The cowardly NATO assassinations of Hezbollah’s top commander Imad Mughniyeh (2008) and his son Jihad Mughniyeh (2015) which both took place outside any battlefield, highlights the criminal nature of colonial militarism which does not recognize ‘military rules of engagement’ because it has never had any legal grounds for being in the Middle East.

World War One eliminated the Ottoman Empire to pave the way for European colonial powers to try to take complete control of Middle East oil.

The Balfour Declaration of 1917 which is an agreement between the British government and the Zionist Federation paved the way for World War Two, so that Occupied Palestine could be populated with Europeans, so that it would become the most heavily armed military garrison in the Middle East for the colonial oil wars.

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari warned Tel Aviv of the devastating response of the regional resistance movements to Israel’s recent air raid on the Syrian Golan Heights that killed several Hezbollah members and an Iranian military adviser.

“The IRGC will remain steadfast for the collapse of the Zionist regime of Israel through its continued support for the Lebanese and Palestinian combatants, but this time it supports will be on a scale larger than its supports during the 33-day and 51-day wars against the Israeli army,” General Jafari said

“The Zionists must wait for the devastating thunderbolts of the anti-Israel resistance groups in the region,” the Iranian commander warned.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps in a statement on Monday announced that an IRGC war veteran commander, providing military counseling services to the Syrian forces in their fight against the Takfiri terrorists, has been killed while defending the Shiite holy sites in the Muslim country.

Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Allahdadi, the veteran commander of the IRGC, was martyred during an Israel helicopter gunship attack on the Syrian town of Quneitra while fulfilling his duty as military advisor and defending the holy Shiite shrines in the country, said the statement.

Brigadier General Allahdadi was in Syria to render military advice to the Syrian army and popular forces in their fight against the ISIL terrorists in the Arab country.
