In an interview with Alternet.org, Hersh was asked about the then-US-Secretary-of-State’s role in the Benghazi Libya US consulate’s operation to collect weapons from Libyan stockpiles and send them through Turkey into Syria for a set-up sarin-gas attack, to be blamed on Assad in order to ‘justify’ the US invading Syria, as the US had invaded Libya to eliminate Gaddafi. Hersh said: 

That ambassador who was killed, hewas known as a guy, from what I understand, as somebody, who would not get in the way of the CIA. As I wrote, on the day of the mission he was meeting with the CIA base chief and the shipping company. He was certainly involved, aware and witting of everything that was going on. And there’s no way somebody in that sensitive of a position is not talking to the boss, by some channel

Hypocrisy, subversion and dirty propaganda tricks are the hallmarks of Western handling of conflicts in the wider Middle East, British Foreign Office (FCO) papers reveal. A batch of FCO files on the Afghan insurgency of the 1980s has just been released by the National Archives in London.

When in December 1979, the Soviet Union had to intervene in Afghanistan to stop the country turning into a haven for fundamentalist terror groups, the collective West accused Moscow of aggression and a land grab. Sanctions were imposed, the 1980 Moscow Olympics were boycotted by the US and some of its client states, and what the West called “moderate” opposition to the government of Babrak Karmal, were given money and weapons to “bleed the Soviets to the last Afghan,” as Selig Harrison, a Washington Post correspondent and a long-time Afghanistan watcher with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace think tank put it. His objective media reports from Afghanistan were dismissed by Washington as pro-Moscow propaganda.

Rings a bell? It should, because the Western handling of Syria looks very much like a repetition of its tactics in Afghanistan, the terrible consequences of which are now for all to see. So what do the FCO Afghan papers tell us about the way the West is going about its world “leadership”?

The ISIL terrorist group is using organ harvesting as a way to finance its operations and save the lives of injured members, media reports said on Tuesday.

The Wahhabi interpretation of Islam adopted by ISIL has even pushed them further. For them [ISIL] it is permissible to kill an apostate and eat his flesh if deemed necessary. Thus, incarnating Cannibalism in its ugliest practices. Boris Walker, an Israeli man also known as Boris Wolfman, was arrested for performing illegal surgeries on the Syrian refugees in small Turkish clinics. Patients illegally receiving an organ had to pay between €70,000 and €100,000, according to an indictment lodged against him, whereas the refugee organ donors received very small amount of money, resulting in tens of thousands of euros in profit for each transplant.

In 2012, at least 10 Israeli citizens were arrested for membership in an organ trafficking gang. It also included organs of the Palestinians killed by the Israelis. Israel admitted in 2009 that it had harvested organs from dead Palestinians without permission from their next of kin in the 1990s…
