UK police have found the body of a Syrian cleric shot dead in his car in the British capital.
Abdul Hadi Arwani, who was in his late 40s, was found dead with gunshot wounds to his chest while sitting in his vehicle in a street in northwest London.
Arwani was reported to have travelled to Syria last year, where where he had met some terrorist leaders.
Imam Arwani was obliged to resign as an imam at the An-Noor Mosque, West London, after the mosque became linked to jihadi preachers and terror suspects.
Sources in London reported that because he was no longer an important religious leader, and had not even a mosque from which to preach his violent sermons, he may have been a victim of internal feuding between various jihadist gangs for the control of the slave trade for international terrorism, a very lucrative business of such times.
