Footage emerged on Saturday of Iraqi pro-government fighters using anti-aircraft weaponry to shoot at US-led coalition jet near al-Tanf border crossing in Southeastern Homs, media sources reported.

An amateur video released by a fighter of the Badr Movement, an Iraqi contingent, showed that the Iraqi pro-government forces opened heavy fire at the coalition’s fighter jet.

The Badr Movement operates alongside the Syrian Army, Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), 313 Forces (Syrian militia), the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters, Harakat al-Abdal (Iraqi paramilitary), Kata’ib al-Imam Ali (Iraqi paramilitary), Kata’ib Hezbollah (Iraqi paramilitary) along the Damascus-Baghdad highway.

A report said on Friday that the Syrian Army sent a large number of fresh forces to the Damascus-Baghdad highway in the Southern part of the country to reinforce contingents bombed by the United States Air Forces.

Hundreds of the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iraqi fighters have also poured into the Southeastern countryside of Damascus in the last ten days, taking up positions alongside the Syrian Army troops and their allies.

The AMN reported that the Iraqi fighters, comprised of forces from the Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd Al-Shaabi), greatly outnumber the Hezbollah forces in Southern Syria.

It added that similar to Hezbollah’s field operations along the Lebanese border since 2013, the Iraqi paramilitaries are poised to not only secure the Baghdad-Damascus Highway, but also, seal the border to the terrorists………………………….

Russian long-range bombers hit Daesh targets near Deir ez-Zor

Six long-range bombers have flown all the way from Russia to the Syrian governorate of Deir ez-Zor to attack Islamic State (Daesh, IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) targets, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. A similar raid was conducted on Saturday.

The Tupolev Tu-22M3 bombers flew through Iranian and Iraqi airspace on Monday and conducted airstrikes on the terrorist group’s command centers and weapons stockpiles, the ministry said in a statement.

The Russian military said all targets were successfully destroyed.

As in Saturday’s raids, fighter jets from Russia’s airbase in Khmeimim, Syria, were scrambled to protect the bombers in Syrian airspace as they carried out their mission, according to the statement…………………

Les attaques consécutives de Deach contre Deir ez-Zor depuis la libération d’Alep s’expliquent par un changement de tactique et de stratégie du groupe terroriste et de ses alliés.

La province de Deir ez-Zor se trouve dans la prolongation de deux grandes provinces irakiennes que sont Al-Anbar et Ninive. C’est une province qui abrite les champs et les installations pétrogaziers syriens tout comme les silos de céréales et de blé.

Le nouveau round des attaques de Daech a débuté il y a deux semaines suivant un plan préétabli et dans le strict objectif de s’emparer de la ville et au-delà de la totalité de la province.

Daech a tenté d’abord de couper les liens entre l’aéroport militaire de Deir ez-Zor et la ville elle-même.

Le plan prémédité que Daech poursuit se résume en quelques mots : les terroristes veulent pousser les forces syriennes à « évacuer » l’est de la Syrie, ce qui leur permettrait de s’en emparer.

Une fois Daech bien installé, les États-Unis enverraient leur contingent « kurde », à savoir les « Forces démocratiques syriennes » à reprendre Deir ez-Zor.

D’ailleurs cette même tactique a été appliquée avec succès à Hassaka, reprise totalement par les Kurdes. Les Forces démocratiques suivent aussi le même plan à Hassaka et c’est sous couvert de « libérer Raqqa » qu’ils cherchent à annexer cette ville à leur « futur État ».

La récente offensive de Daech contre Deir ez-Zor a une nouvelle fois prouvé le rôle et l’implication des Américains dans la crise syrienne, une crise où ils suivent pas à pas des objectifs fixés depuis longtemps. Même les médias outre-Atlantique n’ont pas honte de le dire : sans l’aide des États-Unis, Daech n’aurait jamais pu lancer son offensive contre Deir ez-Zor. En effet dans cette province, les combats se déroulent directement entre les forces syriennes et les forces US par Daech interposé…………..

The Syrian Air Force killed many terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in al-Rashidin neighborhood, to the east of Orum al-Sughra, Abu Shailem, Qabtan al-Jabal and Khan Touman in the countryside of Aleppo province.

Earlier, the Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles and positions for ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of al-Shaer field and in Rahoum, Um al-Reesh and to the north of Abu al-Alaya in the eastern countryside of Homs province, according to a military source.

Army and Armed Forces units killed a number of “Jaish al-Fateh” terrorists, including a Jabhat al-Nusra leader who named Mehdi al-Abed, and destroyed four vehicles and a pickup car in al-Latamina, Mourek and Kafar Zita in the northern countryside of Hama province.

A military source announced Sunday re-establishing control over the Air Defense Battalion in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo province after eliminating terrorist groups of the so-called “Jaish al-Fatah” that had earlier infiltrated the site.

Army units destroyed positions, mortars, armored vehicles and cars equipped with machine guns belonging to terrorists of “Al-Izza Gathering”, “Jaish al-Nassr” and Jabhat al-Nusra in Souran, Tal al-Naserriyeh, al-Latamina, Tibet al-Imam, Morek, al-Lahaya, al-Zallaqiat, Maarakba and Kafr Zita in the countryside of Hama, a military source said.

Units of army and armed forces, in cooperation with the supporting forces and backed by the air and artillery forces, thwarted ISIS terrorists’ attempt to attack a number of military posts and the villages of al-Taybeh, al-Mofakar al-Sharqi and Aqareb and some defensive points on the oil line in the eastern countryside of al-Salamiyeh city in the countryside of Hama province. Syrian Army, Popular Forces Take back Al-Assad Hospital from Daesh in Deir Ezzur

The Syrian Army troops and tribal fighters, in a rapid attack, pushed the ISIL back from al-Assad Hospital in the Western suburb of Deir Ezzur city and ended the terrorists’ hours-long control over part of the medical center, city sources said.

“The ISIL terrorists, who stormed the hospital on Saturday and captured part of it, were attacked by the Syrian soldiers and their tribal allies,” the sources said, adding, “The entire ISIL members were killed right on the spot.”

“The hospital is under the full control of the Syrian government forces,” the sources said.

“A number of physicians and medical staff, taken hostages by the ISIL, were freed in the army attack,” they added.

“The ISIL terrorists executed brutally some of the hostages before the army’s attack,” the sources went on to say.

Four U.S.- led coalition warplanes targeted with 9 rockets one of the Syrian army’s posts in Deir Ezzor province, claiming the lives of 3 soldiers and injuring 13 others in addition to destroying three armored vehicles, four military vehicles, 23 mm machinegun, 14.5 machinegun and a depot of arms and ammunition.

The incident is the first of its kind since the coalition started to bomb Syrian territory more than a year ago.

The Deir ez Zor province is situated in eastern Syria, and is largely controlled by Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). The region is of significant strategic importance to the terrorist group, as it contains a number of oilfields, which are a major source of revenue for IS.

This act of war means only one thing: that the alliance led by the US does not fight against the Daesh terrorists, but it supports and defends them, in a time when the terrorist gangs are undergoing tough losses on the ground, at the hands of the Syrian Arab Army and of the Russian and Syrian Air Forces.

The US-led coalition’s airstrikes in Syria are in fact illegal, as it has never received permission from Syrian President Bashar Assad to enter the country’s airspace. In response to the UK’s decision to join the bombing campaign in Syria, Assad reiterated in an interview with the Sunday Times that the presence of Britain in Syria is unlawful as neither Damascus nor the United Nations have given London the green light to bomb Syrian territory.

“It will be harmful and illegal and it will support terrorism, as happened after the coalition started its operation a year or so [ago], because this is like a cancer,” Assad said.
