea to send Soviet ground troops to the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, explaining that the move would add the fuel to the fire of the Afghani internal strife.

However, the situation in Afghanistan soon spun out of control, threatening security of the USSR border regions. In this context the Kremlin made the decision to step in.

Interestingly enough, Brzezinski admitted that by kicking off its covert operation in Afghanistan in summer 1979, Washington wanted to “increase the probability” of the Soviet intervention. It was actually a trap set by the US hawks for the USSR in the Central Asia, according to the former National Security Advisor.

Zbigniew Brzezinski to the Mujahideen: “Your cause is right and God is on your side!”.

However, the story of Islamist insurgency in the MENA region (North Africa and Middle East) and Central Asia is far from being over. Today, in addition to Taliban and al-Qaeda the world is also threatened by Daesh and its numerous factions and followers across the globe.

In the late 1980s Pakistani President Benazir Bhutto told President George H. W. Bush, referring to the US-Mujahedeen collaboration: “You are creating a Frankenstein.” Unfortunately, the warning remained largely neglected.

The great investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, in two previous articles in the London Review of Books («Whose Sarin?» and «The Red Line and the Rat Line») has reported that the Obama Administration falsely blamed the government of Syria’s Bashar al-Assad for the sarin gas attack that Obama was trying to use as an excuse to invade Syria; and Hersh pointed to a report from British intelligence saying that the sarin that was used didn’t come from Assad’s stockpiles.

Hersh also said that a secret agreement in 2012 was reached between the Obama Administration and the leaders of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, to set up a sarin gas attack and blame it on Assad so that the US could invade and overthrow Assad.

For the first time, Hersh has implicated Hillary Clinton directly in this «rat line». In an interview with Alternet.org, Hersh was asked about the then-US-Secretary-of-State’s role in the Benghazi Libya US consulate’s operation to collect weapons from Libyan stockpiles and send them through Turkey into Syria for a set-up sarin-gas attack, to be blamed on Assad in order to ‘justify’ the US invading Syria, as the US had invaded Libya to eliminate Gaddafi.

The Saudi royal family, who own the world’s largest oil company, Aramco, don’t want to wait any longer. Obama is the first US President to have seriously tried to carry out their long-desired «regime change» in Syria, so as to enable not only the Sauds’ Trans-Arabian Pipeline to be built, but also to build through Syria the Qatar-Turkey Gas Pipeline that the Thani royal family (friends of the Sauds) who own Qatar want also to be built there. The US is allied with the Saud family (and with their friends, the royal families of Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, and Oman).

The big news out of Syria over the past couple of days has been that Syrian government forces with the help of the Russian military have taken back control of Palmyra from ISIS.

The fall of Palmyra and subsequent destruction of the spectacular Roman ruins there by ISIS horrified the civilized world.

The US government had claimed from the beginning that the Russians were not targeting ISIS at all, but only the “moderate” rebels supported by Washington.

That lie now stands bare in newly-liberated Palmyra and onward, as Syrian government troops aided by the Russians speed east toward the “capital” of the Islamic State, Raqqa.

Meanwhile, the five year US “regime change” effort in Syria chugs along in a very different way. We learned in a Los Angeles Times report yesterday that the US is now at war with…itself in Syria.

If the American presidential election winds up with Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump, and my passport is confiscated, and I’m somehow FORCED to choose one or the other, or I’m PAID to do so, paid well … I would vote for Trump.

My main concern is foreign policy. American foreign policy is the greatest threat to world peace, prosperity, and the environment. And when it comes to foreign policy, Hillary Clinton is an unholy disaster.

What Russia is bombing in actuality is an al-Qaeda, extremist dominated opposition embedded with CIA-backed ‘rebels’ operating under their control.

The not-so-moderates only operate under license from, and in support of, the Salafi jihadists, openly expressing their solidarity with them, labelling them as ‘brothers’, and begging the U.N. to protect them.

Due to porous links between Free Syrian Army, other Islamist groups like al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham, and ISIS, there have been prolific weapons transfers from ‘moderate’ to Islamist militant groups”.

Several rebel groups, 5 of which belong to the FSA, have recently united under the leadership of the former emir of the al-Qaeda-linked Ahrar al-Sham.

A longtime al-Qaeda member who sits on al-Nusra’s elite council explained that:
“The Free Syrian Army groups said they were ready for anything according to the Islamic sharia and that we are delegated to apply the rulings of the sharia on them”, essentially meaning that the FSA had subordinated themselves to al-Qaeda.

It has been further revealed that all of the Syrian groups operative in Aleppo had recently declared Ba’yaa (loyalty) to the Ahrar al-Sham emir Abu Jaber.

US officials still continue to maintain that Russia’s bombing campaign in Syria, launched last fall, has infuriated the CIA in particular because the strikes have aggressively targeted relatively moderate rebels it has backed with military supplies, including antitank missiles.

Testifying Tuesday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Secretary of State John Kerry faced intensely hostile questioning as he defended a Syrian “cessation of hostilities” reached with Moscow that is supposed to go into effect this weekend.

Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer of California suggested that the agreement might be little more than a “rope-a-dope” deal, while the committee’s Republican chairman, Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee, warned that Russia would “continue to kill the folks that are our friends and allies.”

Kerry responded by stressing that there was a “significant discussion taking place now about a Plan B,” presumably entailing a major escalation of the US military intervention in Syria and a potential armed confrontation with Russia, should the truce deal fail to further Washington’s aims.

The key sticking point in the US-Russian deal is precisely the status of those to whom Senator Corker referred as “the folks that are our friends and allies.” He, like the Obama administration, the Pentagon, the CIA, and the entire political and media establishment, carefully avoided any precise identification of these “folks.”

The dirty secret they are all doing their best to conceal is that Washington’s most important “friend” and “ally” in the war for regime change in Syria has been, since its inception nearly five years ago, Al Qaeda. It is this criminal relationship that is at the heart of the difficulties in brokering any kind of negotiated halt to the grinding sectarian war that has killed more than a quarter of a million Syrians and turned 11 million more into homeless refugees.

The cessation of hostilities that is supposed to take place on Saturday specifically excludes both the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), a split-off from Al Qaeda, and the al-Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s designated Syrian franchise. The High Negotiations Committee, the Syrian “rebel” front cobbled together by the Saudi monarchy for the purpose of UN-sponsored negotiations, has rejected any ceasefire that fails to protect al-Nusra.

US intelligence analysts have warned that al-Nusra and the so-called “moderate” terrorists promoted by Washington are “intermingled.” Brett McGurk, the Obama administration’s envoy to the “coalition” participating in the US-led war in Iraq and Syria, told a White House press briefing Tuesday that the supposed moderates and the Al Qaeda group “are marbled together”.
