The US and the Israeli regime have begun joint military drills with the presence of thousands of troops, with the declared aim being improving combat readiness of the two sides’ militaries for a joint regional conflict and also exploring ways to address possible missile attacks.

The drills, code named Juniper Cobra, include simulation of a scenario that leads to the American troops’ entry to Occupied Palestinian territories and jointly working to secure its airspace.

Reportedly, so far some 2,500 American military personnel and dozens of military vehicles have also been deployed to join the exercises. On the Israeli side, some 2,000 troops will also take roles.

The military drills are scheduled to last for two weeks. The main part started from March 4 and will last until March 15, but the practices and training will last to the end of the month, according to sources familiar will the event.

Syrian army has intercepted missiles Israeli regime’s fighter jets fired towards a military position near the capital, Damascus.

In a statement carried by state media on Wednesday, the army said the Israeli aircraft used Lebanese airspace for the missile strikes.

Loud blasts were heard in Damascus at around 3:30 a.m. local time.

“Our air defense systems blocked them and destroyed most of them,” said the statement.

The latest attack on Syria came shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid a rare visit to the occupied part of Syria’s Golan Heights and peered across the border.

In a letter sent to the UN Secretary General and Security Council President, the Ministry said that on 3:42 am on Wednesday in 7/2/2018, the Israeli occupation attacked once again the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, as Israeli aircrafts fired missiles from the Lebanese airspace on an area in Damascus Countryside province.

As ISIS’ self-proclaimed Caliphate collapsed in Syria, the Israeli military intensified their strikes on forces and facilities belonging to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies. The goal of the effort is to weaken pro-government forces ahead of a possible new round of escalation in the region.

On December 4, warplanes allegedly from Israel conducted airstrikes on the Dumair Airbase. According to reports, the airstrikes hit the radar installation and destroyed it.

On December 5, Israeli warplanes launched missiles on the scientific research center in the area of Jumraya in northern Damascus. According to the Syrian state-run media, Syrian air defense systems intercepted three of the missiles. The rest of the missiles – 3 or 4 – hit the target.

The Tiger Forces and their allies have liberated 5 villages and 3 hills from ISIS in the province of Deir Ezzor.

Government troops have captured the villages of Khutaytah, Abbas, Mazra’at Shamr, Qit’ah, Mujawwadah, the Nusuriyah Mountain and the hills of Bani and Khinzir. The Tiger Forces also outflanked and stormed the ISIS-held village of Jalaa – one of the last ISIS strong points in the area.

The SAA and the Tiger Forces are now in only about 12km from reaching their counterparts in the area of al-Bukamal. The rapid advance of pro-government forces show that the ISIS defenses have de-facto collapsed in the Euphrates Valley.

Some of the military aid sent to the Syrian opposition by Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the US may have ended up in the hands of Al-Qaeda-affiliated Al-Nusra terrorists, the Qatari foreign minister has admitted.

The revelations, which are the first of their kind to emerge, were contained in a statement by Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, who served as Qatari foreign minister between 1992 and 2013.

When the conflict started in Syria back in 2011, Hamad bin Jassim said that he went straight to the late Saudi King Abdullah, who then supported Doha’s plan on Syria.

While Qatar is now being accused by the Gulf kingdoms of backing terrorism, Hamad bin Jassim insists that when the Syrian crisis broke out, Doha, Riyadh and Washington were “in one and the same trench” in their vision on supporting anti-Assad militants.

He made the comments during a television interview with Qatar TV in October.

According to the former minister, all aid destined for the Syrian rebels passed via Turkey and was coordinated with the US forces. 

“All aid distributed on Syrian territory was also coordinated by the US forces,” said Hamad bin Jassim who also served as Qatari prime minister between 2007 and 2013.

He did not specify who exactly was to receive the aid, but the US – together with Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey – have repeatedly voiced their support for Syrian opposition and issued both humanitarian and military aid to anti-government militants… … …

Libyan authorities arrested a leader and mosque preacher of the ISIS terrorist group who later confessed to be a Mossad officer.

According to the Libyan authorities, preacher Abu Hafs’ real name is Benjamin Efraim, an Israeli national operating in one of Mossad’s special units which conduct espionage operations in Arab and Islamic countries.

A senior Iranian official [the Iranian Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani] has warned that the Zionist lobby is carrying out widespread activities to steer the political and security equations in the region toward undermining the legal Syrian government.

In a meeting with Russia’s special envoy on Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, in Tehran on Saturday, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani said all sides involved in the Syrian crisis must respect the country’s national sovereignty.

“Any agreement must not undermine this unchangeable principle or prepare the ground for Syria’s breakup,” he added.

“The Zionist regime [of Israel] forms deep and extensive bonds with terrorist groups and their sponsors and seeks to make use of these groups as an instrument to allegedly secure Israel’s borders and to continue with the suppression of the oppressed Palestinian people,” he said.

The SNSC secretary described as “unacceptable and worrisome” moves by certain terrorist elements to take advantage of political talks and ceasefire to recover.

“These elements are not committed to any agreement or deal and will use any opportunity to kill innocent people and pursue their own inhumane objectives,” Shamkhani said………………………….

The Foreign and Expatriate Ministry affirmed that Syria categorically rejects the announcement by the Israeli occupation on holding elections of the so-called “local councils” on October 2018 in the villages of the occupied Syrian Golan, stressing that the Golan is an integral part of the Syrian territory and that it will return to the motherland sooner or later.

The source added that the Israeli aggression comes as a desperate attempt to raise the collapsed morale of terrorist groups due to the Syrian army’s blows and this aggression will not dissuade the army from continuing the war against terrorism and crushing it.

Lebanese media reported a large blast in the vicinity of the airport early Thursday, speculating that the explosion at the fuel depot could have been carried out by Israel.

“The missiles were fired from the occupied territory, which led to explosions on the ground and property damage,” the Syrian military source specified.

Syrian Air Defense shots down one of 4 Israeli warplanes targeting military site near Palmyra.

The General Command of the Army and the Armed Forced announced on Friday that the Syrian air defense downed one of four Israeli warplanes that violated the Syrian airspace and targeted a military site in the eastern countryside of Homs.

According to a statement by the Command, the four Israeli aircrafts violated the Syrian airspace in al-Breij area through the Lebanese territories at 2:40 am.

The Israeli warplanes targeted a military site near Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs, said the Army’s Command, confirming that the Syria air defense forces confronted the enemy’s aircrafts and shot down one of them inside the occupied territories, hit another and forced the other two to withdraw.

Do not believe the Zionist lies. Their aircraft were not targeting a convoy of trucks carrying ground-to-ground missiles bound for Hizbollah bases in the Lebanon.

In fact, the bombers were targeting Syrian Army operations near Palmyra, specifically those having to do with removal of rats from oil and gas fields which ISIS desperately needs to keep its cash flow viable…………

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched at 3:00 am Wednesday a number of surface-to-surface missiles from inside the occupied territories to the west of Tall Abu al-Nada (hill) that landed in the surroundings of al-Mezzeh Airport west of Damascus, a Syrian military source said.

The source said that the attack caused a fire to erupt in the site where the missiles hit, adding that no human casualties were reported.

The source noted that the attack is part of the “desperate attempts” of the Zionist entity to support the terrorist groups and raise their deteriorating morale.

Israel says it has hit two Syrian army targets in the Golan Heights in response to what it calls stray fire from the Syrian side.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said on Monday that the Tel Aviv regime forces launched strikes against two Syrian army positions in the Golan Heights overnight.

She provided no further details about the targets that were struck or the weapons Israeli forces used to attack them.

The overnight attack came in response to what Israel called stray fire coming from the Syrian side.

Tel Aviv, which is believed to be one of the key supporters of terrorist groups in Syria, has targeted the region several times in recent years.

In September last year, Israel launched at least three airstrikes against Syrian army positions in the Golan Heights.

A Yemeni missile strike hit a Saudi-led coalition military base in Asir province where Israel’s military experts are stationed.

The Khamis Mushait air base in Asir province came under Yemen’s Qaher-I ballistic missile on Tuesday.

There were no immediate report on the exact number of casualties, but eyewitnesses confirmed that the Yemeni missile precisely hit Khamis Mushait airbase.
The Yemeni missile attack came in retaliation for the Saudi airstrikes on Yemen’s civilians.

This is not the first time that Saudi Arabia is using services of the Israeli top security company.

Grupo armado de la oposición siria pidió al gobierno de Israel que les brinde apoyo en su lucha contra el Ejército sirio.

Nabil al-Dandel, comandante del denominado Ejército Libre Sirio (ELS), en entrevista concedida al diario Yedioth Ahronoth, expresó su disposición para mantener negociaciones de paz con Israel.
Al-Dandel, quien envió una carta al presidente del parlamento israelí, Yuli Edelstein, en la que exige el apoyo de Tel Aviv a la llamada oposición armada en su lucha contra el Gobierno de Damasco, expresó que “Israel tiene la oportunidad de hacer la paz con el pueblo sirio, ya que el pueblo sirio quiere la paz con Israel. Sin embargo, Israel tiene que anunciar que se encuentra de su lado y no del Gobierno de Al Assad”.

Syrian Arab Army advances aroud al-Shaer gas field, destroys terrorist positions in other areas.

The Syrian Army Air Force on Tuesday launched air strikes against ISIS positions, destroying their gatherings and vehicles in a number of province.

A Syrian Army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established control over al-Sawan Hill which overlooks the the road linking al-Eqeirbat junction with al-Shaer field (Homs province).

In the northern countryside of Homs, an army unit clashed with terrorist groups that attacked military points, killing a number of their members, including the so called “Abu Sanad” and “Abu Aseel” who are identified as military leaders operating within “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” and Jabhat al-Nusra.

Vehicles and positions for the ISIS terrorists were destroyed in sorties against their gatherings in Deir Ezzor.

Car laden with weapons and explosives confiscated in Sweida countryside.

Authorities confiscated a vehicle loaded with different sorts of weapons and explosives, some of which are U.S. and Israeli-made in the western countryside of Sweida.

The authorities ambushed a pickup truck that was laden with 200 kg of explosives, 32 U.S. and Israeli – made mines and a TWO missile, in addition to different sorts of shells and ammunition in the administrative borderlines between Sweida and Daraa southern provinces.

The Syrian authorities, in cooperation with the local Popular Defence Forces, confiscated Wednesday morning [27/4/2016] a car loaded with Israeli-made mines, mortar rounds, RPGs and grenades in the western countryside of Sweida province.

The weapons, coming from the eastern countryside of Daraa, probably smuggled via the Jordanian border or through the Golan heights occupied by the Zionist entity, were destined for Daesh (ISIS) terrorist gangs still positioned in the eastern Badiya.

The confiscated weaponry includes:
– Israeli-made anti-personnel landmines
– RPG launcher and rounds
– B9 shells
– 120 mm, 80 mm and 60 mm mortars
– grenades
– 23 mm machineguns rounds.

The terrorist car-driver was killed.

The scourge known as Daesh, aka the «Islamic» State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) and the Islamic State (IS), has long been in the making: in the think tanks and military planning offices of Israel.

The plan to have a group like ISIL rend apart the Arab nation-states of the Middle East is enshrined in two Israeli policies:

1 – «A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties» written in 1982 by former Israeli Foreign Ministry official Oded Yinon
and
2 – «A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm», largely written American neo-conservative war hawk Richard Perle for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and issued in 1996.

The latter report included contributions from Perle’s fellow Israeli agents-of-influence who have migrated in and out of sensitive United States government positions: Douglas Feith and David and Meyrav Wurmser.
