The SAAF continued on Friday operations and airstrikes against terrorists’ positions in areas across the country, leaving increasing numbers of terrorists killed and destroying their equipment and heavy weaponry.
The Syrian Air Force targeted gatherings of Daesh-IS terrorists, destroying their vehicles, in the southern countryside of the northeastern province of Hasaka, according to a military source.
The Army establishes also full control over northwestern countryside of Hama killing Daesh-IS and Jabhat al-Nusra mercenaries, more reports from other areas.
Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in chief of the army and armed forces, Defense Minister Fahd Jasem al-Freij visited on Wednesday a number of army units in Homs eastern countryside, inspecting their situation and conditions of their tasks.
He underlined that the Syrians are determined in their war against terrorism, saying “the armed forces will remain at a high moral spirit and combatant readiness to defeat terrorism and its supporters, to preserve the Homeland’s sovereignty, dignity and honor”
