Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin said that currently the situation in Lebanon is under control, and that Moscow does not expect military escalation there.
Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri resigned on November 4 in a declaration read from Saudi Arabia, pushing Lebanon back to the forefront of a regional struggle between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Zasypkin added that in the case of a new military action against Lebanon-based Hezbollah organization, Israel will “suffer substantial casualties”.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia accused Iran of conducting acts of “direct military aggression” and accused Lebanon of “declaring war” on Riyadh by allowing Hezbollah “aggression” against the kingdom.
A warlike rhetoric against Iran, Lebanon and Hezbollah are a clear sign of this. While Iran is a potent regional power in military and diplomatic terms, Hezbollah is a non-state actor. So, Riyadh may choose the group as an enemy for its risky foreign policy undertaking.
Saudi Arabia and Israel are obvious allies in their will to destroy Hezbollah. On November 5, Tel Aviv started the largest-ever aerial exercise in the history of Israel.
A leaked diplomatic cable confirmed that the Saudis and Israelis are coordinating their efforts against Iran and Hezbollah thus escalating the already tense situation in the Middle East.
The region may be heading for another large-scale military conflict… … …

Saudi Arabia’s GDP reached almost 800 billion dollars in 2014 with а military budget of more than 70 billion dollars. The country that has a population of less than 30 million people and an army of 233,500 units is ranked third in the world in military spending. The technology and weaponry which is used by the Saudi military is one of the most modern one, and most of the other countries in the region can hardly compete in modernization with the Saudi’s, with the exception of Israel. Although being rich and having a highly modernized army, Saudi Arabia heavily relies on overseas partners for its security and assistance in military training and development. The main allies of this Gulf monarchy are France, the U.S. and the UK; this summer alone, the Saudis spent around 4-5 billion dollars on London’s arms expo also known as DSEI. Therefore why is YouTube full of videos posted by sparsely equipped Houthi rebels showing state-of-the-art US-manufactured weapons belonging to the Saudi military being easily blown up by Russian-made anti-tank missiles?
If numbers were all that mattered in terms of military effectiveness, the Saudis should not have had any problems in Yemen.
But war is not won only by how many advanced weapons you have, but how far a patriot soldier is ready to go to defend his or her country. A highly motivated numerically and technologically inferior army could prevail over a much greater force… … …

At least 5 Bahraini people have been killed in regime forces’ raid on the town of Diraz. According to Bahraini Interior Ministry, more than 280 people were also detained during the attack. Following the incident, protesters poured into the streets in several towns across the country to condemn the bloody attack. The demonstrators chanted anti-government slogans and expressed solidarity with the country’s top cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim. Bahraini forces fired tear gas to disperse the angry crowd. The raid on Diraz comes two days after a Bahraini court sentenced Sheikh Qassim to one year in prison. The measure drew criticism from both inside and outside the tiny Persian Gulf kingdom. The Yemeni army and People’s Committees Navy attacked and seriously damaged, off the coast of Hodeidah, a warship belonging to the forces of the Saudi aggressor while it was targeting civilians and civilian facilities, violating the sovereignty of Yemen.
A Yemeni Army source stated that the military target has been achieved by a guided missile, explaining that the bombing of the Saudi warship is part of the battle waged by the Yemeni army and people’s committees in the western coasts of the country.
The Yemeni source said that Saudi warship was carrying 176 soldiers, officers, weaponry and helicopters, stressing that they were participating in the aggression against the western coasts, destroying villages of fishermen.
The navy and coastal defense of the Yemeni Coast Guard, had warned and denounced in January 21th, about the use of the international corridor by the Saudi battleships to assault and bomb civilian targets. They said in a statement that “The Saudi warships, which are using the international corridor to assault and bomb Yemeni civilian targets, are also posing a major threat to the international navigation in the Red Sea”. ~ (translation by SyrianPatriots)

The Saudi-led Islamic military alliance is ostensibly interested in joining the United States and its allies in their efforts to tackle Daesh in Iraq and Syria, but political analyst Alexander Sotnichenko suggested that Riyadh and other members of its counterterrorism coalition pursue a different agenda.
“It is in the interest of the United States and its allies to draw foreign forces to divide Syria in the first place.
The fact that members of the Islamic coalition have become increasingly active could indicate that they want to make it in time for Syria’s partition,” he told Vzglyad.
The political analyst said that Syria’s future could be in trouble if Baghdad pushes Daesh out of Iraq earlier than Damascus tackles the terrorist group on its territory.
“In this case the coalition forces assisted by the United States and the Gulf states could cross Iraq’s border with Syria and advance further west.
As a result they will end up taking control over a large part of Syria, which they will refuse to transfer to the Syrian government,” he said…………….

The Yemeni army, backed by popular forces, took control of several military bases in Saudi Arabia’s Asir province.
(ENG) ~ The military bases which are located in the Western part of al-Rabou’a city were taken after intense clashes between the Yemeni and Saudi forces.
The images released after the operation showed the Saudi military men leaving their armored vehicles and fleeing the battlefield.
Yemeni forces fired ballistic missiles at the facilities of the Saudi state oil giant, Aramco, in the kingdom’s Southwest and Abha airport in Assir province in a retaliatory attack launched after Saudi fighter jets targeted civilians.
The retaliatory attack took place on Tuesday morning, hitting targets in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan region and causing considerable damage to the Aramco facilities there, the Arabic-language news website Al Masirah reported.
A Qaher-I missile also hit the Saudi military positions at Abha airport in Assir province.

Hundreds of family members of the Saudi soldiers and officers fighting in Yemen war gathered in front of al-Yamama palace in Riyadh to call for returning their beloved ones from unjustified aggression.
According to the Yemeni Press news website, hundreds of Saudi people called for ending the country’s war against Yemen.
Eye-witnesses and foreign journalists reported that the protesters gathered in front of al-Yamama palace and asked for the return of their sons from Yemen battlefields.
At the same time, the Saudi army is trying hard to prevent the Yemeni army and popular forces from making further advance deep into the kingdom.
The move by the Saudi army comes as the Yemeni forces have intensified their military operations against the Riyadh government troops in Jizan province of Saudi Arabia.

When the US and NATO war of aggression was launched against Syria, Dr Nabil Antaki could have abandoned Aleppo to ensure his own safety. Instead he decided to remain and to serve the besieged people of his City, working with various local charities. Above all, he wanted to bear witness to the destruction caused by Western support for the foreign armed groups who have been systematically destroying Syria and terrorising its people for the last 5 years.

3 civilians were killed and another was injured in terrorist rocket attacks by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and affiliated armed groups on two residential neighborhoods in Aleppo city.
A source at Aleppo Police Command said that terrorists fired Wednesday early morning a number of rocket shells on the two residential neighborhoods of Salahudin and al-Khalidiya claiming the lives of three civilians of one family, injuring another and causing big damage to private and public properties.
17 civilians were killed on Tuesday and 68 were injured according to the most recent toll due to terrorist attacks with rocket shells on residential neighborhoods and a hospital in Aleppo City.
Earlier, a source at Aleppo Police Command said that terrorists fired 65 rocket shells on the neighborhoods of al-Neel Street, al-Siryian, al-Khalidyia, al-Mocambo, al-Sabeel and the surroundings of al-Rahman mosque leaving 12 civilians killed and 37 injured.
The source indicated that the terrorist attacks caused a huge material damage to the houses and proprieties of the civilians and to the infrastructure in the targeted neighborhoods.
Later still, terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and terrorist groups affiliated to it fired scores of rocket shells at the neighborhoods of al-Midan, al-Furqan, Nile Street, al-Mukambo, al-Khalidiye, Jami’et al-Zahra’a, al-Ameriye, al-Ramousa, al-Masharqa, al-Muhafaza, al-Meridian, al-Serian, al-Sabeel, and al-Jamiliye in Aleppo city.

A source at Aleppo Police Command said that terrorists fired rocket shells on the neighborhoods of al-Neel Street, al-Siryian, al-Khalidyia, al-Moukambou, al-Sabil and the surroundings of al-Rahman mosque leaving 6 civilians killed and 37 injured.
On Monday, four civilians were injured when a mine planted by ISIS terrorists went off in Taban village in Hasaka southern countryside and a number of persons were wounded in another terrorist attack with rocket shells on Ayn al-Kroum village in Hama northwestern countryside.

Those who have even just a ounce of good sense knows it.
Do not get sucked in by the NATO and Gulf’s mediatic sorcerers and try to clearly understand one thing only, then the rest will be easier to interpret: in Syria there is no “Civil War”, there are no “rebels” nor “resistants”, but only an entire nation, people and army, lucky to have a brave and honest president, who fight and resist against a foreign aggression by criminal psychopaths, both the marionettes that their puppeteers overseas…

The Geneva peace talks have gridlocked as the Saudi-backed Syrian opposition has withdrawn once again, slamming the UN’s diplomatic mediator for “bias.” The Syrian government has reproved the move, blaming the opposition for derailing the negotiations.
“What the Riyadh faction or the so-called Group of Saudi Arabia announced confirms what we have already revealed to public opinion: the Israeli-Saudi-Turkish will to derail inter-Syrian negotiations in Geneva,” Syria’s Chief Negotiator Bashar Jaafari said.“The Saudi Arabia faction only waited two days to announce this commitment to derail the talks, and this is proof that these negotiators do not have the political will essential to establish a serious and responsible dialogue.”
In Russia, which has long been trying to help Syria put end to its five-year civil war, the HNC’s pause was met with clear disappointment.
“The halt of HNC’s participation in the talks is, unfortunately, an evidence that extremists prevail in the composition of this delegation, which from the outset did not want any negotiations and put forward preconditions and ultimatums, and, in fact, continues to rely on the continuation of the bloody armed conflict in the country,” Borodavkin, said.

A team of experts including Americans are overseeing and supervising all papers and responses which the “Riyadh opposition” delegation submits to the UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura, according to sources in the UN.
The sources also said that the delegation’s response to the paper submitted by the Syrian Arab Republic delegation at the Syrian talks in Geneva outlining the “basic elements of a political solution” of the crisis will be under the full supervision of this team.
“Approving these principles will open a serious dialogue under Syrian leadership without foreign intervention and without preconditions,” he added.
The sources mentioned that the “Riyadh opposition” delegation has postponed a scheduled meeting with the UN envoy today so that to let the American experts look the paper through.

At least, 4,000 Saudi mercenaries have been killed during the savage aggression of the Saudi-led Arab coalition against Yemen in the past one year.
Tens of the Saudi mercenaries killed by the Yemeni army and popular forces are Sudanese, Djiboutian, and even Chechnian nationals.
“178 mercenary-commanders are seen among the Saudi death toll in Yemen war”, a fact that has always been kept secret the Saudi media.
This remarks came after the Yemeni army and popular forces destroyed the Saudi military positions and bases in Ma’rib province with a ballistic missile, killing tens of the kingdom’s forces.
Over 4,000 Saudi mercenaries, including 178 commanders, have been killed during the year-long Riyadh-led war against Yemen, a Yemeni intelligence source said.
Despite being armed to the teeth, the Saudi-led coalition has thus far failed to accomplish the objectives Riyadh had set out at the beginning of the 11-months war: undermining the Houthi Ansarullah movement and the reinstalling the former regime—which acquiesced to Saudi demands under resigned President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi—to power.
A field commander of the militia groups loyal to fugitive president Mansour Hadi was killed along with tens of other militants in Ma’rib province.
Yemen’s judiciary system is in possession of documents and evidence showing fugitive President Mansour Hadi’s involvement in massacring the Yemeni people, an Ansarullah leader said on Saturday.

Yemeni forces have reportedly captured at least 150 Saudi mercenaries in the war-hit country’s central province of al-Bayda.
According to a report by Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah news website, the Yemeni army, backed by Popular Committees loyal to the Houthi Ansarullah movement, caught Saudi mercenaries in Rada’ town on Tuesday as they were heading toward a Saudi military base in west-central Ma’rib Province.
The Yemeni army and popular forces have changed their military tactics in their offensives against the Saudi forces in Ta’iz, Ma’rib and al-Jawf provinces which resulted in more military gains for them and inflicted heavy losses on them.
A newly-published report by the pro-Saudi camp in Yemen shows that over 1,600 Saudi-led forces have been killed in just Ta’iz province.
Meantime, a group of other Yemeni forces killed a number of Saudi troops in al-Khanjar military base in al-Jawf province.

The first batch of mercenaries from the private US military firm DynCorp has arrived in the Yemeni city of Aden to replace paid militants from another American company.
Under a USD-3-billion contract between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and DynCorp, mercenaries from the company are to be deployed to Yemen, where UAE forces are fighting against the Yemeni army and Popular Committees on Saudi orders, Khabar News Agency quoted an official with Yemeni Defense Ministry as saying.
The Saudi regime has resorted to the targeted killing of its mercenaries who have changed their stances and defected to the opposition camp in Southern Yemen.
Those assassinated in Lahij province have been killed for changing sides from the US and Saudi Arabia; most of the slain militants have formerly been allies of former fugitive President Mansour Hadi or his former Prime Minister Khaled Bahah.

Yemeni army missiles targeted and destroyed another Saudi warship in the Red Sea in al-Mukha coastal waters near Bab al-Mandeb Strait on Wednesday.
“The missile fired by the army and popular forces destroyed the Saudi warship in al-Khukha coastal waters as it was heading towards the al-Faza coastal region in al-Hudayda province,” Arabic-language media outlets quoted a military source.
The military source reiterated that the Saudi vessel was the 10th of its kind sinking in waters offshore Yemen in the last six months.
Other Saudi battleships that were approaching Yemen’s coasts retreated fast following the attack.

(Finian Cunningham, SputnikNews) ~ Western politicians, media and the Turkish regime are full of it. The latest wave of refugees on the Syrian-Turkish border are, we are told, terrified civilians fleeing Russian air strikes.
No doubt civilians are caught up in this war. But many of those portrayed as refugees fleeing now from the northern city of Aleppo are actually retreating militants, who are capitulating because of Russian and Syrian military success in terminating their insurgency.
As ever distorting reality, the Western news media are transmitting a classic psychological operation in their coverage of the latest stage in what is actually the foreign-backed war of aggression on Syria.
Incredibly, Russia and the Syrian Arab Army are painted as the “bad guys”, and in turn this narrative is used to build a pretext for “responsibility to protect” – the faux humanitarian cover to allow for unwarranted foreign intervention.
It should be emphasized that these groups, which can be objectively defined as “terrorists”, have been trying to overthrow the elected government of Syria on behalf of foreign powers, including the US, Britain, France and their regional client regimes in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey.
According to Syrian sources, most of those on the move out of Aleppo are fighters, who have taken their families with them. Those militants belong to the al-Qaeda-linked brigades of Jabhat al Nusra, Ahrar al Sham, Jaish al Fateh and even the notorious Daesh terror group.

The Saudi plan to send ground troops into Syria appears to be just a ruse. But this is precisely the kind of reckless saber-rattling that could ignite an all-out war, one that could embroil the United States and Russia.
Saudi rulers have reportedly amassed a 150,000-strong army to invade Syria on the alleged pretext “to fight against terrorism” and to defeat the so-called Islamic State (also known as ISIS/ISIL). Saudi officials told CNN that in addition to Saudi troops there are ground forces from Egypt, Turkey, Sudan, Morocco, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem gave a categorical response, saying the move would be seen as an act of aggression and that any invasion force regardless of its stated reasons for entering Syria will be sent back in “wooden coffins”… … …

Yemeni army forces backed by fighters from allied Popular Committees have wrested control of three military bases in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern region of Jizan as Riyadh presses ahead with its military campaign against its southern neighbor.
Yemeni forces established control over the strategic Jabal al-Doud, al-Aril and Madba’ bases in the border region.
The development came only hours after at least one Saudi and three Qatari troopers were killed in a retaliatory shelling attack by Yemeni army soldiers and allied forces against the al-Makhrouq military base in the kingdom’s southern region of Najran.
Yemen’s army forces, backed by Houthi Ansarullah fighters, also downed a Saudi fighter jet and destroyed a number of its gunboats.

In reality, decades of documented evidence reveal that the Saudis are the primary conduit through which Western cash, weapons, support, and directives flow into mercenary armies of extremists, indoctrinated by Saudi Wahhabism – a politically-motivated perversion of Islam – and sent to execute joint Western-Saudi geopolitical ambitions in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and beyond.
Creating a “coalition” to fight “terrorism,” would give the Saudis another rhetorical ploy to hide their increasingly direct role in supporting militarily the terrorist proxies they have deployed and who are now being defeated across the MENA region. Just as the US has done in Syria, using ISIS as a pretext to involve itself directly and militarily in the Syrian conflict without ever actually fighting ISIS, Saudi Arabia is seeking to create a plausible cover story to do the same.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry blames Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey for the ongoing terrorist attacks across the Arab nation.
In two letters sent to the UN Secretary General and the President of the UN Security Council, the ministry has said that Riyadh, Ankara and Doha generously fund and arm the terrorists. It added that such a support is a flagrant violation of a number of UN resolutions.
The ministry also slammed the United States, France and Britain for preventing the UN Security Council from adopting serious measures in condemnation of terrorist crimes in Syria. It added that such inaction would further embolden the terrorists to escalate their violence.
In an interview with Russian media, a Daesh terrorist captured by Kurdish fighters in northern Syria makes shocking revelations about Turkey’s links with the terrorist group. Twenty-year-old Abdurrahman Abdulhadi says he received training in a camp in Turkey. Abdulhadi added that Turkish commanders were among the trainers whose teachings were translated for ISIL newcomers.

The Saudi-led Coalition Forces suffered another devastating blow when two Qaher-I ballistic missiles hit their military bases in the province of Ma’rib and the border region of Tawwal on Tuesday, and killed over 200 troops, including Saudi, UAE, British and US officers.
“A Qaher-I ballistic missile of Yemen struck al-Safer military base in Ma’rib province, killing over 137 Saudi-led aggressors, including a large number of Saudi and Sudanese troops, five UAE officers, head of the operations room (in Safer military base) and foreign military experts who seemed to be American and British,” a Yemeni said.
“The Yemeni forces have attacked Al-Khuba region with Over 700 rockets and missiles,” the Arabic-language media outlets quoted an unnamed military source as saying.
“The Qaher-I missile precisely hit the target, the Jizan airport; the third such missile used in the past 24 hours to target military positions in Southern Saudi Arabia,” Yemeni military sources stated.
The Yemeni army and popular forces targeted Saudi Arabia’s Aramco Oil Company in the Southern province of Jizan with Qaher-I ballistic missiles.

Receiving scant attention from Western mainstream media outlets except for a few notable exceptions, Americans and many alternative media outlets have remained ignorant to the fact that private mercenaries from Blackwater (aka Academi) appear to have been contracted by the GCC Gulf state feudal monarchies to assist in the military war of terror in Yemen against the Houthi rebels and the embattled Yemeni people.
Al-Masirah, Yemen’s Arabic language website reported that the Commander-In-Chief of the firm’s operation in Yemen, a Mexican national, was killed on Wednesday in the al-Omari district of Ta’izz Province.
The Colombian troops now in Yemen, handpicked from a brigade of some 1,800 Latin American soldiers training at an Emirati military base, were woken up in the middle of the night for their deployment to Yemen last month. They were ushered out of their barracks as their bunkmates continued sleeping, and were later issued dog tags and ranks in the Emirati military. Those left behind are now being trained to use grenade launchers and armored vehicles that Emirati troops are currently using in Yemen.

Yemen’s army and popular forces targeted and destroyed two Saudi warships in the waters near Bab al-Mandab Strait on Monday, bringing the number of the Saudi vessels sent down in the waters offshore Yemen to 10.
The Saudi-led forces sustained heavy casualties in the Yemeni army’s missile attack on the Bab al-Mandeb region in Southwestern Yemen.
The Yemeni forces missiles hit the Saudi-led coalition’s command headquarters in Sha’ab al-Jen region near Bab al-Mandeb, killing over 150 coalition servicemen, including 23 Saudi troops, 9 UAE officers and soldiers, seven Moroccan officers and 42 Blackwater troops.

The Hadi loyalists and their allies from the Saudi-led Coalition suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the Yemeni Army’s Republican Guard and their popular committees near the Yemeni city of Ta’iz on Wednesday.
According to a battlefield journalist that is embedded with the Yemeni Army’s Republican Guard, the latter and the Houthis carried out a powerful attack on the defensive positions of the Hadi loyalists at Mount Hayd Al-Baqr, resulting in the popular resistance forces taking full control of this site that overlooks the villages of Dabeen and Juraybah, which are located between Ta’iz and Al-Lahj in southern Yemen.
