The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has extended for one year its sanctions against Yemen’s Ansarullah movement amid unabated Saudi aggression on the impoverished country.
The Security Council on Wednesday extended its sanctions on Ansarullah movement and the former president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, until February 26, 2017.
The UN Security Council passed a resolution last year targeting the Houthi Ansarullah movement in Yemen.
Two senior Ansarullah leaders, Abdul Khaliq al-Houthi and Abdullah Yahya al-Hakim were also blacklisted by the UNSC.
