An anonymous from Aleppo, Syria, July 2015:

“We didn’t sleep all the night. The attacks of yesterday 2nd July started around afternoon and continued up till today 8:30 am 3rd July. They said that 3-4 civilians died, but 87 civilians injured. The ambulance voices didn’t stop all night long.

You had to hear the people over here in Aleppo. Aren’t they Syrians?

After all these years and after all these attacks on them and after they lost their income sources and family members, they are asking the Syrian Army to terminate the terrorist attackers and their nests, which have become like cancer in Syria’s body.

They don’t care if that termination happens by chemical weapons, bombs, or whatever.

Syrian army had defended the city, and all the lies on the media claiming the terrorists victories are nothing but rumors and gossips”…

Syria affirmed that the countries “shedding crocodile tears” over the Syrian people are the same ones which have been proposing draft resolutions at the UN Security Council to cover the crimes of terrorists in Syria.

This came in two letters addressed by Foreign and Expatriates Ministry to the UN Secretary General and head of the UN Security Council commenting on allegations that the Syrian government is using “barrel bombs.”

HRW did it again.
The HRW tweet falsely claimed that the Syrian government used “barrel bombs”.

But, as Adam Johnson of ‘Fair.org’ ‘points out’, the picture is a still from a pirated copy of a video produced and uploaded on March 8 by the Danish TV station DR Nyheder. The drone video shows the immense damage done by last summer’s Israeli bombing of Gaza.

HRW also used a wrongly attribute picture to claim that a person hurt by Nazis in Ukraine was a victim of the Russian president Putin.

This is the third time HRW is using a wrongly attributed pictures to depict current enemies of U.S. imperialism as having causing the damage the U.S. empire and/or its friends have caused. That is not mere bias by HRW. It is willful fraud.

Human Rights Watch has been part of a sectarian anti-Syrian propaganda campaign. It is hyping the “barrel bombs”, allegedly used by the Syrian government, as inhumane weapons.

According to HRW, pictures of the destroyed town of Kobane are somehow related to Syrian “barrel bombs”.

But the picture was published in the New York Times and the caption says: “The predominantly Kurdish town of Kobani is devastated after months under siege by Islamist forces and airstrikes by a United States-led coalition”
